Job interview prep is key! Enjoy this little beauty!
It breaks my heart so much that Andrew is still not getting 1m subs by now. I landed 2 of my dream job through your contents and now onto my third. Advices are still relevant and useful as ever. Kudos to you, Andrew!
Don’t let it break your heart. I don’t think about the number. Each person who watches is a real person, with real aspirations and real problems. As long as I’m helping you, that’s all that matters!! It’s not about the numbers. It’s about the relationship!
This is the bread and butter of the interview process, thank you, Andy!!!
EXHAUSTED!!! hard to remember allllll the things YES😓
You got this!
Hi Andy, sharing my good news with you, just landed a VP role with lessthan 2 years as director. I would like to thank you for all the advice from interview, salary neg, knowing the bullseye and showing value. I learned so much! I was prepared every step of the way. Thank you so much, you’re the best!
Could you please help by highlighting which of his videos are a must watch, I follow his instructions too but he has way too many videos to refer to 😊, Thank you 🤗
Andy! Keep going! You are the best in this field. You pack so much valuable information in each video. Thank you so much!
Go go go!!!!
I love your content so much! I have chosen not to follow other coaches like yourself because I feel that your information is the best information. I have seen some conflicting points before, and your "way" always works out. I am also on fishbowl often, especially for my own company. It's a large worldwide corporation. As you can imagine there are often questions about how to interview or how to negotiate, etc. I send them all to your UA-cam channel to start off. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is invaluable.
Thank YOU. So nice of YOU and I genuinely appreciate that!
Andy! Quick tips for my seemingly final interview on Friday with a singular executive? I'm all prepped to talk business impact and provide context. How do I know I'm ready?
Hi Andy, thank you so much, your information is very useful. In 2018, I took the bold step of leaving my job to start a business supporting other enterprises, achieving considerable success. Unfortunately, the pandemic led to business closures, resulting in the loss of my venture and significant investments. So, I transitioned to a new job, but contracting COVID-19 led to a health setback and the loss of that position. Despite my confidence and years of experience, the job market has presented challenges in securing new employment. During this time, I have engaged in volunteer work to contribute to the community.
Loved your detailed tips. However, would like to add based on working with multiple international organisations is that it's not a good idea to associate every question with one situation. By being prepared to associate various questions with more than 2 stories would reflect that you as a candidate have gone through multiple situations at hand and have learnt & dealt with it with diversity
Hello again! I am back in the market for another job and have time to be picky. I really want to work for a company that does not have international travel restrictions so I can work remotely from anywhere. When is a good time to ask about their policy here in the offer stage or at the very start? Thank you.!!
Andy,
As per usual, an awesome video. I would love to see you do a video for the second part of interview prep - how to ask questions that make a difference. I am working through this process now, and it is definitely showing results. When the interviewer pauses, and says "wow, that's a really good question" you know you have them hooked, and you just scored some points.
Power-tip - when interviewing for a senior role - make sure you read their press releases and latest 10-q if they are a public company.
Check my video on 28 great questions to ask. It'll help!
@@andylacivita I tailor my questions to the interviewer (using your perfect tips)
Andy, can you talk about the differences between the first and second interviews?
Check my channel. I talk about second interviews!
Hey! I just got here. I'm on my way to a job interview, so I need a lot of advice.
Good luck!
Same, and this video was all I needed to get to the next step 👌 😂
have a question
I applied for a job a long time ago and no response. The option to withdraw is still available on the company's website. Does this mean I have a chance?
Hi do you do one on one coaching
I sure do. If you email us it support@milewalk.com, we’ll be happy to help you.
I have no clue what I want to do for a career. I have spent years even in college trying to figure it out, and I am not set on any career. I’ve tried answering what I like to do, what I enjoy etc. but it still hasn’t lead me to a career. I would like to answer where I’d like to end up, but I just don’t know where that destination is! It is very overwhelming.
Hang in there!
I always enjoy these. I've watched this 3x. However my best aligned story, my only story, that hits a quintessential homerun with my function's highest value in most jd's is one in which I had to work a side deal with my CEO, in order save our 3rd largest ($) customer from leaving. In doing so, cost my boss his job as he had to fall on his sword once I outed his error in judgment to the CEO, because he wouldn't budge to save the customer. In interviews, this always portrays me as a loose cannon, however if we had lost that customer it would have impacted a great many more employees What do I do instead?
to follow @andylacivita words of wisdom "Say it so they get it. Say it so they remember it. Say it so they want it", your story here while valuable to the bottom line and memorable, the hiring organization may "not want it". Possibly look to massage out the portion on your supervisor losing their job for this or select another story where it hits the above 3 points effectively. Good luck and good skill!
