That was the first Elvis record I ever bought. I still love it, but it's even more special seeing him as he sings and plays the guitar. I met him in 1956 when he was performing at the Olympia Theatre. The evil Tom Parker had told me, my cousin and my sister that we would be able to meet Elvis, because we were members of his fan club, but when we got to the theatre, he said we couldn't. We were there for quite awhile and were thrilled to spend time with the "king".

Elvis was incredible! He was good and kind to everyone around him. He took care of his family and always put forth an awesome performance. How many Elvis impersonators are still representing a legend after 46yrs? The gospel music he sang was also legendary. During a concert everyone was yelling out calling him "the King", and he corrected the crowd and said "There is only one King, and that is Jesus Christ"
This song is of my favourites from Elvis. Him in that leather jacket 😍🔥🖤👌. He had such a Charisma, that smile!...❤️🔥. What a voice , what a legend, love him and his music!
B By this time, high-quality film was already very good. 35mm film is capable of capturing a similar amount of information to a 5.6k digital image. Elvis Presley's death deprives our country of a part of itself. He was unique and irreplaceable. More than 20 years ago, he burst upon the scene with an impact that was unprecedented and will probably never be equaled. God was hands on building & designing this guy for rock & roll, let's build a guy with incredible looks, great hair, perfect voice and loads of charisma, let's call him Elvis..
Elvis was an excellent Rhythm Guitar player. He started learning the guitar when he was only about 10 years old. Johnny Cash said he played rhythm very well,
My dad was a HUGE Elvis fan while I was growing up. When I wanted to play guitar He said only if you play like Elvis. I said Elvis can’t play guitar, He then showed me this video. I said that sucks Because I was a young idiot who wanted to play heavy-metal. Looking back at this Elvis was a phenomenal guitar player. I bought a J 200 because of this amazing man. Perfect in every way!
Yes, he could play a mean rhythm guitar. Johnny Cash once said that it was a shame that as Elvis became a huge star, he stopped playing the guitar and just did the singing because he was a good rhythm guitar player. Cash was right.
A truly magnificent performer. Every rock musician owes their career to Elvis… the king! Glad so many young people are being exposed to his music that we were so lucky to grow up with
Have you seen the YT posts with Robert Plant describing the impact of Elvis in post war England and the story of Led Zeppelin meeting Elvis. How they spoke for 3 hours and when they finally did leave Elvis and Robert sang Love Me to each other in a hotel corridor. Simply fantastic!
I'm just learning to play guitar, and this is one of the first songs to learn (an easy 3 chord version, of course). I remember seeing this as a kid, but really did not appreciate what was happening. Now viewing it from a student point of view, I can see that the man was absolutely marvelous. Lucky that we have recordings of his work and video. There is absolute joy in his playing music with his friends. Now I want to really do a nice job in learning this. Be safe everyone and enjoy the positive side of what he gave to the world!
You know, I would have agreed. But lewis capaldi is something special. Accents have an effect on falceto etc and while Elvis couldn't be further away from Scottish lewis performs pure, he performs as himself and he unapologetic!

God was hands on building & designing this guy for rock & roll, let's build a guy with incredible looks, great hair, perfect voice and loads of charisma, let's call him Elvis..
Yup, it's been said that God was showing off when he created Elvis...
Just push the play and the magic happens, simply the greatest of all time Elvis Presley.
My God that was a great specimen of a man!!! He was and still is the King!!!
Hello Brenda, how are you doing?
Elvis was so beautiful he could melt the ice in your drink from across the room……
Bill Black died just three years before this was filmed. Imagine how cool it would have been to see all three of them jam together here.
Yes. That is a shame. Would have been magical.
I think Elvis developed a disdain for Bill....but Black had his combo with lots of hits@@cut1986
The greatest there ever was. There is Elvis and then there is everyone else.
never better.
one of the greatest performances of this song.
eric cornelius Check out some of the Louisiana Hayride performance, too!
Mike Mac no.
What a fine fine fine looking man he is.🎶🎶🎶🎶💋💋💋💋♥️♥️♥️♥️😘😘😘
Listen to the 1954 version by Elvis and tell me it's not better.
was, is and will forever be the best Singer who ever existed
daddy bought me a record of the 50 best songs of Elvis when I was 9 years old ,so I listened to Elvis for 41 years ❤
was that his 50 Gold Record box set from 1970?
Same I was born in 1989, first albums I remember listening to in my bedroom as a little girl was Elvis Presley and the Eagles
I will always listen to Elvis until I die
Stiniasou bit weird
NASA Discovers Statue of Elvis Located on Pluto
I dont know why some people are discrediting Elvis' musicianship..he can play a guitar for goodness sake! Isnt that enough?!? The man is talented!
Elvis was an excellent Rhythm Guitar player.
He started learning the guitar when he was only about 10 years old.
Johnny Cash said he played rhythm very well,
that voice tho, who the hell can sing like that
The people who talk shit about Evil are losers.
Elvis was a pretty decent pianist as well
he had good rhythm too bad he never learned to solo but it wouldn't have been the same sound if he did
OUR HISTORY. We done it as a new country beautifully! HE broke the glass ceiling and how gorgeous is this? 🙏❤️☮️☮️☮️
The greatest singer forever 👍👍❤❤❤
Yes, he could play a mean rhythm guitar. Johnny Cash once said that it was a shame that as Elvis became a huge star, he stopped playing the guitar and just did the singing because he was a good rhythm guitar player. Cash was right.
You just said it all !!

I was going to say exactly what you just said.
His guitar abilities were vastly underrated.
That's nice and all, but you're forgetting one fatal detail...
You cannot stop the metal.
The greatest entertainer ever Elvis and no one comes close
Not even close to best
HIs talking Voice was perfect too
A truly magnificent performer.
The voice, the voice the voice, did I mention his voice, unworldly
I'm just learning to play guitar, and this is one of the first songs to learn (an easy 3 chord version, of course). I remember seeing this as a kid, but really did not appreciate what was happening. Now viewing it from a student point of view, I can see that the man was absolutely marvelous. Lucky that we have recordings of his work and video. There is absolute joy in his playing music with his friends. Now I want to really do a nice job in learning this. Be safe everyone and enjoy the positive side of what he gave to the world!
God crafted a special one in Elvis.
Millions of people worldwide are affected by Elvis his beautiful voice his humble nature plus his beautiful smile and compassion ❤❤
it was 48 years today he flew away, but he still with us !
All the people I watch are in Heaven now…..
Scotland with love
My new favourite Elvis song!
He's still the King and always will be. There will never EVER be another like him!
He could be playing a washboard and he would sound fantastic!!!! A LEGEND for ALL TIME!
I really don’t think there’s gonna be another voice like this in humanity. Try or try to find if you will. There is only one king.
Gotti me sound lik that
Long Live the King...
They'll never be another.
Tom jones
You know, I would have agreed. But lewis capaldi is something special. Accents have an effect on falceto etc and while Elvis couldn't be further away from Scottish lewis performs pure, he performs as himself and he unapologetic!
I heard this before about him and I'll say it again: God was showing off when he made ELVIS.
+shivam kardile... stop giving that fool the attention he’s craving for... he’s just a bitch who is tryin’ to get us into a racial argument with him... he’s an attention seeker... simple as that...
Marcela Gomez that’s a funny way of saying “I’m an attention whore, let me reuse a comment I saw on another video”
@@gggggggg5917 It's a free world, go fuck yourself in cuba
Augusto Pinochet that’s a funny way of acting big behind a screen.
@@gggggggg5917 Oh really? So... Fuck youself, snowflake
Charismatic ! ❤ Huge performance!
Elvis was a gorgeous man. Very talented.
imagine being that guy!!! wow... Elvis.. in leather, and so talented. undeniable! What a band as well. Would anyone say no to Elvis that night? I bet not!
Austin Butler made me a fan of this legend... it's OFFICIAL!!!
Elvis was terrific in the Singer Special. . .but what a treat it is to hear Scotty Moore's guitar solos, too!! ❤
He was brilliant in this show I never knew what a great musician he was until i saw this

Praying for George Klein.
And you are right.
I grew up and became a teenager just as Elvis was hitting the stage.
Before that it was all Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, The Platters, Eddie Fisher (who had a great voice btw), and Dean martin and other crooners.
I loved Dean martin, the Platters, and Eddie Fisher, but when Elvis came on the scene with Blue Suede Shoes, and Hound Dog and Heartbreak Hotel, a whole new world opened up and we've never looked back.
LOL. . . To this day I can't listen to Old Shep without crying.
Old Shep was a masterpiece... it bought tears to my eyes... and I am 55...
THE voice combined with Scotty Moore's delicious guitar!
Elvis was and still is the best. He worked his butt off and earned the title of the King of rock and roll. He was just a good ole country boy that was blessed with an awesome voice, the face of an Angel and enough Southern Charm to entertain crowds of over twenty thousand people. I still love him and miss him. EP definitely knew how to TCB.
That’s all right mama. But from Elvis we can’t get enough. His playing with his voice, his honky tonk movements, his humor, his friendship wit people.
This is the song that started it all!
I’m obsessed with this song since seeing the film.
ME TOO❗❕I like the slow version they played at the beginning of the film.
He looked so cool with that hairstyle & smile & eyes & voice & ...... Elvis had it all .
Absolutely
His hair, black leather suit and the dark room. It compliments his eyes. He looks like a fierce panther. So sexy! :)
Elvis. ERA. Un. ESOETACULO. Amo. Si. Elvis
Out of the chaos, he is the landmark in music evolution 💗
Elvis is beyond perfect. Elvis didn't need a t shirt. Just a jacket. Cool beans brother, cool beans.
I just watched the movie, and I didn't know much about Elvis, but now he's gained another fan.
What a legend, a total fan for life in Ireland, Love you King,
I wish you could come back Elvis even just for a day. RIP Angel.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
he was only 33 here , such a beautiful man
