I don't think a lot of people really understand how much work and stress must go in to slowing these solos down and getting it perfectly note for note, I've tried it with a couple of old Pantera tunes from Power Metal and it left me ready to pull my hair out lol. I think that Chris Zoupa is a smart man because he uses his finger nail to play guitar instead of using a pick, something less to worry about because I always misplace it or drop it due to sweat or I just simply don't know where I left it when I took a break from practicing. Your a genius! I have never been happy with that fast pentatonic bend section and its all because of the extra note in the first iteration. I have never seen a tab with it in there before. Second i added that note nailing that section became so easy!!!! thanks a whole ton!!!!!

I struggled with this part as well, but i can do it now. Focus on your picking hand, make sure you are doing a consistent pattern (its a consistent pattern of notes so your picking should also be consistent) once you got your picking down consistently, just take it slow and keep practicing it until it becomes effortless and then speed it up. Hope this helps or you already got it down by now!

I am really struggling with that pentatonic bend riff at 0.28! I just cannot get it right at anything faster than about 85bpm, anyone got any tips? I've watched this video to see Chris's fretting hand but to no avail... Great job though Chris, as per usual!
how do you play the a at the second string in this riff? I have the problem that the tone sounds over the bend afterwards and this sounds so wrong and incorrect :(
I was struggling with this up till two weeks ago, use guitar pro speed trainer, start at a speed that is slow enough for you to play it perfectly, gradually increase the speed till you reach 100%. Be patient and keep training even if you felt that you are not making any progress, believe me you will be making.
