We're in the process of looking to buy in Menifee, Murrieta Temecula and you should mention the high taxes of 1.9% and fire insurance. I've gotten quotes for both $27,000 on a $900,000. Another thing i noticed is a lot of cars parked in the streets.
Yes property taxes can be high depending on the neighborhood but there are many low tax areas as well. That's a pretty nuts quote for the insurance rates! Homes that are not in a high fire area should not be too crazy!
I lived in Murrieta for 27 years. It was the most incredible city in California. Safe, beautiful and ever changing. The Santa Rosa Plateau has incredible hiking. I found nothing bad, it was VALHALLA! I moved to the Bay Area and miss it terribly. You should move there!!! Alta Murrieta, Murrieta Ranchos, Copper Canyon, Tenaja, La Cresta, Bear Creek....THE BEST
@@livingintemeculacalifornia lol I grew up in Torrance, move to West Hollywood. Then to Rancho Palos Verdes, then to Murrieta. I found my 1930's dream home in Marin County. But will always call Murrieta home.
A real estate agent telling folks not to live somewhere. Very weird. I don’t want to live in an area that has its residents saying, “stay out”. That screams Trump plantation to me.
@@impitt28 Temecula and Murrieta are conservative areas. Murrieta is the more liberal of the two. Temecula also beautiful can get crazy! But they are beautiful cities. We vacationed in Temecula this past Christmas.
I love that it’s a conservative county. I love living here. If you can work in the area you will love it. The cookie cutter homes are pretty boring! I wish builders would use their creativity and design nicer homes. The summer is really hot. The winters can be very cold, and we do get more rain than he said. It’s a relaxing place to live, lots of families, and that’s what makes it a nice place to live.
It's super close. I think it's likely! The last census data is from 2021 and at that time Temecula only had 4K less people. And Menifee has grown a ton since then.
I lived in Murrieta for almost A decade it is a overpriced Place to live and the police Are often bored and will Pull you over for no reason. I was constantly harassed Almost every day by the Police for walking down The street and basically existing.

Oh man, most people move here from the Bay Area, not the other way around ha! Maybe you will make it back one day! 🙂

Thanks for this great video
Glad you liked it!

It definitely is a nice place!
Is it true Menifee now has a larger population than Temecula?
It's super close. I think it's likely! The last census data is from 2021 and at that time Temecula only had 4K less people. And Menifee has grown a ton since then.
The heat and traffic now. Its tripled in 12 years😮
More houses = more people = more traffic. Still quite a bit less than SD/OC/LA though.
Thanks for keeping others from moving here. Good work. We like Temecula and Menifee valley just as they are.
💁
That’s why I left Fresno OUCH! I do not like the heat!
It's hot here but not Fresno hot 😅
Does Murrieta have any shuttles or bus service that go to LAX or San Diego Airport?
There are people that you can hire to shuttle you but there is not a major company that I'm aware of.
I don't know where you get your information from;
Temecular is now a well developed beautiful city becuse of it's wine industry.
Thanks for the feedback!
Temecula is planned out better and a nicer place to live
I'm curious, why do you think that?
I think it’s actually nice….just far away from everything
It's a super nice place to live and it's affordable. Just 1 hour from most parts of SD/OC.
The high property taxes 😮
Yup, depends on the neighborhood.
MURRITA IS AMAZIBG THERE IS NITHIBG BAD I LOVE IT
Glad you are happy!
We absolutely have 4 seasons
👍
OC still the best
Most of Orange County is really nice, it's just $$$
You can have Santa Ana, Fullerton, Anaheim, etc. If you're not living south of Irvine, you're not really in OC.

@@erickayson588 i just bought a house in Anaheim. historic downtown

How so?
Sounds like you should move.
