Nice grade of gold. I can't help but wonder how much fine gold may be associated with the coarse that we see but may be lost during the processing. Any idea?
No idea at all but that's what makes your videos appealing. I have been hearing that folks lose more micro gold than what they actually get into their snuffer bottle. I built my own rock crusher and just started making a shaker table.
A shaker table may do a good job of concentrating, but I have had poor success with getting clean gold except with the design I am working on. You will have to wait till I file the patents before I give out any details. :-) Hand panning cons from a production set up can get VERY tedious unless the grade is very good. You might have your friend with the coarse gold watch my video on panning micro fine gold and then try it on his tailings though. I would be interested the hear the results.
