  • Hello there!
In May and June I was on a month long trip trip to South Korea and Japan with EF Ultimate Break! I had a few spare days in-between the two tours in South Korea and I knew I just had to visit as many animal cafes as I could in Seoul as I am an avid animal lover. I was able to visit 5 in two days! These included Meerkat Friends, Cloud with Sky Dog Cafe, Thanks Nature Cafe, Table A Cafe, and Sunnyne Cafe. Thanks for tuning in!

The light brown creature with a stripe down its back? That's a klnkajou, a member of the raccoon family.. They're found all over Central America.

Hi! I love animal cafes too, but I think we shouldn't support the ones with exotic animals because that only increase their demand so the animals are illegally transported since they come from countries where the authorities don't do much to stop it. More of the time they are under stress and it is visible on some of their behavior, also they feed them more than it's necessary due to the clients, another point is that they don't have enough space to move around like they would if they were on the nature (idk if it's their case, but some owl, otter cafes in Japan are an example) Hope you can be more aware the next time! ☺️

Hi Sofia! You have a fair point and this was on my mind when I went. Many of these places had wild animals that I did not expect. In the future I’ll do more research to go to dog, cat, rabbit and other humane places with pets versus wild animals. I do know that Korea has cracked down on animal rights laws on cafes recently and many closed so that is good! ❤
