Tips: use an empty toilet paper roll or paper towel to boost items like the candles or tall bouquets to cut down on the "waste" (OCD and $ saver) of rocks at the bottom of your containers. If you are going to keep the container for the long run you can hot glue the roll to the bottom to maintain the structure over time. I used yellow & black split peas for yellow & black bouquets. The paper towel roll gave me a nice center for the flowers and cut down on the amount of peas used for each container. Use wire cutters to clip the popsicle sticks or tongue depressors sticks to save your scissors. You may need to use sand paper or a pumice stone to soften the edges.
I have been watching your DIY videos for a few weeks now and I am hooked. I love me some Dollar tree craft items and it's so cool to learn how to make them even better on a budget! Thanks so much for sharing your gift with the world!
In my area, the Dollar Tree stores are so low on merchandise, they look like they are going out of business. It's frustrating when you want to create something specific. I hope this is resolved soon.
Tanya Karazan I have 3 DT’s in my local area and I have the hardest time finding the things most of the UA-camr’s I watch find as well. Idk if you know that you can order things from DT’s website? You have to buy in bulk on most items but items we use a lot can be worth it. I am going crazy now because I can’t find the Farmers Market Calendar. I can’t find it on their website either. I almost died when I saw Liz use only a small portion of a page from one here in her channel. I have seen many other DIY’s here on UA-cam make amazing and beautiful things with them using all or most of a page. I guess I just feel like if I can copy the words alone with a sharpie or paint, why waste it?
So love all your ideas!! Keep saving your vids so I can go back to them. I am also renovating my RV so your craft on the half flowers pots for the wall is definitely one I will do! Thank you so much!!
I enjoyed your dollar tree hacks. You can use a piece of styrofoam from DT, glue to bottom of container and cover with Spanish moss to cover. Stick stems in that. It’s more secure!
Yep... my list was so long, I was overwhelmed! I decided to concentrate on one project’s supplies. Except I was still like a child in a candy store... where to look? 😀
Lol. Small world. I am sitting on my porch in....wait for it, ALTON, IL. and wish it wasn't 10:30 PM so I could go to the Dollar Tree in E Alton where that Walgreens used to be on Broadway. I will probably go tomorrow.
These are great ideas, I have a cat and worry about poisonous plants. This way I can have both plants and cat. And not worry if he chews any of them. Just buy a few extra picks in case he does. You should be on HGTV with all of these wonderful ideas. So easy and inexpensive. Also great for teens and people who can't sew at all. Thank you, and God bless you.
I'm going to make the rope baskets! I've been wanting to and watching your awesome video has me all inspired! 🤗 I just found your channel tonight .. love this video! 😊
Love Moose! I've collected reindeer for decades and most of my Christmas ornaments are reindeer, including the tree topper. About a month ago, I was watching a series of UA-cam videos of a woman RVing through Alaska and she went into a store where there were souvenirs and there were some moose souvenirs and it suddenly stunned me and made me feel ridiculous to discover that most of my "reindeer" are actually MOOSE! There's even a 'reindeer' that says, "Merry Chrismoose!" Duh. Man, did I feel like an idiot. But they're still in the deer family so now I collect moose AND reindeer. LOL But YOUR Moose is, I do believe, the most precious Moose I've seen!
I always feel I am creative until I watch someone like you and then I'm just Awe! I love these and do a lot of Dollar tree projects myself. Thank you for sharing!
I love all of them ❤️ thank you for all of the time and effort you put into making these videos and sharing with all of us!!! I enjoy watching and getting inspired. I love fall so I can't wait to see what you have planned for those DIY's!!! 😍😍
On the planters, shackle is a product that water will make it melt. So your paint made it so it won't, but for those who like the plain spackle look, seal it, or don't use water so no living plants.
So you dip the tissue paper into the glue but put a little water with it to thin it out and then put it on the pots you could cut material up little pieces and make like a quilt on the pot we've done all those things in the years past the tissue paper does look good on the get a big pack for the dollar store and tear them put it on faces different colors that used to clear shellac it I still have one from a bed 10 years ago all right hun let me know how you like it
That's the third one I like the one where you cut it and turn it into two plants rooms and put plants in it that was a great idea everything you make looks pretty easy I like those rocks to thank you for sharing I enjoyed your video
How do you make the ends of the rope look so clean without a bunch of hot glue showing where you have to stop it from fraying when you start a new string of rope? I'm just starting out and can't figure this out! Very beautiful work!
A great alternative to hot glue on fabritac glue. It’s flexible and very strong. It also dries quickly and bonds strong. Just a suggestion. Great ideas. 🌹
about a year ago, I was obsessed with straw trivets & accumulated a bunch of them from Ebay. I made a gorgeous wreath out of some, & plan to do more. BUT, do you have any ideas for using them for something farmhouse-ish? Or just updating them? In the old days, we just hung them on a wall, but that's outdated, now. Anyway, thought you might have an idea or two. Thanks!
Definitely making the rope tray! I need to find the DT clear plastic tray. Does anyone else watch these videos with a note pad next to you to jot down supplies needed. Lol 😆
Hi. Im new to your channel. I loved the plant holder The very last one. Only.. i couldnt make out rhe the white on white. I hope to see that one again. Amazing. Thank you..
Thank you for knowing why I said that! It is so disheartening that women are not paying attention. I think SCOTUS called this one wrong as well as Citizen's United!
On #10 I would have put mod podge over the stickers so they stay put cause over time they will fall off and if you turn the heat on in the RV they will fall off. Same if you get moisture in there.

New sub! First I loved all the projects in the vlog. I appreciate being budget friendly. I'll be placing an Amazon order and heading out to a Dollar tree and Walmart for supplies ( weekly outing) I'll definitely have plenty to keep me busy during my covid staycation!
Liz when you do your rope trays how do u put the black flowery design on it?. I've seen yours on your wall but can't figure out how you did it. Can you help me with that. I've made 4 so far.
Girl...YOU Have Some Awesome, Low-Budget And Creative DIYs Here!!! Not Sure How I Ended Up Here...But, So Glad I Did!!! Newbie Has Subscribed!!! TYFS!!! 🙂😍
Really liked your skills and all stuff . I Just want to know that for how much money we can sell them and where we can sell all these items to get good price?
I usually can't empty a can of chalk spray paint, plus, if you think you've shaken the can enough do it some more and again or you wont get consistent color!

I know mine sucks.
Same here! I can go to 5-6 different Dollar Trees in different towns and can't find nearly half the stuff that I see here and on other DIY's. 😢
Go online dollar tree got it....
@@teanettabrandon2403 Very true but many items have a large unit you must buy. Hard to do when finances are real tight. 😕
@@HanksGirl98 try do local thrift store or Family dollar or dollar general. But things will get better I hope....
