Nice review! I've had this bag for about the same time and mine is still in fairly good shape except for a few frayed edges that I burned off to keep from getting worse. I don't ride a bike, but do use it daily for work and also on a few overseas trips. The molle has proven useful for me in attaching external admin pouches for organization and added capacity, and I was able to hack a waist strap onto it with some grimlock hooks on the front molle, running something like a luggage straps through those with the buckles closing in front. Great bag for the price but definitely room for improvement. Hate when the buckle gets caught in the front pocket too haha.
Glad it was helpful! I've finally retired this bag as my daily carry. I'm now using the Kosan convertible shoulder bag backpack, which I think better suites my needs. I'll make a review of that one soon!
Hello Isaac, if that bag last 4 years real use it's got to be legit. As often as companies revamp their product line though I'm curious if this one would still be available in their catalog.
Yes, it's a pretty well-constructed bag, with just a couple of weak points. It was a good buy, for sure, and is definitely still available in their catalog.

Yes, it's been a great bag, especially for what it cost! Cool idea about the waist strap...
Great video, in-depth review. Thanks for giving a quality break down on the pros and cons!

Love the review. Timbuk2 packs are tough, I do have a Madrone and I'm still using it, it's been with me for 4 years now. +1 sub 😊
Great review. Today is still a decision day between a Spire and this. Strong lean towards the Spire though.
Glad it was helpful!

You can get a molle waterbottle pouch.
Yeah, s'pose that's true...
