The best guitar teacher i have come across, Concise and articulate, and very accurate tabs.Hopefully your channel explodes you deserve it.
Thanks a lot Sir...love from India❤
Brilliant Tim!!
Thanks Umesh!
Loving the live outro lick!
The outro is cool! Hetfield's double time part rocks and the arpeggio thing that Hammett plays is awesome.
S'up Tim! How ya been? Great song choice. I'll have to start working on this one now. Congrats on breaking 5K subs too!
Thanks! This would be a great one for you to work on. The leads have a lot of fun stuff.
Best UA-cam teacher 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Thanks man! 🍻
Pretty hyped to learn this one just got a les Paul a couple weeks ago 😁
Awesome! Glad you'll be able to put it to good use. 🍻
good sharing 🙂👍
one of the only videos that has made me grin upon seeing the notification
Hey Tim! Brilliant tutorial
Amazing videos and very well-structured classes! I suggest playing the entire song at the end of the class! It would make it easier for all of us to practice along the song! Could also create more engagement for the UA-cam algorithm.. I guess...
That would trigger a copyright claim which is why I'm careful as to how large my playing clips are. I want to keep my 25 cents per video coming in. Lol. I would have to do that in a separate video. You're not the first to suggest this though so I may look at putting those videos out as a supplement. They might do extremely well in the algorithm too!
Thank you very much for the tutorial! It was very helpful! Although there is a point where I am stuck. At the intro lead fast, arpeggio part, whenever I pull my fingers from the strings they make some noise. Do you need to palm mute at that part, or how do I solve this issue?
Grazie!,🔝🔝👌👌
Tim going to the frayed ends of sanity on this one. Bravo.
Yes. I thought I was 'falling deep into dementia' at one point.
@@TimHolman One of these possible in the near future? Don't Tread on me (12/8) 6/8 feel. (Gets you thinking outside of the 4/4)
Of Wolf And Man - Fairly Straight forward but some interesting composition none the less.
Sad But True- Alt Tuning (mix it up).Fun to play along with.
As you can see the songs above are more of their "Groove Phase".
Cheers Tim Keep up the great work I encourage you to continue to bring up musical theory and explain the rhythms as you do throughout your videos . It definitely differentiates you from the rest.
Side Note. This was the lead singer of Gojira's first song he learned on Guitar. Also his inspiration for picking up guitar in the first place. Many Moons later Lars was his best man at his wedding. Strange world we live in indeed.
@@royalmarine1011 Thanks! It's always good to hear what's working. There's been quite a few requests for Black Album songs. I think I'll wrap up the Lightning album with Trapped Under Ice. I really need to get One done too. Then I'll start jumping around a bit a hopefully get to some Black Album stuff. Cheers man! Cool trivia info too. 🍻
@@TimHolman Absolutely, The black Album has some catchy riffs it is definitely something different and more forgiving on the hands , compared to the The longer faster passages throughout injustice for all.
Also the transcribing isn't as monotonously long.
As usual, awesome tutorial.
I'm learning Hetfield's parts and my daughter is learning Hammer's.
That acoustic intro is deceptively stretchy, my fingers keep muting the wrong strings. But I've got pretty small hands.😅
Thanks! Yeah, the pinky part is where my students have a hard time keeping it clean and smooth due to the stretch.
oh yeah
Amazing lesson. Don't know why every body have the helping tap and chord.
Bonjour tim , super video , très très bien réalisée. dans la version disponible à l'achat est ce qu'il y a également la version en guitar pro ? a te lire , merci par avance.
Yes, the Guitar Pro session is included. I received your purchase. Please check your email and spam for emails from me. I'll be getting in touch regarding the download. Thanks!

Massive! Your beard is noticeably longer by the end!
Hahaha! Yeah this was so epic that I had to shoot in sections.
Like like like! :)
Man, I share all your video lessons with my friends in order to promote your channel. It's my way to give something back, you know? And I always like the videos.
Thanks for sharing man! That's the kind of thing that will really help the channel grow and I appreciate it a ton. 🍻🤘
Thank you very much. I have a question about solo at 11:55 why I can’t play it fast like you or like Kirk ? Is there any secret? Please help me 🙏🏻
I agree that's the trickiest part of the solo. No real secret except the picking. I would recommend copying my picking exactly and then practice over and over to a metronome to ingrain the movement.
@@TimHolman Ok I’ll try. Thanks
1:30:10
Anyone know the picking pattern for AM?
Hey Tim please teach us how to play Enter Sandman, máster Of puppets, damage inc.,battery,Am I Evil?, Harvester of sorrow and trapped under ice please please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I think trapped under ice next then the entire album is finished. MOP songs coming right up after that.
😊
1:35:34 hey man im really having trouble with this part should i just play really slow and work my way up to speed?
Yes, you should always play slowly until you've got it. That's really the only way to train the fingers to play it properly. Also move the pattern around. Don't just play it at the 12th fret. Play it at the first fret, the 7th and everywhere in between. Take the pattern that you're having trouble with and move it up chromatically a fret at a time and do it with a metronome.
@@TimHolman Will do, thanks!
im having trouble with the first 5 cords...….I'm beginning to get discouraged, I think my fingers are just to big? I cant get my finger on a string without it literally touching the top string and the bottom string of the one string I am trying to put my finger on
This is a common problem with this song. When the pinky is used on the A string, it kills the D string and kind of destroys the flow of the riff. Maybe your fingers are too big (I've met one person who's fingers were too big to play a guitar. He would have needed a neck the width of a dinner plate to play his fingers were so enormous) but failing that, it's just a technique thing. I would guess that you're coming down too much on the pad of the finger and not enough on the tip. Your wrist should be quite straight when playing this progression. If it's bent a lot then you will have trouble with finger placement. I hope you don't give up and get it figured out. Thanks for watching!
@@TimHolman thanks for the encouragement. I'm just a beginning guitarist wannabe. But I always start at the hardest things......I wanna push myself with unbelievable hard things
@@justathought7311 I was the same way. I was always playing hard things beyond my reach. My parents would always ask why I didn't play something easy but I just wanted to push myself. You'll get there, trust me. Just keep playing. 🍻🤘
0:34 listen 0,75 speed
You see Metallica lesson... you click like!
The outro solo is honestly a doozy, I really think it might be the one of the most overlooked Kirk solos.
How does he not have thousands more subs?!?!?!?! Insane!
Hi Tim can you recommend me an acoustic around less than 1000 dollars i live in UK now so about 800 pounds,Many thanks.
Thanks!
Thanks a million!
