From the person who knows the most about Elvis' cars, this is an outstanding video, albeit with the following two errors. Error i) The 2nd Rolls Royce he got was gifted in July 4, 1968, not 1965, and it is not the same Rolls that he bought in 1960, the one he poses with at the Graceland gates and which he gave away, only for the future owners being so nice to return it to Graceland., . It is easy to recocgnize them because the one he gifted in 1968 has suicide doors. It is currently painted silver, the one you correctly mention as being bought for almost $400,000 and is on loan to the Hard Rock Museum in Atlantic City. And Error #2 which is not an error, but an error of omission. ii) your take on the 507 is almost perfect, the only part missing is what it cost BMW to restore, a cool US$9m, resulting from 2 years of 12 people working on it, 8 hours a day, in addition to the 3D printing machines, worth millions, which were needed to repllicate each of the parts missing from the 507 which no current owner of a 507, probably 200, would want to sell to BMW so that they could use them. They had to be remade with those printing machines. It is the most valuable BMW unit ever built, that of chassis 70079. In 2016, megarich TV personality Jerry Seinfeld asked BMW to lend him the car for an episode of his series, "Comedians in cars having cofee". He is worth US$700m, according to Forbes but BMW declined as they consider the car PRICELESS. They referred him to Ron Gilmartin, who had just been given a similar car, by the widow of the guy who had the two for thirty years, rotting, in a Pescadero CA, farm. That was chassis 70089. In 2019, Seinfelkd finally used in one of his episodes, credited Gilmartin at the end, but kept to himself what I just described to you. He was taken aback by the BMW negative, in spite of the Gilmartin car being a beauty as well. That is papyrus white, Elvis was feaher white, before he paint it Porsche red. as there was not enough red paint at the Friedburg BMW store. So, after having said what I just said, kindly delete this message, as your video was fantastic. Its just for your information.
