- My buddy who owns @JMLRecording wanted to interview me...Idk I'm just a hopeless synth addict who has had hardware synths since '99. Synthesizers are not just tools in my eyes, they have certain organic qualities.. Yeah I need help😆. Also Im considered a bit of a synth snob and thats ok. I probably am. Ive tried to represent most types of synthesis out there in my collection.
This looks amazing!!!
Yes observe the ramblings of a synth nerd
Whoa I didn't know m/p did cross mod and fm.
Makes awesome gritty distorted electric guitar sounds
That sounds awesome
The MP is an amazing synth. It has been the meat and potatoes on a bunch of tracks. With a little sprinkle of some fX some huge nasty gnarly basses come out of that machine
Yep sold a Roland TR-606 to survive
yeah man we all have our stories of gear sacrifices. but you cant eat resistors and transistors...😆
Thought SynthSamurai is the real synth-guru…just joking 😉
btw a MonoPoly for 99 bucks in 81? …I beg to differ, it’s about a grand!
idk...I didnt call myself a guru. But ive been synthesizing since before people used computers for music. There's room for all of us to be gurus...😆
@@hanzvolt …then you’re in good shape for 55+/- and we've something in common: I started synthesizing pretty early too with a SCI Six-Trak and a Crumar DS-2 but to smart ass a little: Kawai R50e was released 1988, an Atari 1040st 1986 and C-Lab Creator 1987… So some people used a computer before to make music including myself… Some even earlier than that: ua-cam.com/video/svxN-fnxfQA/v-deo.htmlsi=JpZMAyTbGOBJoXuF 🖖
