Fantastic model, and I love your video presentation! The surprise remake at the end was *chef's kiss*, and totally unexpected! I also really appreciate just how accurate the pinstriping/stickers are :)
I HAVE THREE WORDS… Wow, WOW, AND *WOW* Wait that’s four words. Oh well Two words. I have two words.. SICK EDWARD!! But all in all you did an amazing job on old iron, hope to see some more of him in the future!
When you showed us Edward's tired face, I had thought "Oh it'd be cool if he had an Edward's exploit remake or something." So happy you decided to do it! More remakes at the end would be very fun. Loved the model too!
Thanks! I definitely wanted to do a remake clip at the end since the model isn't motorized. I figured Edward's Exploit would be cool since I can actually remove the rods, so I went ahead and made that face for the mini-remake.
@@WoodenToby hey I had recently purchased the instructions for your models and wondered if you have a page showing how to fit the circuit cube inside the engine and I do need the link or whatever to the sticker designs for the lining and the faces
Hi there I really like how you make the Lego Thompson friends that’s really nice you already made Edward, so what if you made Henry do you know the big and strong engine once you do that I want you to try to see and get some inspiration about that because everyone wants to see you try to build Henry out of Lego form. I wonder how he would look like if he was like any others Want to try this idea
I could see Edward motorized with a Circuit Cube in the tender if you gear the drivers with a universal joint or two between engine & tender - might even be able to power the tender if you can optimize the negative space
I'm probably content with pushing him with motorized rolling stock for now, but that's an interesting idea with a universal joint. All the electronics do fit inside the tender, the issue was just traction as I mentioned, even when I added stones to weigh the tender down.
WoodenToby your Lego Edward model looks wonderful! Would you like to build Bill and Ben, Duck, Oliver, Diesel, Mavis, Donald and Douglas, S.C. Ruffey, Gordon, Henry, BoCo, Daisy, Duke, Duncan, or Peter Sam next?
That was my favorite Edward story. Edward endured so much flack from Henry, Gordon and James for being old but even when is Crankpin broke he did it. He didn't let his situation hold him back he powered through and got the passengers to the station, he was The Little Engine That Could. There wasn't a physical Mountain but still. He pulled through.
Hello, my name’s Cameron Scance. I just wanted to say that I’ve been looking at your Lego Mocs on these characters and I have to say (and everyone else would agree) that you have to be the best Lego Thomas Moc builder anyone has ever seen. I hope you keep up the good work my lad. Maybe you can try making more of the railway series coaches like from the express and perhaps more rolling stock as well as trying to make some of the other characters like; Gordon Henry, Duck, Oliver and others that your viewers and I would like to see. That is all stay safe and keep up the good work, bye. 😊
First off, LOVE EDWARD'S DESIGN! Being a lego builder myself, I must ask, will the big engines get normal wheels or XL from BBB, and what about boiler designs!?
I love your Lego models well done and I know this may be a little weird to say but I've been so impressed I've actually subscribed and I'm a subscriber to your channel and I want to get to know you better I think it's fair that I introduced myself first my name is Ethan

I touch on it a little in the video description, but I removed the wheel on the back side and attached the Circuit Cubes motor in its place. The model just blocks the Circuit Cubes from view!
This was awesome!! Great job on making Edward! Too bad about the motor brick though. At least you can still use motorized coaches to run Edward. Can't wait to see what more trains you make! :D

Well . For Edward being your first non motorised engine . He looks the best the no1 pic for me . Toby being no2 . Have you considered making more standard troublesome trucks, or narrow slate trucks with different expressions, or the other narrow gauge coaches, just to make your collection a little bigger?
I definitely enjoy growing the collection, although I'm usually inclined to make new models for variety before buying more copies of the old. That said, I'd like to make a couple pink quarry trucks, perhaps when I get around to making a Mavis.
@@WoodenToby oh take your time. Just something to keep in mind. Mavis will be great! I agree! Focus on getting more newer stuff before duplicating the older stuff!
