Thank you for the Cardo coverage! As someone with a better connection to the company than just us consumers, can you please pass along a feature request? I have a Packtalk Bold, and while tempted by the Edge, I will not upgrade until their com units can support more than 1 stored device per bluetooth pairing slot. Slot 1 pairs to your phone, and that's fine. But pairing slot 2 to your motorcycle dashboard really needs to be able to store multiple devices (like your phone does). Say you have more than 1 bike with bluetooth? You have to re-pair every time you change bikes. Or pair with your nav unit if your bike does not have an electronic dash with bluetooth. Being able to store multiple bikes/devices in slot 2 and connect to whichever one is on would be infinitely useful. And to my knowledge, Sena does not do this either. Cardo can be first to market with it!
Cardo is from Israel. All development and testing is done there. All products are built in Ukraine. Planning to do a tour of their testing and R&D facility.
Hello friends, I have the pactalk bold model. My problem is that I can create groups in DMC mode. I can join groups, but I cannot start and end calls in groups. I reset the factory settings. I reinstalled the software but I couldn't solve it. Does anyone know the solution?
If you're wanting to have nice clear 2-way conversation between 2 motorcycles then that's a tall order, and probably not solvable cheaply. We use the Ejeas Q2 intercom system and it works great, up to a mile away. But it is nearly $100 for the set :( The good news is, they will pop into nearly any existing helmet you already have so you don't need to buy new helmets. Just check yours to see if there is enough space beside the ears for the headphone inserts, which are about 2" round and 1/2 " thick each.

Hi I checked , the code didn't worked for edge which is on sale now. I tried for neo which is not on sale but looks only 10% off. Maybe if you are able to login to US based site you can verify. But no worries for me for 5%. Thought would share with you either you correct info or you check cardo for that.

@@LongWayHome Thank you for the fast reply. I had heard rumors that the mesh network was different and not compatible. I’ve looked for information on the Cardo website but have been unable to find anything definitive.
I have 2 Packtalk blacks. Don’t use them. Why you ask? Can’t use them with CB as they have a funky fade in over time that takes 3 seconds to clear by which time you miss most of the conversation. Sena 30k works great though. Shame. Gonna fix that Cardo? Poor design choice.
I find that my Cardo PACKTALK Bold isn't loud enough even at maximum volume. Once i take off and get any sort of wind it just sounds like background music.I can barely make out any lyrics to the songs i'm listening to.
Make sure the speakers are as close and placed exactly where your ear is , a small adjustment to your speakers inside your helmet makes a huge difference!! I use my Cardo with earplugs on arai helmet (that is known to be rather noisy than quiet helmet) with no problem … but only after I adjusted the speakers using those pads to bring them closer and changed their position until optimal … Good luck
Also check the settings on the phone. There is a bar slide who setts the music volume compared to intercom volume in percentage, krank it up to 100% and your'e fine. Had the same problem and was really disapointed, now I'm happy🙂

Own a cardo way overprice better than Senna but still way too expensive for things the are basically not high tech very basic … customer service really pour
waaay over priced just like senna. these things are not complicated like they would like it to appear. a walkie talkie with bluetooth will do just the same with a couple of miles of range. we need more players in this market that want to create some real competition.

When we can bluetooth mesh with any other brand headset that also has Mesh then we’ll have what is needed.
Still no update to the best headset the packtalk slim.

What waterproof class its the cardo edge?

Do the packtalk bolds talk to the new magnetic model? Would all riders need to upgrade..?
Bold and Edge are both mesh so they can pair easily together.
Why didn’t they go over the Neo?
It's 8am EST on 11/21. The code doesn't work when trying to buy a Packtalk Slim. 😒
For the Slim the code was good for 15% off, but they have their Black Friday sale now which already gives 15% off for the Slim.

Ok. Tried it now with delivery address in the US (for the Edge). From $292.46 to $272.97 so it seems to be working there as well.

Yes. They are both mesh so no problems.

Bold is mesh 1.0. Edge is mesh 2.0. Matters none, they are still 100% compatible.
Cardo is good but the price is nuts.
