The topping is like 3 or so years older which basically answers most of your issues with it in the beginning, I'm curious to see what an updated version looks like, as i hope it would have a balanced outputs etc.
Also with K11 people have to be wary of the output impedance of the headphones especially on the balanced headphone out...

Hey man wondering if you could help. I looking to buy a dac amp for gaming but I don’t use a gaming headset I use headphones and a usb/xlr mic which at the moment I just plug my headphones straight into my mic. How do or can you use a dac to use my headphones and microphone. Audio newbie sorry for the long question

Hey mate about to pull the trigger on the 490 Pros! My main use will be gaming and FPS games like call of duty. If you had to pick from there DAC/AMPS which would you choose? where I am there all about the same price. I have fallen on either Topping DX3 Pro+, FiiO K11 or the Zen dac v3 appreciate any advice :)

The DX3 Pro+ will produce closest to the true sound, while the Zen Dac V3 will color the sound the most. I haven't used the K11, but it's really all down to personal preference.

I find my topping to be really fatiguing and a bit sharp with the highs in some situations, looking for an alternative how does the K11 handle that area? thanks! more for music less for games.

I dunno man, I think the K11 may still make things spicy and fatiguing if your current set is doing that already. I would try a tube amp tho, might help

use filter 1, its the clearest sound

@@francisezekiel13 thank you, just got my k11 today and filter 1 sounds really good for music and gaming. I’m not a big audio guy so I know there is plenty of other amps/dacs that could perform better, but the k11 definitely does what I need it to do for the price🙏
