I really do like this new band as well as the new unity watch face.
Since both solo loops are the same size, you could lay them flat next to each other to see if the older one has stretched out over time.

I love the braided solo loop bands, there aren’t many colors that seem to pair well with a black case except the new Unity band and perhaps the Black Cherry one
How about a braided band with intermixed light & medium grey strands, or intermixed light, medium, & dark grey ones? needs to step up its band game, so many of the choices are disappointingly drab
I was hoping for a black braided solo loop to drop sometime soon but it never did, but this is the next best thing.

My Size 8 is supposed to be delivered today. Size 8 seems to be a tad snug when I get them but they stretch to become a tad looser. I can actually get my finger between my wrist and the band after they stretch. I don't want a band rubber band tight. They are the most comfortable bands we can get for the Apple watch

Great video Aaron I would love ❤️ to one for my Apple Watch series 7 but this type of Watch bands are not easy find in Ghana 🇬🇭 other than that it’s great 👍.

Has your older black band loosen up at all?
While I’ve been unsuccessfully searching for a charcoal size 11 for 44mm watches, this might do in a pinch.
Same I wanted the charcoal braided on but they took it off the Apple store

I think your other band is not faded. I have that one too and it’s color was Charcoal. It never was truly black like how this Black Unity band is but more of a very dark grey.
I have just ordered the same band - I have a 20cm wrist and don´t like my watches too tight, so I have ordered the size 11. Now I am worrying if I should have ordered the size 10 instead. What is your wrist diameter ? On the "sizing tool" I was bang on the line between 10 and 11.
Just got the band, and for me, that size is absolutely bang on !! A little loose, but not too loose and still able to keep the watch tight enough on my wrist, so the sensors can register. As as said above, I don´t like my watches to sit too tight, so this fit is perfect ......... for me !! 🙂

Yeah, it stands for Apple getting richer. It's not bad, but Apple really gouges you on their watch band prices. Best to wait for a sale. Thanks for the review!

I wear the medium size watch band. Which size you prefer?
These come in a size from 1 to over 10. If it’s the regular watch bands I always have to use the extra large.

You have to go to the apple website. Tap on Apple Watch then scroll down and tap learn more
Unity face. Using Series 7 and OS 8.4. I added the face on my 41 MM watch. Selected the complications and added to watch. Sad that Voiceover was unable to speak the complications on the unity face. No issues with the other faces just Unity. Bug?

The watch face has colors similar to a slice of watermelon. At least that's the way it appears on my watch 7, especially when I toggle the hour markers on. I wonder what Apple's thought process was when it was approved?

The sizing guide is awful with the solo. My wife ordered and returned both the braided and the silicon. We went to the Apple store and we tried on 3 sizes. Ordered the one that fit perfectly. It was much too tight and strangled her wrist. We returned it. The store rep said the demos get stretched out, that’s why it fit. I can imagine the return rate. No wonder only Apple sells them.

Apple 🍎 com. Should make it’s Watch in the United state and not in China, Words are cheap action speaks louder than words.
The Watch would cost hundreds more currently and the suppliers who make everything for it are not in the USA. That is why almost no electronics are assembled or made in the USA. However, once the TSMC factory is finishing in the USA then the apple silicone chips will be made here and you could see more of that.
