When I visited Freiburg im Breisgau last year, I got to hear the Hosannaglocke ring, it is the oldest bell in the münster, cast in 1258 and still going strong after 766 years.
Everyone needs to ring these Bells on their phone or lap top, send out these vibrations to get rid of all evil ❤ that's why the churches had the Bells distroyed.
My earliest memory was as a toddler, my mother vacuuming the carpet, and I vividly remember finding fascination in humming along with the sound of the vacuum cleaner. I'd bend my voice pitch up and down, finding notes that clashed with the vacuum hum and other notes that harmonized. When I was in the Navy, I began attending Buddhist temple. The bells, chanting and harmony among a room full of people gave me my first REAL what I would consider spiritual experience in a religious setting. The vibrations, sounds, the trance-like state I reached completely caught me off guard, especially having been in a military setting. Sound and harmony should ring through every street, healing and inspiring the people. May you all find inner peace and forgiveness.
Sounds and vibrations may be beautiful, but for us catholics they have only one purpose- to remind us about God and His worship. When an important person drives through a city, they are surrounded by the sirens reminding everyone out there that a vip is coming. The same is with the bells, they are only a mean to remind us that there is the MOST important Person inside the walls of the church, the true source and spring of healing and inspiration in the Blessed Sacrament.
