  • Customizing Service Options is a great way to create upsell opportunities and improve the customer experience. Now you can charge an extra 15 cents per pound for Tide, customers can now customize their laundry preferences by tapping on the options they want, and he software remembers their preferences.

    Does curbside help with advertising which to me is about 95 percent of the whole game.

      We offer help with Google Adwords to folks who are using websites made by Curbside. That helps us streamline it so we can offer pay per click advertising at a reduced cost.
      That being said, your best source of new customers is organic search results. That way your customer acquisition costs go DOWN the more people who click on the link and you never run out of advertising budget.
      Most of our new customers at Super Suds is from organic, but we still get a lot of new customers from Paid advertising too.

    I'm torn about Laundroworks' new owners. I thought I'd found the best partners possible with Curbside Laundries and Laundroworks, then Laundroworks sold out.... I don't know if I will trust my data nor do I foresee combined dashboards soon for laundromat owners and operators. WTF. What do we do now?

      Laundroworks is a good system, very reliable and I like the centralized kiosk/paystation. At our laundromat, we went with CCI's new Flex RF system. It has the benefit of the centralized payment system, distributes the loyalty cards, and lets customers tap to pay at each machine. Our revenue went up significantly after we switched to the Flex RF system. In my opinion, CCI's solution has THE best color displays, which gives your washers and dryers an upgraded customer experience vs a 'dot matrix' display.
      Curbside is currently developing API integration with Laundry Boss's payment system and we are in talks with CCI to expand our current integration in order to connect the attendant's machine spend to each individual order. That will help reduce fraud.
