Like that you can sell your corn directly to the consumer. The Blueberries look amazing. . You will get a bunch of sales at the market for those tomatoes. Thanks for showing us everything. Take Care Be safe on the farm. Out
WOW, that sky at the end, so blue and white. Those Blueberries are huge, you guys are so LUCKY to still have all those pick your own farms nearby, nothing is better than to pic your own. No matter how BAD your arthertis is when you wake up you get in a Pick your own patch and the wind is blowing and that Blue sky - its better than any arthertis drug they have on the market. Thanks to Logan and Frank for taking us along. They got rid of all our pick your own and put up expensive homes and Condos. The parents all passed away and the kids sold out the Farms - SO SAD.
You are right Logan. Sammi can do anything. Blueberries look amazing. Are most of your corn customers buying corn to feed the deer. Many of our hunters in my area feed them all year round. Definitely show us how you’re going to install your fencing. Regards to all. God bless.
I’m not sure what they are doing with it since I barely get too talk with our customers out at the store. I’m sure they are feeding there deer though! I will for sure have a video of that, we are off to the beach so once we come back we should be putting it up! God bless 😃
I don't think I've seen your blueberry field before. They look like the California vineyards without the wires. Beautiful and very uniform. Well tended, it looks like.
Nice looking patch! It’s good that you optimize your hours by picking berries while you’re waiting on your main crops. I’m sure your customers appreciate fresh berries, even if they’re not yours. Where’s your girlfriend? Slacker!
She’s going to be a pharmacist so she was at the pharmacy. Every other day she’s picking berries, & working as you might see through my other videos. Thanks for watching 😃
Lots of blueberries they look beautiful. What are the bags of corn used for? You go through lots of it. I didn’t know if it is for planting or for feed. Sounds so weird to hear you say the last planting of the season. Time is really moving.
I am unsure what all customers use the corn for but I know a lot of people use it for feeding there animals. Time is sure moving fast this season! Thank you for watching! 😃
I recently saw ahand printer device that could of printed your information on the blank feed bags. And you would be able to use it to print on other things you sell , plastics, fabric, wood, and even concrete. Its called a HAND JET E B S 260. YOU could even print shirts that say" its not much But its HONEST WORK"😊 AND. PRINT them as you need them. Just like the bags you filled with corn. I know its not cheap but its an idea for ya. Love your videos & family business. God bless
About 60 years ago when I was a kid we raised blackberries and raspberries, sold hundreds of gallons most years for a whopping price of $2.00 per gallon,,,, picked, pick you own was $1.00 per gallon. June bugs were our biggest problem for pests, bet those blueberries are a little higher priced these days.
We need more videos with Jill,, showing us what she's baking in the store.. So Yummy,,.im gonna Drive up from texas with a wedding ring,,,and steal her ..hope everyone is well,,,
Hi Logan! Is all that corn bought for animal feed? Watching Sami over the years makes me wonder if there’s anything she can’t do. Hold on to her, ok? 😃 Take care….😉 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
My hubby loves your show! I enjoy it too, but please wear your seatbelt! Sammy was, and if you were wearing yours, I apologize for the comment. Just couldn't see it. Stay safe. 😊
Hey from the Catskills! Nice to see living paths In blueberry fields. Do you put wood chips underneath? What is the PH in your fields? What would your family accomplish if was much?
I picked rockmelons for about 3 months behind a machine that was constantly moving. My back has never forgiven me and I've never eaten them since. Rockmelons are Australian for cantalope.
How many strands of the polywire do you plan to install for the deer fence? You will probably want to drive multiple ground rods, each spaced several feet apart. This is especially important when the ground gets dry. Will you have any problem driving them deep enough in the rocky soil? If you can't go deep, then you need additional rods.
So all together it is 4 miles of strawberries. We plan on going around the field twice so the deer have less of a chance getting into the field. I don’t believe we will have any issue getting the rods into the ground if it is dry. We will probably wait until it rains to put them in after so we do not have any trouble. Thank you for watching! 😃
@BroyansFarm Best of luck with the fence, it will be a learning experience for sure. Before you get the fence up the deer will walk on the plastic and punch holes with their hooves. I can tell you one thing for sure, don't string some fence wire and then leave it un-electrifed overnight; the deer will wreck havoc. Deer have to be trained to the fence from the get-go. Have everything ready to go before dark, charger, ground rods, wire to connect charger to polywires and to ground rods, etc.
We get them through the plant companies we order plants from. For example proven winners will have tags for whatever plants we order. Great question! Thank you for watching! 😃
I am unsure on the exact varieties since it is a nearby farm, but sammi usually picks around 20-25 lbs a day when she goes. All together in one day we usually end up with 35 lbs. thanks for watching!
...quite a shopping spree there ...!.. even mCdoalds ,,?.. ive not ate there in five years but they are building a brand new restaurant by my Moms place so ..?..
Tie the bucket around your belt then you can pick with both hands. Don't see how you can pick, then resell with a profit considering labor time to pick.
You'll definitely want a reel(s) when it comes time to take it down and/or move it to a new location. But I think he plans to leave it in one spot for several years.
The blueberry farm near us does, that is why they have those inflatables. For us on the farm we do have some trouble where we will do other things to try and eliminate them from eating our crop. Thank you for watching! 😃
people who buy your corn already know you, so I don't think that it makes a great difference if you have the non printed ones. So don't worry about that. Even the Veggie Boys sell their corn in reused bags from the feed they get for their animals.
@@beckyumphrey2626 they do it in the same building where they store there potatoes. Always in bags from cow or horse feed. They even had a video where they are using the metal twisted wire because they have problems with there sewing machine (the needles keep braking). I think that saves quit some money not to have to buy bags.
@@wernerdriver4996 I love the veggie boys (and a stable life) , Andrew even mentioned Broyans Farm in one of their video's when the were at a festival and walked past the Broyans farm truck "we are in the presence of famous people". I thought that was very nice to give them a shout out. They are also a very nice and sweet farming family and I love how the whole family takes care of each other.
You are blessed to have an employee like Frank. Hard worker and always busy.
Thanks so much for your comments means allot👍
Frank is a one man farm crew. I surprised he don't have his own fan club. As for sewing the bags, Sammi definitely knows how.

I agree with Sammie, that calf shed being loaded onto the trailer is hysterical 😂
Huge are tasteless, small, medium is by far the best. There's nothing better than our wild Canadian blueberries. Best in the world.
