This video was presented very accurately and better than most, in my opinion. Also, it gives more of a practical understanding of what Crissy explained about the playlist, which I was so unmindful of. I miss taking the on-line courses with Berklee. I wish I had Crissy as my instructor. Great job on the vocals, Satarra!
Thanks!!
the best 25 mins I ever spent on a video, didn't even skip!!!!!!!!
That was one of the best videos on vocal recording that I have seen so far. Keep up the good work!!!

Outstanding video, instructor, and singer. :) I really appreciate how you explained what, why, and how you did what you did. One of the best instructional videos I've seen. Thank you!
Loved every minute of that vid. Just finished work 12 Midnight UK.

This is IT! The engineer is great at her job she’ll have a very long CAREER! Her knowledge and Workflow is Great! Notice how sooth this session is going! She works really good with the artist, they both know eachothers work space! I love it! Thanks for the Lesson I learned things that I gorgot
Wow, thank you!
Thank you for this video, it's straight forward and I learned exactly what I needed. My recording classes did not teach anything about the harmonies, although I can obviously hear it on other people's recordings, I wasn't sure how to approach it.
I've gone all over UA-cam and Google looking for guidance on recording vocals, and I concur with the comment below that this is about the best video around. Many thanks. Figures it comes from Berklee.
As soon as you layered the vocals it made a huge difference. Made the jump from "amateur" to "professional"
Great explanation and clarity and to the point awesome work!
Learned a lot about vocal production in this short video. Beautiful song, thanks a lot!
First time visiting this channel! Wow, thank you so much for this insight. I used it on my vocals today, and it was so useful! Going to have to do it a few times to get it smoothed out, but I am excited to check out more of your content. I am also blogging to send more people to this so they can benefit from your knowledge! Thanks again! Here's to the chase!

Great work girls, thank you for sharing!
Thanks ma'm. ... for giving important details of recording 😊
Wooooow. Proximity effect completely changes the performance.
Very helpful. Thank you so much
omg! thos helps me a lot! thank you so much
She did a AWESOME job singing that song...I LIKE!!!
Excellent video good practice.....
beautiful presentation thank you
I like her voice, and great tutorial.
Great video learned a lot
great video! Very informative
Love the singer, wonderful!
"This is the central scrutinizer"... I believe Zappa must have making deliberate use of the proximity effect for this specific character; I can't imagine a potential use of the P's in a musical setting but it's kinda fun to think about it.
A great video - very clear and well paced. Think I learned as much about making a strong presentation as I did about recording vocals watching this.
There's a lot of information yet it's paced in a way that its easy to digest. Also rather than static, it incites a strange sense of adventure inviting the viewer to explore and tinker without loosing its sense of direction. Finally despite the lack of humor, the combination of the songs character and presenters body language keeps the tone friendly and casual.
Again, tons to learn here ...
Thank you.........
thanks, very useful ....
It's great. Amazing 👍👌
Where's the complete finish at????
Great video!
very cool tutorial and song. sniger has a talent :)
Is that song, sang by Satara (sp?) available for purchase?

She cold 🥶 thanks for the tips
Awesome tips and presentation! Loved it. Thank you so very much for sharing! BTW, I couldn't find the song lyrics. Is it written anywhere that I can copy from? Thanks again!
I love...everything about this tutorial.. So where do we get that song??
Amazing guys it's useful
Thanks a lot.
Thanks for this
brilliant
Awesome thank uuuuuuuu
Great stuff here! You may be doing this with the vocalist (can't tell) but I find it's much easier to sing more in tune if I'm NOT hearing the original track I'm doubling in the headphones. I always mute the original track when doubling. The key is to rehearse every nuance of a part that is to be layered beforehand. Hearing myself on an earlier take tends to throw me off pitch a bit for the current take. OR you can take off the left or right side of the headphones so you can better hear current intonation as you match performance subtleties with the earlier take in the other ear. That's me anyway. Other (better) vocalists may not have this issue.
they both seem really cool to work with
love it😊...
Which compressor as a gear you are using.
You nailed it.
Which compressor you are goona use while mixing.
I would love to hear the finished project of that song.
That's one catchy song.
Anybody can tell me what kind of mic cable chord is being used on the mic?
