Clinton Keith is such a great improvement and very scenic! I instantly recognized that bridge as a wildlife crossing. I've seen those before in LA County.
Wow, that is interesting about the zoning of the HS for the community you mentioned across the street. Great footage of the area. Love that area, great for young families and sports
The reason why Murrieta sends there kids to Menifee and not Murrieta was because they were very SLOW at adding new high schools, and only when it got to critical mass they made an agreement to send their kids to Menifee, Menifee on the other hand was very aggressive about building new schools. Once Murrieta started adding new High Schools they never changed the agreement with Menifee.
@Moondoggy1941 that is interesting to hear some history. Did you live in this area at the time or perhaps somewhere here in Murrieta-Menifee back then? Appreciate the first hand experience and input.
@@moving2murrieta I have been here since 1989. Murrieta simply did not want to build more than 1 high school but it got to a critical mass situation and they finally came out swinging. Busing kids from Scott to the only high school would have been too far, so they shipped them off to Menifee's only high school. This is the area between Scott and Clinton Keith.
0:55 Back in 2007 and up Murrieta was hit really hard with the recession because they had too many duplicate stores for the area, you do not need a Lowes and a Home Depot within 1 mile of each other. Put the Home Depot in of the most underserved areas Winchester aka French Valley.
Yes, there are neighborhoods in Murrieta that are walkable to restaurants. I like the neighborhood in west Murrieta behind the golf range (no HOA) and it’s right near and walkable to the restaurants in Downtown Murrieta.

Hi @Twobarpsi thanks for the comment as always. Chris is going to share something in a minute.

@TinaOrtiz1232 we had an interesting comment from another viewer about how it played out with the cities and school districts back then.
They are also making a Ross next to the Home Depot:)
Thanks for that info! I think we are good on Ross’ too 😆 JK
Chick Fil A opens today.
Nice! They built that quick!
Chipotle coming in April next to the Costco
@@moving2murrieta Yeap one in Menifee and now one more in Murrieta.

I can agree that French Valley would be a better location for yet another Home Depot 👍
@@moving2murrieta Does Spencer Crossing even have their own full size Fire Department?
@@Moondoggy1941 Not sure I understand the question and I'm sure which fire station/department is assigned to Spencer's Crossing...
@@moving2murrieta I was wondering if there is a Fire Station in Spencers Crossings? or if there is one across the Winchester/79 ?
Lots of blue collar folk in the area and plenty of construction ;) you do the math!
