    Hi Jeff, I hope you are feeling better. I really do enjoy your videos. My uncle was a geologist and professor at San Jose State. He had kinda a funny view about time. He would say something about 'those hills are really recent, only about 5 million years old'. When my aunt asked him when he was going to get a certain task done, he would reply - real soon now! This left her somewhat perplexed about whether it would be done in her lifetime.

    Remember the Show " The Ballad of Buster Scruggs " ...... there was an episode on there called " Mr. Pocket " Its about an Old Time prospector and Mule that goes out into the wilderness to find Gold. He did a great job and we wanted to have him narrate our adventure to the Comstock Lode in Virginia City and he agreed. If you like his narrating skills we will ask him back to do some more ....so smash that like button ....and leave a comment because Mr. Pocket would love to do more shows.

    G'day Jeff, glad to see that you are doing so much better, even nature can't keep a good man down❤ . I just got out of hospital myself, not as bad as it was for you but had a triple hernia repair that had complications. Seeing you sitting in front of all those bags has me envious all over again and am wondering if you'll ever stock the website back up with Slim's paydirt. I just looked through my photos and the last bag of slims I panned out was back in 2016. How are Nevada Jack and Slim going, haven't seen them for a while, hugs and love to the family

      @@Askjeffwilliams that was serious. I had my Uvula removed two months ago due to choking and not breathing some mornings. I asked my surgeon to do surgery under a local in his practice.
      I was the first patient he had do this procedure outside hospital. He's soon to retire a well known loved surgeon a true professional but also a humanitarian.
      So it looks like smiles all around. Mine was a success also. Cheers 👍

    Amazing story, what a find that ore body was. Can't imagine how hard it would be working in those temperatures and in those conditions generally 😖 Those men were tough as old nails!
    Who needs a gym, just work the Comstock...!

      TONY !!!!!!!!!!!!! can you image having access to the 750 miles of underground workings .... and 3000 feet deep .... I try to imaging that from our mine of only 400 feet and think whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat !!!!! they were the toughest and did the umimaginable..... I hear ya ....but I think we would have hit the clay wall the United metal did back in the 80s at the 1500 foot mark. thanks my brother from another mother ..... he said to hold off on the egg shells for a while but bring on the extra spit ...OH YEAH !!!!!
