- Those of you who followed my not-so-subtle hints probably saw this coming! I've now shared everything in my current Lego Thomas collection, but I plan to build more!

I swear this is the best ever Percy I have seen built. Ever. That dang saddle tank is so hard to get the shape right, but you have nailed it here. Beautiful mode! I look forward to what you will build next!

I think the best part of the design is that the upper piston rod works how it does in real life. Sort of.
Basically that upper piston rod is used for the secondary piston which is supposed to have steam go on one end or the other, depending on where the wheels are.
So basically, when the wheels hit a point, the main piston can't push it, unless the steam traverses to the other side, in which makes the piston go backwards and pulling the wheels. So the main piston pushes and pulls the wheels, and the secondary piston controls when

You should make a brakevam if one of the engines are pulling a goods train. I think its a god idea, and also make Standard gauge coaches.

I love the fact he's motorised. I've done Lego RWS Narrow gauge stuff myself, but more to my own AU. I have three videos on them, the oldest has over 1.1k views which I did not expect at all

Hey, the piece count for this model is really good, it will be $20 or $30 with the wheels, frame, and motor being a little higher up, but I love the model, Mattel really needs to wake up and look at what’s going on, LEGO will totally go something like this for a set with the piece count and pricing
Thanks! I remember the pieces for the side rods were kind of expensive just because they aren't as common, but I definitely try to design cost-effective models.
@@WoodenToby It’s like LEGO did with their new lineup of speed champions sets, the single car sets are $20 and one of the 2 car pack is $30, so I will have a hard time to pick which set to get, Percy or the new speed Champions set, and I will probably go for Percy than the Speed Champions set because of my childhood of the show, and I did watch the older seasons before CGI started

You should create truck faces based off S1.
I’m just assuming, is the length of the trucks wheels the same as the wheel power function if so, could you motorize the truck, or make a van and work?
The wheels are closer together on Lego train motors, so it would look a little narrow for a truck or van. It would look better on a bogie coach.

I really love this, if it was a lego set I’d buy these in a heart beat, though I’d say the faces are just to bland, I’d use a photo of the face of the Thomas characters.
I suppose, although it's difficult to fit flat paper on the dish's rounded surface, plus I prefer not to cover up too much of the Lego part

Hi, unfortunately I can't say I have a definite timeline right now. I'm very busy with school, and I plan to slightly tweak Percy's structure (without changing his appearance).
