28:25 "Because of these metro lines we are kinda stuck." OK, I know it's not realistic, but if we lay metro lines *underground*, we avoid many, many issues. It's like magic, people disappear at the shop's corner and after a short while reappear next to home. One day, real cities will have something like that and it will be fantastic : )
For the polluted water issue, you could place a couple of floating garbage collectors at the exits of the water treatment area and they should get rid of most of it. I used a lot of them once when I tried to give my cims that same water to drink, and it worked!
@@abdulrahmanzubairu8371 You don't sadly, a lot of this game's problems are solved with DLC and while I enjoy this game quite a bit, it seems like everything I want to fix, I need to spend another $5-$15 to resolve issues. there's a reason people who play this game a lot are running pretty much every DLC + content creator packs.
If you find that you run out of options later on in this series without using mods, it would be really nice to start introducing mods in the same way that you've gradually been introducing the DLC's. I've been using mods, but sometimes you don't really know how to use them properly, and your videos are so informative, that if you do a series about mods in that way it would be really cool!
Thank you for another amazing entry into this series. I get giddy when you upload because I know I'll have hours of ideas and content to put into my own city.
After messing around in my city with quays and adding the extra layer to the downtown core, it blows my mind you got it to look this good without mods, particularly Move It. I WANT MORE!
@22:00 since you're not planning on emptying them, you can turn those landfills OFF, and save money on the operating costs. At a cost of ₡240/week each, you'd be saving ₡1,200.
Interesting bit about an underground cargo route; this has been done! The City of Rochester ran a 'subway' from 1927 to 1997, with a 2 mile section underground, it also carried passenger rail and interurban traffic from 1927 to 1956, with cargo traffic continuing to 1997. Also, the Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo Railway ran a tunnel under Hunter Street, built in 1895 and still exists and is used today. In both cases these aren't as long as your tunnel here, but it has been done.
Hey, I was following this series and wondered why it stop appearing in my feed. The last two episodes were not recommended by UA-cam to me, so I had to come and look for them manually. Great episode as always, keep up the great content
That train is a little bit out of it, but I understand how hard it is to plan so far in advance. I've seen it go through big stretches underground but mostly in mountains not flat, or in sort of a corridor. I've seen very crazy lengthy railways and trains in America, you wouldn't see in the Netherlands 🤣
I have been doing my own city and I think it looks pretty good but until I saw this city, I was like, what the, this Is way better than mine also keep up the great work
My pollution is purple on the ground an brown in the water yet I am on the same map. How do I change these esthetics? I want to play vanilla (i.e. not screw up unlocks/achievements) Thanks!
Just a question, Why do you worry about bumpy underground roads? especially when you cant see them? just curious if theres a gameplay mechanic that it would mess up
Hello, can you provide this city with only the layout of the roads and subdivisions? on Steam? my pc is weak i have just the normal vanila game, i don't have any DLC, thank you for your kindness... Like!!!
I wonder if they are adding expansions just to milk more money or they are actually investing it into CS2. I do hope they are investing. Community surely deserved it.
Just a tip. Never, ever, *never* use the "eco" sewage treatment. While they produce half the pollution, they do it by processing half the sewage. This means that for every standard sewage outflow pipe you need, you will need 2 of the "eco" version. And then the eco ones cost more than the standard ones too. They are extremely poorly designed to the point that you are actually harming your city by using them. All told, regardless of whether you use the standard outflow pipes, or the "eco" version, you will always produce the same amount of pollution.
If you use enough of the trash collectors in the water in your canal, you can actually clean all the water and stop polluting it. thanks to @realcivilengineer for that information form all his experiments.
@@CityZilla he got me into this game and have been playing it ever since. learned a lot from him. learning a lot from your videos as well, especially in regards to the dlcs and making everything look better with the cosmetic touches you do. would love to see some more of those aesthetic time-lapse builds as well as they are super calming to just pop on and watch!! Great work man!

How does one solve the problem without the dlc

You are literally the Bob Ross of Cities: Skylines. Very satisfying content, thank you.

I have played around with this idea. I may give it a shot on this next one
@@CityZilla I’m a console player and I think I would be bored to see you play with mods :/

You can really do a lot without mods. It's just the assets that I miss the most in this series. And surface painter 😂

Barista:"Would u like some milk for your americano?"
Me:"Just a SMIDGE"
Just started watching your series this week and LOOK AT U COMING IN CLUTCH on TIME 👍

Thanks Victor! UA-cam can be weird sometimes with the recommendation engine. Glad to see you made it though!
I never miss one of these videos! I love this series

Fishing and cargo harbor near to the office building area???
In Urk and Scheveningen you can smell the fish factory already on a mile distance.
Another awesome video! It's coming along nicely 👌
How do you build the vertical farms?
Awwww yis! Just what I needed! Thankyou sir
I have been doing my own city and I think it looks pretty good but until I saw this city, I was like, what the, this Is way better than mine also keep up the great work
You'll get there. I have many cities under my belt
You can empty landfill into waste facilities to remove them reduce the pollution;-)

With game anarchy you can still get achievements with mods
Just a question, Why do you worry about bumpy underground roads? especially when you cant see them? just curious if theres a gameplay mechanic that it would mess up
It's better if the roads are smooth. It can cause some issues to have your roads all over the place
This game is so huge and awesome...
I didn't think having an active commercial/industrial front like that would work well, but it does
How did you build the futuristic (and black) buildings?
Nice job B. Say hi to S for me. We miss you guys
Thanks dude! We miss you guys too!
The two buildings near passenger harbours really need some re-touch.
cant we connect lanes with lanes through nodes ?
Yay new inspiration 👌😊
Very nice!
Hey! Just a quick question, financial district come out in a few weeks. Are you planning on utilizing them within this city?
Yes I am! I am actually super excited for this one. There are a lot of fun things we can do with it

I would like to believe they are working on cities skykines 2 in the background
Is this a vanilla map or a workshop map? I really like it!
It's apart of the plazas and promenades dlc
@@CityZilla Gotcha, thanks!
Yeah
Anyone know where I could get this map without having the DLC ?
I find recycling centers are the best for me, not waste transfer facility

Is there a certain map theme you use? Your water looks so blue and bright.
Yes, I have a theme mix uploaded to my steam profile! The link is in the description

Is it normal that 50K city gains millions and has reservation as 11M? Is simulation in hype mode? not for that city but for the game...
It can be. It's because I have two very profitable industries and not a lot of overhead
