For sunflowers, try sunflower selections and get their procut line, they're all single stem and they're all uniform in size they also all bloom at exactly the same time, so you would need to plant some every week or two during the season to keep them available. You can cut the sunflowers as soon as you see a small amount of yellow in the center of the bud, and they'll open fully in the vase. This could give you more time to cut them since you'd be able to cut them a couple extra days before market.
Also the Procut do not drop yellow pollen onto your table when in a vase.....they are designed specifically for cut flowers....beautiful and easy to grow.
The sun flowers are beautiful. Daisy eating corn like a human is wonderful. Thank You Logan for all your beautiful camera work. Both girls eat corn like we do WOW. It is so disappointing when things don’t grow with all the hard work that goes into it, I feel for you all as I’ve been though it only on a smaller . Gosh Logan, cut the yellow centred sunflowers off and leave the shoots and leaves on the stem 🌻. Sell the head for a buck or 2 more. People need leaves in flower arrangements. It will save you time , not cutting them off, and it will save further cuts to your fingers. Obviously youll need more water buckets. See how you go at 1 market and see it they sell any better. I’m drooling watching the yellow beans and everything else for that matter. My backyard garden has something (days ago I spotted a rabbit and no idea how it made it through) eating away the beans and if that’s not enough, the plants are being cut up….nasty neighbours! 😵💫😵💫The birds are making holes in the netting covering the domes to get to the food! Nasty creatures leaving the gardener nothing….😵💫 Take care….👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

I don't recommend you let dogs eat corn on cobs. The cob can get logged in lower stomach and cause blockage. I had this happen to my spaniel many years ago. She needed surgery and thankfully was ok.
