I have it! It does also make great use with Festool routers and guide rail adaptors too - very very handy for many (short) routing applications instead of the “long” 800mm rail 😁! And yep, it fits in a toolbox or Systainer too🤙
The evolution saw comes with these short rails already - lots of people say what is the point of them. I have always used one for that purpose so that the track doesn't need shifting.
Rail shuffle stop 2 thirds of the way up leave the saw and blade in place and with your other hand slide the rail forward 9 inches to the mark you already made at the end. It's a lot easier and cheaper as well as time efficient. I use 2 1300 rails now and don't even shuffle also makes it easier to use my underhung rail clamps

Shifting the rail will always reduce accuracy, no matter how insignificant.
