These are some great wheels. I was cross shopping these with Work Kiwami's and couldn't really find much to contest with these wheels as far as quality at that price.

They are +29 offset. I believe that falls into the deep concave, yes. People always worry/ask about the "deep" or "super deep" It's just a way for them to categorize widths and offsets.
They are far from junk. When you equate price to quality without any other consideration, you lose credibility. Makes you sound ignorant. There are a number of wheels that are under $2k that are of excellent quality. There are also many wheels well over $3k that are complete garbage. You sound like you might be the type to buy junk just because it was expensive. Forgestars are very popular across a number of platforms with exceptional reviews. It’s because of their value-excellent quality for a good price.

I got a set for my green GTI in a bronze burst color and they are still going strong after 3 years and I’m still happy with them

Would a +35 offset fit the bbk? Hopefully next set of wheels for next year
Really depends on the wheel actually. Some +35 will and some won’t depending on the angle of the spokes and how the wheel comes off the hub
What concavity did you get? I seen standard, semi concav, and deep concav

I got these lug nuts from motorsports la with the wheels but My actual favorite lug nuts are gorilla open ended. Strong, durable and they look good
