....and less fun piloting the plane. I guess it's ok if all you want is to take pictures from above and you find piloting the plane a chore. I personally like flying things for the sake flying them....for fun.
@@toolbaggers We all love to fly, that's why we do it :) I also started receiver only on my own depron made planes and learned to fly this way, it's more primal, not purer. If you want to fly like with simple receiver - it's OK we have passtrough and manual modes. Manual is the same like using only receiver. I don't get it how not having FC is more fun, except that is maybe like ~60g lighter and 20$ cheaper. FC is being smart. If you want to fly manual - go manual, wanna chill go cruise, wanna fly strong winds with heading assist- go Acro, wanna go home - switch RTL. It's superior man in every way. Having OMG switch is priceless, not to mention info like voltage, rssi, altitude, speed, osd.... Fly in fog, fly in clouds, fly at night, fly long distance, fly high all thanks to STM32. Back to our love, I prefer spending more time with it and having a helper on myside to coop with it, rather than have one night stands with it and 10x nights in the garage. Cheers,
@@toolbaggers well, yes and no. First, some people like me started with drones a long time ago and I especially liked the stabilisation with gyroscope AND accelerometers. Now, I'm more into planes of all kinds, but small (less than 250 g for most) and the issue is ... there is often wind on the field ! But with stabilization, I can fly them even with 40 km/h wind and "buzzing the tower" (more speed sensation) with no issue except some altitudes changes with some gusts. I would be very disappointed to come to the field and break stuff because light planes and gusts.
I love this! I have a lot of quads spare receivers and flight controllers but no receivers that have servo outputs. I just bought an RC sailboat and I'm going to use this info to put a flight controller in it. Thanks!
Hi there I have a inav flight controller for swordfish rc plane but I can’t control twin motors with my transmitter but can you make video step by steps how to able to work twin motors I only choose airplane v tail in inav configuration software
This is great. I'm not using an fc but I have a bunch of spent 4in1 ESC from quads and I want to connect it to my flysky rx in a fixed wing. Right now I'm using it on sbus. I don't think I need to set it up as pwm bc I'm using sbus but I'm not sure yet what I'm doing. This is my project got the week.
Most plane receives included gyros and accelerometers nowadays. Some even have advanced features for beginners using other sensors for return to home and other things like geo fencing and auto landing. This is all contained in one little PCB. The only thing it can't do is OSD but it can send telemetry data that you could read off you transmitter. I have an ultra micro plane with 6 axis stabilization (gyro + accelerometers) BEFORE quadcopters even came out. It has a tiny board that has a receiver, ESC, BEC, stabilization and 2 linear servos that weighs less than the cable needed to wire in this FC. Nice side project!
Yes, I see many new planes with all those characteristics, what I love about an FC is the ability to customize the software and modes, it's really cool.
You have to use all of the advanced features like the GPS, OSD etc for this to be worth the money, weight, and complexity. If all you want is stabilization, you can get a 7 channel rx for under $30 that is lighter, and less cumbersome than using a separate FC.
You mentioned one could also use flightcontrollers to control rc cars or boats. Can you tell me with wich firmware you would do that? I'm into drones for 5 years and curious if I Could use some parts to make a rc car with two brushles drone motors and props.

ArduPilot can do that. ArduRover is the project of that team that does cars for example.

sim. Ajudou muito a compriender esse novo mundo dos controladores de voo. Obrigado
Since my first pixhawk with all rtl, stabilize, cruise and so on I put FC on all my planes. Less crashes, less lost planes, more capabilities.

This is what I need right now. I got Omnibus f4, the one without a current sensor
Me to should have bought f4 with current sensor , i made the same mistake
@@karlsonsjekabsonsneiburgso4271 then you need to buy Omnibus f4 Pro v3
Thanks for the view. I'm looking around to learn where to start in this hobby. I need a radio controller and wonder what radio you had here?
would this work if i want it to be a FOUR engine airplane ? with a quadcopter ESC for 4 engines in one ?
Great Video hermano
Great video ... Thanks for this
Very good explication e Very simple that configuration 🤩
possible to show ur dump and diff all output from inav
great keep sharing :)
Thank you, I will
can you put crossfire rx to this fc?
you can use you radio to tune the model without fpv equipment
Very cool 😎 keep up the innovatio👍
GOD bless
Yes, i use for capable rc planes
hi what FC is that?
Nice video, although not sure if the Heading hold can work without compass/gps.
Me neither but I was testing it and I saw a difference in the way it was behaving.
For the love of God use a lower Kv or a smaller prop! I burned through like five motors before realized there's a chart for Kv to prop size!!!
Didn't you see the video? It's all the spinners fault!! He is a quad guy.
I was really wondering about flight controler on plane types , thanks
Bagaimana agar jarak jangkauan remot lebih jauh?
How can I contact the esc?
Will this work with ibus or ppm
Yes if you're using the flight controller

@ thanks for your response.
ardupilot can do pretty much any vehicle type
Very good video but not for beginners.
HEY!!!! You need to be the first to setup an autonomous SWARM based dog fight scenario between two ww2 models. Think about it...

Remove your props before you start messing around with configurations.
It's for lazy people that don't want to learn how to fly.
Doing something like this is more for people who don't want to fly in the circle all day
