- Today Samantha and John sold their home and handed over the keys. Samatha has lived in the house all of her life and wad even born in the house. Samantha has cried at all until today when it hit her.
Sad when you have to leave so many memories behind. Now you have to look to the future to make new ones. I hope your seach for a new home won't take too long.
Thank you very much. I am sure we will find that dream home, the story book has now closed in Tamworth.

Sad day but like you say on to the next adventure!
It was sad, I (John) also felt a bit emotional but not at all like Samantha who knows decades of history there. We are now looking forward to the new chapter.
@VintageRVAdventures yes its a big attachment. When my parents moved from our family home it was a sad time also. Let's hope you can find somewhere soon

Thanks both. Samantha was quite upset yesterday, but today is another day and she is fine this morning. Our search for the perfect dream house and land project is continuing. We don't have any rush as we have been given a house to live in by a family member, until we find the right place for us.

Never been in this position, always moved about with my parents, then in military quarters. Now in our own place for 23 years not sure how it would be to leave.
Samantha was really close to her mum and that bond and the time spent living there brought Samantha very closely connected with the house. But, Samantha is at peace knowing that her mum's ashes are buried at the house, so the memories sort of live on for her.
