What the author of this video doesn't understand is that in their time, these cars weren't as slow as he thinks. All cars (due to federal government regulations) were CONSIDERABLY slower.
I owned the 78 King Cobra in the blue color. No it wasn't a true muscle car...but it was fun ..and I have tried to buy one today and a nice 1 can cost you over 10k
Absolutely, the '68-'71 Road Runners were true beasts on the road! 🏁🚀 Those years were all about speed and raw power. The later models did tone things down, and you're right-they definitely shouldn’t be lumped in with the same performance reputation. Thanks for keeping it real! 👊
This is very inaccurate. Mustangs have bever been muscle cars. They're all pony cars and the Mustang II was a sales success. If we're talking about flash and stickers with no go where's the '77-78 403 Olds powered Trans-Am? Talk about a good looking dog. As for the Capri, the turbo 2.3 was rated at more HP than the 255 V8 available. The N/A 2.3 was rated at 88HP, not the turbo version. Plus the Capri is mechanically identical to an '80 Mustang so it too should be on the list if they were actually muscle cars.
12:56 It's an R-Slash-T. LOL! When are you content creators going to open your eyes (Ears), stop being so lazy and actually narrate your videos instead of using AI? The only thing people remember about these videos is the BAD narration and not the actual content. Not exactly the right thing to be remembered for.

If I had any one of these cars in my garage, I would be very happy.
Uh.....I'd be much happier having it on the road!
I want a pacer to make a greenhouse out of

Want a dodge dart to drive
Get it right. The Mustang II ran for 5 years, not 4. 74-78
Wish I had a "R slash T".
Road Runners from 1968-1971 were some of the fastest cars out there. Later years were not so do not brand them the same.
