- Join us in Lisbon! After 3 month in Asia @gregorsnell and I are finally back in Europe and are loving it. Cobble stone streets, rooftop terraces and Portuguese food & wine for the next 2 weeks... it could be worse! :)
Lisbon was voted the number 1 city travel destination in 2018 and having only been here once before, we desperately wanted to come back. Portugal's capital is vibrant, sunny and Pastel Nata is about the best pastry dish in the world!

Nellie Winter I expect it was, I only had a day and a half as I was on an educational cruise at the time, so I was with a large group of people and didn’t really do much exploring, as I recall.

Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on how you find the cost of living compared to your time in Alicante and also other parts of Europe you have travelled to. Hope you had a good birthday and nice to see you back vlogging
Thank you!! Its good to be back! 😉 The cost of living is very comparable to Alicante, yet the rental costs I've been told are higher and in high demand...

Nice video Nellie! And glad you’re enjoying PT. Little suggestion, you should take a cacilheiro which is a boat to Cacilhas (Almada) in the other side of the river. There’s nice coffees and fish restaurants and great viewpoints over Lisbon. I’m also flying to Lisbon next week and really looking forward to it!

Nellie Winter the boat crossing is only 10 mins and bad weather is great to create moody photos. Having said that, I certainly hope the weather improves when I arrive later in the week 😀 Good luck with your visit!

Nice! Should be similar weather on January, between 10-15 degrees and hopefully sunny. We are having some nasty rainy days but also beautiful sunny ones 🙂

I would love to visit Portugal someday! Lisbon looks absolutely beautiful, and the food looks good too! With the nice weather there, I would feel at home!

Lisbon is really a beautiful city.
Unfortunately I haven’t seen the city of Lisbon, only the airport on my way to Evora, one hour east of Lisbon.
