  • Lucite rods and other tools and pretties are available at Tiny Pandora Crafting Boutique. www.tinypandor... This tutorial is all about complex caning and "scayning", my signature technique of sculpting with cane. You will love putting your twist on the colors, sizes and shapes of cane and Pandora makes it easy by showing you exactly how canes are constructed. Love, Pandora

I love all your colours and techniques, it takes beautiful people like you to teach me different ways of using colour, if I don't see it, I don't think about the colours you use, a lot of them I'd not buy because I can't see me using them, but you show me that they work so well together, I was pretty 2D in class when I was younger, didn't have a lot of crafty people/teachers in my life that loved art the way so many do today, so I'm always thirsty for Knowledge,
Thanks so much for your time effort and the money you must spend making so many canes/jewellery & art pieces to teach us. I really appreciate it and can see millions do, you are truly inspiring. 🙏💜💐

I know this was nearly three years ago, but I had to comment, anyway! I picked up this hobby about 2 months ago, and have yet to make anything that I would wear, or display, but I've loved the learning process. In all honesty, l have watched hundreds of video's, and have learned so many tips and tricks, but this video has taught me more than everything I've seen, so far. Most importantly, to not thrive for perfection, but rather, do what feels right, and not worry about making everything "by the rules." FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, I PANDORA-FY WHENEVER THE URGE ARISES!! THANK YOU!

Teresa, I have a small outfit that designs, customises & manufactures writing instruments, a lot of which is for handicapped people. I am always looking for new ideas especially the unusual & unique. although polymer clay has been used as a medium for many others who "make pens", I doubt very much if "they" have ever experimented with incorporating some of your ideas & creations into their work. Hopefully I can do you ideas justice as I give this a bash. Thanks again Ric.

I absolutely love this video and want to try it so bad but my blend is horrid 😆 it's Friday night and I've already put my things up but I'm starting a new day tomorrow and I'm not stopping until I conquer the blender..I pray 😁 I have only been doing this since September of 2020 and I know I'm still learning so I'm not so hard on myself. But I absolutely love this video and sorry for talking so much ☺️ sometimes I feel like I have to much to release..lol 😘

I am absolutely fascinated with canes, and what you can do with them. I run into trouble though, because I want to use them all, and then I hit sensory overload and get lost in picking colors, etc. I so love how you've explained the uses of translucent clay, and how it affects any colors that are beside, or around it, and how lights affect darks, etc. You have helped to reel me back in from the stratosphere to which I sometimes tend to spiral when I get overexcited, then confused. I actually chuckle outloud when you go into chit-chat mode, because I do very much the same thing. I definitely get, and love your brand of humor! I am rather new at this, but I enjoy it so much. I rationalize that the expense of clay, tools, and all the accoutrements, is way less expensive, but way more therapeutic, than a good shrink. There is NOTHING better than coming home after a long day of work, and "playing with my clay". Thank you for your wonderful and insightful videos that you are kind enough to put together, and share with all of us hopefuls out here...you are appreciated so much, and talented and gifted artistically!

Makes me want to grab some clay and create!…true sign of a fabulous teacher :) I love your "Pandorification" philosophy of allowing the shapes to form instead of forcing or being too bound and rigid. I think it allows for flexibility and an openness to those accidents that often take us down unique paths. Awesome tutorial, thanks so much for sharing!!

I like your nails without the big cumbersome plastic look. But, of course, that’s just personal preference. I follow you and love your sharing and generosity. I was at the polymer clay adventure 2015 and was this not on that. I am also registered for 2016 and look forward to seeing your tutorial.

Interesting ideas. Thanks. But. What do you do that things you do will not brocken. Femo is not too strong

I’m also wondering if you make notes or some kind of record keeping in your canes or veneers, so if you ever want to replicate them in the future you’ll know how to get there again?

I really should but I only have stills of the canes I teach.
