- Today marks my channel's 6th anniversary, and I'm very excited to celebrate the occasion by revealing my Lego Thomas (and Sir Topham Hatt and trucks)! Thanks for 6 years of support! This project dates back over 2 years, and I'm incredibly proud of the final result. If we can reach 75 likes, I'd be happy to create a How-to-Build video for this Thomas!

@@WoodenToby We put it up on YT community, Reddit and Twitter. How did you get the Big Ben wheels to spin on the track? We've had a problems with them because of the lack of a rubber ring.
Thanks so much! When I have the motor in, the wheels are all powered and driven by the side rods, so that's not a problem. When the motor is out, he has enough weight to make the wheels roll well, and I minimize any resistance by making sure all the wheel-axle sets are equally spaced with the wheels quite close to the chassis (but not touching it of course).

That is such an impressive LEGO model of Thomas you built! I watched your other videos of your other models and they look impressive too! Do you have plans to build Edward, Gordon, Henry, Duck, Oliver, Donald and Douglas, or BoCo?
I'll stick with the RWS characters, so no doubt those are all characters I'd look to build. One in particular should be coming very soon!

I appreciate the compliment! That said, the Ideas model does a good job of including the lining and details mainly through bricks with only a few printed parts, which would potentially make it work better as an official set.

Not rude at all, I take it as a compliment! My Lego designs go back slightly longer than Yang joining Twitter, but he's definitely one of my inspirations, and we used similar techniques in our builds.

I wish there was some way to make the circuit cube move more faster.
Yeah, speed is definitely their downside. If there's enough space, you can use gears to increase the speed like in my Toby, but faster Powered Up motorized rolling stock like my new Annie and Clarabel is the route I'm looking to go.

I can motorize duplo Thomas trains with a 9 volt motor to run on 9 volt track. Gordon and spencer are very difficult

The download link for the program is in this video's description. If you were wondering about files for my models, the only one I've publicly released is the slate truck, which can be downloaded from Rebrickable. The other Studio files are included with instruction purchases. I think I had Thomas' Studio file up at one point, but replaced it with PDF instructions. I'll update those old comments so they're not confusing.
@@WoodenToby Thanks, but I was asking for the BBB wheels part file. You managed to get then in Studio in Thomas’s how-2-build vid, and I want the same wheels for Studio on my computer. Sorry for the confusion and delay, if you know what I mean.

You used the wrong whistle but besides that the video is great
That's actually his safety valve! Partially due to illustration errors, many of the engines don't have visible whistles in the Railway Series

I sell instructions for my Lego Thomas models on Rebrickable. The "LEGO Thomas and Friends Instructions" video on my channel explains all the details. The instructions include a list of parts, but you would have to buy the actual parts yourself. I buy Lego parts for my models on Bricklink.
What size wheels did you use?
They're the Big Ben Bricks medium drivers
How the hell is that 7 studs wide when u used 3x 2x1 jumper plates on both footplates at the front making it 6 studs
Check again, going across the buffer beam there are a jumper, a 1x1 tile with clip, a 1x1 plate, a 1x1 tile, and another jumper for a total of 7 studs
@@WoodenToby oh ok , my Thomas uses 1 jumper plate ( 2x1 ) and 2 flat plates ( also 2x1 ) at the front
