Really can't stand Florence. A terrible character and unnecessary. I don't know why they introduced her. It would have been better to have utilised someone like Linda who Walter maybe goes out with unintentionally. She was at least likeable (and hot). It also seems highly unlikely that Sylvester would want to date ANYONE after Meghan, and if he was going to, he would pick someone who was more like Meghan, not a selfish person like Florence who displays no affectionate qualities. It seems highly unlikely also that Walter would regress so badly when the show demonstrated genuine character development (e.g. making a song for Paige, trying to learn about social etiquette). To have built up Walter and Paige and then throw it all away seems like very poor writing. I also admire Cabe for sticking with Walter. I really think the problem is the unnecessary introduction of Florence who should at best have been a one off character - maybe some irritating official for that sea garbage episode and that's it. If anyone should have been introduced as someone Walter shouldn't be seeing on the sly - it's someone like Linda (who is hot and they used to date), or perhaps someone who looks like Paige but is a scientist that warrants Paige's concern as to why the hell Walter would want to spend time with someone else. I don't think this was a good season ending, because it pretty much negates the entire development of Season 4 itself and the whole series. I really liked this show and wish it was never cancelled. But they should have let Walter and Paige be. If anything they should have made the "drama" about whether they were going to get married, have a child etc.

Afaik the cast members ended on very good terms with each other, with Katherine referring to them as a 'family' in one last tweet. i see a lot of people complainig about the finale, what you got to understand is that this was supposed to be the season finale, not the series finale, the cast and crew did not know that the show was not going to be renewed.
True, but when they saw how bad ratings were, they should have had an idea that the series wasn't going to come back for another season and they should've gave it a better ending. Either that or make a television film like they did with CSI.
Mitchell Ries cbs hadn't cancelled a fully owned show in its 3/4/5/6 season for years, but they wouldn't lower their asking price for Scorpion to syndicators. Had they compromised and got a deal, the live ratings wouldn't have mattered as much because of the backend profit. This is on cbs not the writers.

Scorpion S5? I mean, it is a possible chance that they will EVER make a comeback. But as CBS said, the show got cancelled for falling viewership. It was worth watching up until you get to S4, the rest of the seasons are alr, but S4 was a total bust. I thought Paige and Walter gets married, Toby and Happy have a baby together, or at least adopt one. And Sly finally gets together with Florence. But, turns out, the thing I *_THOUGHT_* was S4 was actually false, and I was disappointed in CBS and those who didn't pick up the show. It is March, 29 2021, and still no news about a renew. But, I did see something when I was researching about Scorpion's renewal. "Scorpion Season 5 cast" is what I saw, I thought it was a fake, but I suggest looking for yourself. It looks like a total bust and a fake, just for us to get hyped up, but so far nothing. What I saw is Walter (Elyes Gabel), Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick), and some other guy named as "David Fabrizio". And I was like, huh? Is this real? Is Scorpion coming back? Because I saw Sly, Walter, Cabe, and some other dude in the section of related searches in the title "Scorpion Season 5 Cast" but it totally looks fake, is it? Please tell me if it is real or not. Because if it is real, then S5 is coming soon, but if it is fake, then f*** those people who made that section just to hype us up for nothing.

Should have brought back Linda instead of Florence. Ratings were probably hit because of the change of schedule rather than the show itself. Such a shame this didn't start off on Netflix earlier. A better ending would have been the episode a couple of episodes back where Walter is at the table with Paige and Ralph and says (regarding Toby) ' "He should know how great it all turns out to be."
1 more season can fill our hearts with something that can give us closure, but I don't think CBS will ever try to renew the show. The actors are fine with it, but I really hope something pops up and a s5 starts as I am sitting in my room crying and also praying that they will get a new season. It is so sad :(

Even Happy knew that Walter holding out on her was flat out wrong. And this is coming from a person who put up walls on people because she jumped around foster homes and faced rejection her whole life. Her loving Toby and marrying him was the biggest step she took to healing: loving and trusting another person again. Paige was slowly dumping Walter with her last set of words and Walter knew it. The look in his eyes said it all, that he knew he screwed up, and you could tell his mind was racing and he was panicking.

Personally I really think Walter should have told Paige that he went with Florence to that seminar and let her know that nothing happened. I used to watch this show with my mom when she was alive, forgot about it for years, and just decided to check up on how the show ended up doing only to find this... this was the first thing to come up when I looked for the finale.... It's official. Everything that gave me joy eventually rots away until the memory is depressing.

1. I am disappointed in Quintis (even though they are my favourites) because they really weren't effected by the situation but still decided to leave Walter when he needed support. 2. Sylvester I felt was overeating.I get if he was angry at first but he should of realised it's NOT HIS FAULT that. FLO had feeling for him. They both said terrible things but at the end of the day know they don't mean it. 3. The only problem with Paige is that she mixed personal with Professional. She could of had broken up with him and still decided that they could be work colleagues. She knew that she was the glue of Scorpion but she still decided leave. She might not have admitted but she know because people have told her on multiple occasions. 4. I understand Walter didn't mean harm but he messed up. The rest of the team know about Walter's low EQ and still abandoned him. That was shocking for me because based on my information Walter saw potential in the rest of Scorpion when no one else did. He picked up the pieces and helped them when he had no obligation to.Without him they would be dare I say nothing. 5 I feel sorry for Ralph as he became very attached to Walter (being his father figure) and then suddenly he gets ripped away from him. 5. I love Cabe for sticking with Walt despite everyone else walking away. This shows true loyalty ( even he wasn't included it that shares thing) and that he understands the situation. 6. I hate her for opening her big mouth. Maybe if she never moved next door everything would have been fine. I respect her for joining Scorpion 2.0 acknowledging that she know that it was her fault. Khadiza Herondake Quintis had every right to be angry. They warned Walter countless times and he just brushed them off and ignored them. They were so patient with him and kept his secret. Toby explained it to him and told him he needs to tell Paige and Happy kept on telling him to aswell.

Sly also uses the fact that Walter told Flo about the dream against him, when that was something Toby told him to do, so not sure how they interpret that as Walter trying to seduce Flo. Walter was wrong in not telling Paige, even if he only had good intentions, but I feel that as a whole the group overreacted. Getting mad at him is fine, but breaking up with him and leaving the team in such a brutal way and basically saying it's all his fault? Bit much imo!

She told him that white lies were okay, told her that if knowing something would cause her pain she would prefer to remain ignorant and told him that lying to make someone feel good is okay. She obviously didn't mean for Walter to use it in this way, but Walter interpreted it that way. As for Sly, his little speech where he says Walter seduced Flo by inviting her to the team, taking her out and telling her about the dream is stupid. None of that was Walters plan. He invited Flo onto the team because Paige told him to give her a chance, took her to the lecture because Paige didn't want to go and everybody else had plans, and told her about the dream because Toby told him to.
That was a piss poor way to end a favorite series. Thanks to the writing team for F-cking it all up. I can only hope that the writer's and producers don't go on to other show's and screw them up. It is now 12-6-2018 and I'm still bummed about this show being over. NOT CBS FAULT. They had to let it go. (Not a money maker).
Daniel Marinucci I literally just binge watched it on Netflix in the last month or two on my dad’s advice - they even took season 1 off when I was midway through so I had to just read up about the last half and continue watching from season 2. I was totally hooked. When I watched that last episode, I was sitting waiting for the next ep to start then it went to the home screen and I was furious 😂
First episode and I fell in love with these misfit geniuses, and I'm still hoping for this show to be saved. I loved every character, their pun-intended jokes, oh god, Walter and Paige !!!! So bummed. 😭😭 This show may not be a moneymaker, but it's very informative, in a fun way. And what do we get from tv shows nowadays? Mediocre romance, sexy couple stuff, some common teen dramas? One thing's certain IMO, this show did not make it, NOT because it's hard to understand, but because people are too lazy to open their minds to understand.
I’m struggling to see how any of this is truly Walter’s fault. I have never seen people gaslight the f*** out of someone (who also can’t defend himself correctly). 1. Last time I checked people are only responsible for their own actions. Why is it Walter’s fault that Florence caught feeling? Why is it Walter’s fault that Sly had no balls for so long and just kept chickening out? How in the hottest of h*lls is it Walter’s fault Happy and Toby can’t mind their own business and gossip like 16 year olds? 2. Paige is the literal definition of “I’m insecure about my own self and others so I’m gonna take it out on you”. You hear 20 times that he has no feelings for Florence yet trusts him so little that she blows up like this. And what he’s not allowed to go out with friends. Same as how she’s tired of him hanging around her friends and feeling like it’s torture, I’m sure he doesn’t like hearing your comments and complaining about his lectures and intellectual stuff. The fact that he can swallow it for your happiness and you can’t do the same for his says a lot about that character. The FACT that he does all this changing and improving to accommodate her yet she does nothing but b*tch and moan tells me she’s a terrible partner with no ability to compromise. 3. IF TOBY AND HAPPY DON’T MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS FOR ONCE…UUUGGGHHH! If I say something over and over and keep getting asked I’m smacking the f*ck outta you every time I’m asked from then on. If I say such and such situation is not of your concern and that I don’t need the flip floppy shrink and his melodramatic overzealous traumatized but make it your problem wife. You are on point with your comments. The ending was essentially a repeat of the Strife On Mars Episode except the roles were reversed. Amazing how people forget what happened in their life. Walter comes to learn during his hypoxia experience the truth of what happened has been hidden. Ashamed, embarrassed and hurt that the entire team hid this information. He lashes out and fires Paige, holding her responsible. He takes the time to privately do this. On the flip side Paige doesn't want to hear him out privately. Now, I do believe the writers did this purposely hoping for a Season 5.
Why am I the only one who's struck by the hypocrisy here? In S3, Paige and the team knowingly lie to Walter for months, constantly stomp on his heart and his feelings, insert a man that made him miserable into his everyday life and when he reacts badly, they crap on him and make him the villain, then walk out. When he lies at Paige's request, Toby's convoluded advice and ends up failing in an area he already struggles in over a completely innocent and platonic event, they also crap on him, make him the villain and walk out. Walter was dealt a shitty hand. He's better off without them. Cabe shows true loyalty, as opposed to Walter's "Friends" who owe everything to him. Now they'll have to do it on their own while Walter and Cabe rest their backs from carrying Centipede's sorry, unprofessional asses. Good riddance. Definitely hoped to see S5.
I didn't get to see the whole show, just saw it recently (about four months ago) on 16Mystery. If this is how they ended Scorpion, THAT SUCKED OUTRIGHT! Shame on the shows producers and staff for not writing a different ending. Didn't see the writing on the wall here? For Paige to have said she brought Walt this far, and 16 is as far as he could go, was below the belt and uncalled for. Don't understand how Toby and Happy can do this to him. He started the damn team. They walk off, with his idea? Lousy friends.

It was only in the last episode of season 3 when they become a couple so that lacks the full. Story line and syleverst quit over something that Walter couldnt prevent. It wasn't his fault. @@junaidrehman7519 actually Florence is not at fault, why throw Florence under the bus?, She didn't do anything wrong as Toby and Cabe once said (don't remember the episode) "the heart wants what the heart wants". She only went with Walter to the lectures because she wanted to attend them as well, Walter and Florence have a lot in common academic wise, Walter was flirting with Florence, he wasn't hitting on her, she looked at him and liked what she saw in him and wasn't going to change, change is inevitable but the kind of change Paige is for in Walter she can't get, for a high IQ that means walter's brain shows more activity which even suppresses his EQ side, he can tap on it but can't constantly maintain it, that's why his better fit is Florence, she understands him and will love him for who he is not what he'll be. Last point, Walter should partner up with Elia in his company.

Okay so up front, while I always liked him, Sylvester annoyed me the most in this scene. I get it, it was probably hard for him to want to move on after Megan, but how exactly was it Walt's fault Flo caught feelings for him. Basically, while Walter was harsh, he had a point. Sylvester needed to put on his big boy pants and ask her out! He's pissed that he missed his chance and taking it out on Walter Also everyone just sucks here except Walter if I was honest. Legit I've seen episodes where Walter goes out of his way to be a good boyfreind for Paige so she should know how he truly feels about her (seriously, that Valentine's day episode where he tried to make love song for her dismissed it as stupid was really sweet). And yet, she blows up about going to a lecture with Flo (one she turned down by the way). The kiss dream, if Toby (you know the behaviorist and psychologist) said it didn't mean anything then why are they pissy. Not to mention, hasn't Walter literally put his butt on the line to help all of them?
Bro, if you rewatch S1, you find out that he literally gave them everything. He basically adopted Sylvester at 16 years old. He repeatedly declined offers to stay with them and repeatedly got their asses out of trouble, and asked for nothing in return. I could go on for hours on why Walter is the SOLE VICTIM of this show.
One of the most heartbreaking things about this is that after everything they’ve been thru, this fight is so small. If we had gotten another season everyone would’ve hashed by the end of the first episode. Sure Walter and Paige probably wouldn’t have gotten back together until later on that season, but still #damnyouCBSnetwork

This was suppose to be a season finale not a series finale. This is why it seems to be the worst ending in the history of any show. It sure left me in shock. One year now and I'm still in awe.
I don’t think this situation was fair 🤔. Everyone in the team has had off days , but they still managed to pull through. Yes, it was Walters fault, but the way everyone left him was terrible. This was a terrible season finale.

The episode before we saw how the only reason he kept the secret was because he thought that having pain because of the secret was better than releaving his conscience by telling Paige but then she would be in pain.

I don't think this was a good season ending, because it pretty much negates the entire development of Season 4 itself and the whole series. I really liked this show and wish it was never cancelled. But they should have let Walter and Paige be. If anything they should have made the "drama" about whether they were going to get married, have a child etc.
@@JAlberto37 the thing is Walter already made a big deal out of the dream by telling everyone and acting weird around Flo and of course when Paige found out she was hurt/insecure... and then he lies about the lecture and takes the one person he dreamed about kissing🤦 he talks to everyone about it, acts weird around Paige, then tells her half-truths... and all this time everyone warned him! IMO he definetly didn't "try to make Flo fall in love with him consciously", but there was still something, that lead him to ask her, knowing that it'll hurt Paige... I think Walter needs to realize that him having an IQ of 197 doesn't mean that he needs to talk about science non stop and that he is more than just a "genius"... in 2x24 Toby said something like "you're a genetic miracle, so what it doesn't matter" and it's true... that's not what life is about, but he makes every moment about it and like that his relationship with Paige won't work!
It is sad that Walter saved all of them. He gave them a purpose. Then they all turned on him in the end. He sat through all of her relationships. Then she is the one that doesn't trust him. I loved the show, but the last episode sucked.
Respectfully disagree: Walter brought all of this upon himself. Even at the end at the Gettleman pitch he couldn’t even be professional to his now opposing team because all he could think about was that they “left” him for his terrible attitude. A high IQ does not entitle you to treat people like dirt. If he really was sorry for hurting Paige, not listening to his team mates when they told Walter to tell Paige that he went with Florence to that seminar, he would have tried to be nicer. Walter’s EQ may still be dangerously low, but a high IQ should be able to figure out what nice thing to say, even if it’s for the sake of common courtesy

Paige is the literal definition of "I'm insecure about myself so i'll take it out on you". All Walter has done is try his best to be good boyfriend. I mean, not many people would learn an instrument for absolutely no reason other than to make their partner a song. 2- If i repeatedly tell somebody to stop sticking their nose in my private relationship and they don't listen and keep doing it, and it all goes to hell because of that person and instead of helping me, they keep shouting "I told you so." , then they deserve to be treated like dirt. Scorpion went to hell because Toby and Happy couldn't stop gossiping like a pair of 16 year-old girls. Walter trusted Toby with his dream and the next episode, the entire garage knows about it including Ralph. If they hadn't messed with Walter's head then he wouldn't have felt like Paige's feelings could get hurt and would have been upfront with her. 3- If I give up all opprutunities of achieving my goals and dreams just so that you can have a job, a family and a life, and years later, you leave me in my moment of greatest need for some BS reason, start a compamy in my very line of work, with a name that is basically a giant middle finger to me (Centipedes are the natural enemy of Scorpions), and go after the very client that i am going after in an attempt to bankrupt me to get back at me, then you DESERVE to be treated like dirt. The show portrays Walter as if he doesn't care about anyone, and people fall for it in their first time watching the show, but the second and third time when you watch it more objectively, you realize that all he cares about is his team's wellbeing, and they are the ones that actually don't care about him.

Bring Scorpion back and at least make a proper ending. Ryan may be emotional instable but his heart is in the right place , right besides Paige. I love all the actors in this series, they are amazing.
I really love scorpion. I love everyone in the team. In a possible Season 5 I wanted to see how the will growing back together. I wanted to see how page and walter coming back together. How Gallo and Allie will continue their romance. And most of it, I really wanted to see how Happy and Toby are going to adopt a kid and become great parents. This show is great and deserves an ending.
If they don't make a television film to give it a better ending, than maybe they should do a small crossover with MacGyver. It would be great to see two geniuses working together. Maybe Cabe Gallo should ask the Pheonix Foundation to help track down Mark Collins and the two teams (Scorpion 2.0 and Centipede) must be forced to work together along with MacGyver and his team to track them down. While doing that, MacGyver helps Walter, Paige, and the others work things out and go back to being a team.
Toby and Happy were assholes. When YES, they owe a lot to Walter. Sly owes him a lot as well. Bringing up his sister was a trash move. He still acts like he was the only one affected by that. Where to even start with Paige. She is surprised he went to the lecture that she didn't want to go with someone. After she was telling him about white lies like he was supposed to get it. He has no feelings for Flow. Sly blaming Walter for Flo falling for him was BS as well. Paige knew exactly what she was getting into dating him. She has ben a huge bitch to him all the time. To be honest I never wanted to see them together because I knew she would do something like this. Granted in the final scene Walter was being an ass, Paige couldn't help but dig the knife in saying they got the job. Why they couldn't give them 2 or 3 more episodes to finish the series is complete BS. My only hope is that they knew Collins was watching and it was a ploy. Otherwise the greatest character in the whole show Gabe needs to put his foot in all 4 of those traitors asses. It's 2024 and I just binged the whole show. Had I known that was the end I never would have watched.
I mean when on the verge Walter did about 80% of the dangerous/suicidal missions(lowballing the %) yes his team did help a lot but he mostly had the ideas and he performed it, plus with cabe they should have federal work, and have a top tier chemist, Scorpion 2.0 might not be as good or efficient as the first scorpion as they were really close like a family but they should do better than the others
The first time I watched it, I was playing Video Games when my parents finished the show without me. And now today, me finishing it and actually watching the ending, made me feel sad. Made me feel miserable, made me make a twitter account, an instagram account, and a facebook account just to see what the cast crew said about leaving. (Btw I followed them as well lol).

The show was so great, then they made it too unbelievable. Which I feel is why ppl stopped watching. If they looked at rating they should of had a hint it wasn’t coming back. But seriously having Walter “cheat” on paige is awful . The writing in season 4 was awful
Can'tSpell Britt why should they have been worried about ratings? CBS hadn't cancelled a fully owned show in its 3/4/5/6 season for years, but they wouldn't lower their asking price for Scorpion to syndicators. Had they compromised and got a deal, the live ratings wouldn't have mattered as much because of the backend profit. This is on cbs not the writers.

It would have been better to have utilised someone like Linda who Walter maybe goes out with unintentionally. She was at least likeable (and hot). It also seems highly unlikely that Sylvester would want to date ANYONE after Meghan, and if he was going to, he would pick someone who was more like Meghan, not a selfish person like Florence who displays no affectionate qualities. It seems highly unlikely also that Walter would regress so badly when the show demonstrated genuine character development (e.g. making a song for Paige, trying to learn about social etiquette). To have built up Walter and Paige and then throw it all away seems like very poor writing. I also admire Cabe for sticking with Walter. I really think the problem is the unnecessary introduction of Florence who should at best have been a one off character - maybe some irritating official for that sea garbage episode and that's it. very late comment but if you’re very upset about this just do what I did and end it after you watch the Christmas episode in season 4!! Whenever I rewatch Scorpion, I always end it at the Christmas episode where Walter dreamt that everyone wasn’t a team because thats a really good episode ending in a happy note :)
I know it’s been years but I need to vent. Paige and Sylvester were acting like petty teenagers. I was a bit annoyed at Walter but that evaporated immediately, when I saw this. Paige’s EQ isn’t nearly as high as she thinks. Nearly every conversation she has with Walter is her complaining about him, nagging. Why are you dating him then? Why are you friends? Sylvester needs to turn his brain back on. Walter can be friends with Flo, it’s no one’s fault she fell for him. And Quintis…the hell was that. No words. Who WROTE THIS??!
I don’t believe SCORPION was canceled from low ratings! Numbers can be manipulated. Somehow the triangle between Catharine McPhee, Elyes Gabel and David Foster played a part in it. I have all the episodes and watch frequently. I hope to someday have a miracle and it comes back. I will always miss it.
This end sucks: Florence and Walter had gone to a conference. Florence isn't pregnant of Walter, so Paige has no right to be jealous. Walter didn't want to seduce Florence, so Sylvester has no right to be jealous as well. Everything is wrong. Which girl will break up with her boyfriend because he had gone to a conference with an other girl?? It doesn't make sense.
The ending of the show is heartbreaking, and it also makes me (bleep) mad! The show wasn't supposed to end like this, they should have made a season 5 for a PROPER ending and not some "BAD" ending ffs. Walter and Paige split made me think that a s5 is coming, but oh well guess not since the producers and CBS "CANCELLED" Scorpion... smh. So I'm 4 seasons in and on the series finale. I had a feeling about what was going to happen so I had to see it here. Now I can't even watch the final episode. Bummer. There should be a petition to continue the series to 1: Reunite Scorpion, 2. Florence and Sly dating, 3. Walt and Paige back together, and 4. Collins captured.
I need to rant as I just finished and I am the only person who watched in my family... unpopular opinion. I hate Paige. Yes she is good for the team but for all her EQ she has non when it comes to Walter. It's like because he constantly said he has no feeling in the beginning everyone is holding him to that no matter how much he changes. 1.Walter tried to express himself at the crash site but didn't have time, then at the hospital but they weren't alone and he was loopy and she said she was staying so yay I can tell her later. Paige kisses him on the hospital bed but was the first person to deny having any feelings and it being a fluke but then passes the baton like Walter is supposed to confess his love regardless of her saying your not the one. 2.Paige acted jealous anytime he made a move to try to improve on his EQ with someone other than her while keeping him at arms length. She constantly showed that she cared but whenever she wanted to she would non-verbally be like Walter your showing you care too much. 3. When Tim showed up the few time he attempted to confess his feelings to her everyone in the scorpion told him not to because he wasn't ready, he wasn't right for her, she constantly threw their relationship in his face pretending like she didn't know he cared for her. Yes Walter was a little petty a few time during the Tim situation but it was okay for Tim to talk to Walter any kind of way but Walter retaliates. Then he becomes the worst person in world and everything is his fault. 4. When anyone else is hurt it's a big deal. Walter is the devil because he did react a certain way or say the word they want him to say when they want him to say it but let Walter be hurt. Oh he is still the devil but only now its his fault that he is sad. Paige can do no wrong. Find out Walter is heart broken... it's okay Paige it wasn't intentional. Walter fired Paige because of the space incident. Oh Walter come on quit being a baby and grow a pair and confess. Walter doesn't get treated with kindness if he is hurt by anybody. They repeatedly tell him to get over it and always see his wrong but no one else's. 5. Paige never once fully chose Walter. She never had to sit and stew in her feelings for him because he never had anyone serious in his life from the moment they met. Bomb girl doesn't count because even with them dating it was quickly dissolved because it wasn't real. She never had to think about confessing and having real fear he didn't feel the same. On her end everything was smooth sailing except for the road blocks she created. Drew, her denial of feeling, Tim, her failure to find what they enjoy together and not worrying about mirroring their relationship after every relationship she's had in the past and/or see her friend having. 6. Walter really needed his moment to have a blow up or an outburst on how unfair everyone was to him when it comes to his feelings. Was he given some grace? Yes but he did not get nearly as much as they rest of the group got regardless of the situation and especially when it's his feels vs someone else in the groups feelings. 7.Toby can pretend like he is this great doctor and that may be true in some regards but he doesn't take any accountability for when his advice blows situations up. While him and happy was sitting over their pretending they just have it all figured out. They didn't once jump in to help the situation. Walter didn't think he did anything wrong taking Flo until they brought it up at the baseball game and after that is when he started feeling bad and showing guilt markers. Nobody thought to bring that up. Toby told him to tell Flo about the dream. Hell everyone was in the dream but Flo was only in the beginning and never showed up again. Didn't bring that up to Sly. If happy hadn't blown it up getting everyone involved it wouldn't have exploded because she could have told him to tell then and if they didn't bring up the dream again he would have told her quicker. She also went straight to believing the worst of the person they all believe have so little feelings that he is always in the wrong. 8. Paige didn't surprise me with her harsh words. She has been harsh when it comes to her dealings with her feelings for Walter from the beginning. All she could ever see was herself and her feelings. Even when dealing with Happy going everywhere with them earlier in the season. All she saw was her feelings she didn't take Happy aside and see why she was going everywhere and try to get her to understand they wanted some alone time. She went straight for the kill. If it had been Walter he would have been the worst person on the planet. 9. With a change in emotion and feelings you get angry, you feel attacked, you have outburst. We've seen Walter have these moment. When his sister died and a few others. This situation needed it. Even if it wasn't as clear as I would explain it. They could have written a fact filled statement pertaining to Walter himself that allowed him to thoroughly tell every single one of them about themselves. And their disregard for how he has changed and the feelings he is feeling more actively even if he doesn't have the words for them all yet.
I don’t think someone like Walter will have Ray on Scorpion, especially someone who doesn’t have his IQ and is quirky. Walter would tolerate Allie because she’s Cabe’s significant other. He hates Tim because he feels he “stole” Paige from her. He flat out told Tim that he would never have a place in Scorpion. That’s a pretty jerk move on Walter’s part. And his 197 IQ should never be the reason he treats people that way. For Walter, he just needs Mark and Florence. Cabe can be out of the picture. Walter is nothing without Cabe’s connection to Homeland.
Walter deserved what he did for. Hey lied(which himself said there's no reason to lie on previous episodes) when he went out with flo. He put tobis and Happy's life in danger and didn't care multiple times. He also cold shouldered his own father figure when cape was going to jail. Paige helped him thru alot with his emotions even tho most of the times he was dick to her and made her feel stupid. Alotta people saying oh he belived in the team and gave them better life but not really, he always made them feel unimportant because of his ego.they can be happier in Paige's new team.
He lied because he was made to believe it was the best course of action. If he hadn't been told to lie, he wouldn't have lied. Happy and Toby are thirty something year-old adults who agreed to this dangerous job when they signed their homeland contracts, and they put their own lives at risk and Walter always saves them. He cold shouldered Cabe because he was afraid. Many people react like that in these situations, it was normal. Also Walter had put both his company and garage as collateral to get him out of jail when the others just dove into savings or sold unneccesary belongings. Walter has never been a dick to Paige unless she deserved it. She's been a bitch to him for most of the show when he didn't deserve it, and she stopped actually helping Walter somewhere around S2 and just made it into a game of "Make the android human." He makes them feel unimportant because when he tries to be nice, they take advantage of that to slack out on jobs and piss him off, make fun of him and say things like "Paige you have made a monster" or "Walter apologizing is a sign of the apocalypse" or "Being nice isn't your nature and you're gonna snap like a rubber band". Paige's new team is a sinking ship. They all make fun of her because she's not a genius, and she treats them like children because they're not normal, and they all can't function without Walter and Cabe. Walter could hire new members and he's fine. Hell, he was shown multiple times to do their jobs nearly as well as them when they're not here. And i'm sure there are plenty of people more qualified to help Walter with his EQ than a waiteress with an autistic son. Dr. Rizzuto is an example. Quincy Berksted is another. The only reason she actually has a job on Scorpion is due to Toby's incompetence. Walter definitely deserved better than them.

He did not solve every problem they encountered, but he sure did take credit for them when he did that interview. Walter has done messed up things to damn near everyone on the show. You can say it's EQ, but how long does paige have to hold his hand and teach a grown adult? Now with the Sylvester situation, I do think Walter had a point there and Sylvester should have told Florence earlier.

Plus, if Toby and Happy had never interfered and said anything to Walter, Walter would have just told her nonchalantly because he knows he hasn't done anything wrong, and she wouldn't be as mad because of his tone. I obviously agree, Walter makes many mistakes towards everyone, but he always owns up to them afterwards. I would love to see anyone own up to the mistakes they made towards Walter instead of always making it his fault. Also, when you watch the show more than once like I did, you come to realize that he is the only one on the team who is capable of being financially stable and comfortable on his own AND looking out for other people. Toby gambled until he met Walter. Happy had no life and no stability. Walter took care of Sly shortly after he found him. Paige barely made it with Ralph (Although the skills she gained would make her better off if she quit) and Cabe has always worked for the government. If we talk logically: they need him. He doesn't need them. Only Scorpion and the world does. And if, despite his efforts to be better, they're content to make fun of him for everything that he is, he should be content to tell them how useless they are.
Walter helps them at their worse and now just over a girl next door they're just gonna abandon him. If it wasn't for Walter, Sly would have live in that dark apartment and hacking all alone and doesn't end up marrying her sister. For Toby if it wasn't for Walter he would have gotten out of his addiction to gambling and wouldn't have married Happy. And for Happy she wouldn't have a family and married Toby. And as for Paige if she hadn't met Walter, she wouldn't have understand his genius son. I love all of them. But the four of them quiting because of that, I know it's complicated when things like this happened in real life, partners misunderstood but they should have fix it, rebuild it and communicate. Walter was just guilty and doesn't know what to do because its his first time in that situation. Four of them suck for leaving Walter behind. Good thing Cabe stick with him. If it wasn't for Walter they wouldn't have gotten to meet each other. For Sly, Toby, Happy and Paige. I hope you realize that.
THANK YOU. God i hate how he was treated in the last two seasons. and it's even worse than what you say. Sly was a broke-homeless kid hacking banks who was about to be arrested and end up in jail or kill himself to prevent that from happening. Toby was about to be killed by the people he owes debts to if it weren't for Walter. Happy was going to keep moving from one place to another, scraping for a living if it werent for Walter, and Paige was going to keep working two dead-end jobs to provide for Ralph if it weren't for Walter. Literally everything good that they have in their lives they owe to Walter. And he never holds it above their heads. What happened in the end of S4 was nothing short of treachery.
Paige isn’t the only person Walter lost…he just lost his entire team, and he still doesn’t get it. He still doesn’t understand the hurt and damage he caused. He may be choosing not to because people with 197 IQ don’t need to waste time on stuff like that. Well if he keeps that jerk attitude up, he just might lose Cabe too. You can make the choices you want Walter. But no one said they wouldn’t have a cost.
I would think over time, the 2 teams realize they need each other. They both fumble over problems and end up realizing the strengths of what each brought. Walter never reflects in the moment he takes time to reflect. Remember Megan's death? So he would realize his mistakes. But the end actually doesn't make sense: 1. At his core Walter is a fact and truth teller. So he would've come clean with Paige right after he realized his mistake. 2. Why is it that Walter who is this genius IQ leaves evidence for all these things that create issues. (Text messages on his phone about Tahoe, now the tickets.) A proficient hacker never leaves traces hence he wouldn't leave traces. See how pathetic the ending is. Toby and Happy would've used facts not a make believe scenario to explain him telling Paige. Hey Walt remember what happened in space and what did you do when you found out. How do you think Paige will react if she finds out. Tell her. Shows are to entertain not insult the audience. Writers insulted the audience.
To the producers/makers of Scorpion: Please bring them back together. You owe it BIG TIME to those geniuses. You didn't even bother to make them feel complete and to have a normal life, that were denied from them. Have pity on Ralph. He only wants Walter to be his Dad. 😔 😢 😔 😢
Walter can’t be the dad Ralph needs. Ralph is a genius too yes, but he’s a child and he does have more emotions than Walter that Walter can’t be caring and nurturing towards. He’s going to hurt Ralph deeply. There was a time in the show where Walter yelled at Ralph and hurt Ralph’s feelings and Paige got so upset like any mother would. He can’t keep doing that to Ralph.
@@meejoohwang8494 The show started to decline end of Season 2 into Season 3 (I am about 2/3s of Season 3 right now). This EQ/IQ thing was terribly overplayed and they killed the character of Walter because of it. People do evolve in real life but highly intelligent people do not suffer fools. To make Walter a constant roller coaster mentally is pathetic. As for someone who thinks only of himself, consider in season 1 and 2, even parts of season 3 - Walter was a selfless guy. If he only thought of himself - he doesn't rescue Sylvester from a hotel room (instead he would've turned him in getting credit). He doesn't attempt to save his sister's life (failed but he tried). Tobi from a life of certain death unable to pay his gambling debts. Happy from a life of alone. He doesn't jump on and grab onto a train to save others. The same guy doesn't say "Guarantee life for Paige and Ralph". He is also the same guy who tells Paige to swim to the boat after he essentially sacrifices himself to the sharks. Same guy who helps Ray resolve his inner turmoil because he blamed himself for killing his partner. He doesn't volunteer himself up to go into a tar pit to save someone else's wife. From Season 3 they made Walter an unsympathetic victim. Newsflash parents yell at their kids. There are so many times Walter demonstrates care/love and compassion for others. The difference is he isn't conscious of it. One of the streaming networks should reboot the series with a 5-7 part season for closure.

The writers went bat shit crazy about Happy and Toby's baby which told me they were trashing the show so knew something was up. Then came the almighty implosion of a finale. But did CBS move the show to 10pm before the ratings started turning to shit or after? I know in Australia the good shit is finished by 9.30 during the week. Most are hitting the sack after that. So how would moving the show to a 10pm slot fix it??
Scott Barker cbs moved it to 10 to expand their Monday comedy block, and ratings nosedived from there. Not that that would have mattered had cbs negotiated with syndicators instead of refusing to budge from their asking price.

Amazing that Happy and Toby love to know-it-alls about walter's business but cant diagnose Paige's jealousy clouding her judgment, Sly using Megan as a crutch and missing his chance with a woman and the obvious overreaction on both that caused the company to break up.
@@Mysterio1412 Paige didn't break up with Walt because of Florence, she said herself it was about his inability to adapt... and it was visible throughout season 4 how it bothered her that Walt makes everything about his IQ by always lecturing her with science/facts and not being able to let that go for once! Honestly as much as I love them together I don't think Walt is ready yet, in a relationship you have to share your life and for that find activities that both can understand/are interested in... and Walt's entire life revolves around biology/physics/...

The first 3 seasons of scorpion were great, but this last season, especially the last 10 episodes were just so stupid, and this last seen is just so stupid and pathetic, first of all, none of them have any legitimate reason to really be angry with water, the dumbest was Sylvester, he's really gonna say that "he made her fall in love with him", how stupid is that, Sylvester is just jealous that Florence got feelings for Walter, and now he's ready to fight, that's so stupid and not even how they would act, and page is the one who told Walter that he should practice "white lies" knowing that he really doesn't understand, and all he did was take a friend to the lecture, it was completely innocent on Walter's part, page should have understood that, so that's not even realistic, and toby and happy don't have any reason to be angry at Walter, their just jumping on the anti-walter bandwagon, so they all quit scorpion, when none of them have any good reason to be angry at Walter, and they show disloyalty to Walter, because walter gave up a great paying job, for them, the team, so Walter just got crapped on, and it's not really in line with how the characters would act, it's would have been perfect if they ended the series with season 3, but this is just so out of line and unrealistic

@Jennifer Walter is a selfish (not intentionally) person. Quintis always looked out for him and he did not always appreciate their concerns. He was also very mean to Sly during the Megan situation and during the last episode. My Point is, he did his bit to push all the wrong buttons of his team mates, so at a certain point in time, it got too much for everyone to cope up with it. Though I agree on the fact that seeing that as the canonical ending of Scorpion is just sad.

Everyone here justifies Walts behaviour, but at some point enough is enough... there is no doubt that Walt is good at heart or that he truly loves Paige, but more is needed for a successful relationship... he defines himself only through his IQ always talking science, always working (even on Christmas), but in a relationship you have to share your life and for that assimilate... and also is everyone forgetting about all the crap he's pulled in the past like constantly pushing Paige away (eventually in Tim's arms), then sabotaging their relationship and then firing Paige, because he couldn't cope with his feelings!
I hate the ending ! There are so many issues that needed to be discussed and now we can NEVER get to see that. I hate the way they all left Walter high and dry like that. The poor guy didn't know what hit him! Happy and Toby are just being selfish, Sylvester's reaction was stupid and illogical and the worst was Paige because she made it out like Walter cheated on her when he didn't. Yes he had two tickets and he wanted to take her to the science lecture but dammit she clearly said that she'd rather go back to being in the swamp with the alligator instead of attending a lecture with her 'boyfriend'. Dramatic much? C'mon! He took someone who clearly enjoyed the show much more than she would and besides, he knew she would be hurt, that's why he was feeling guilty and not caring about how hurt he was when she made that alligator statement. Atleast Cabe stuck with him because he knew that Walter wouldn't be able to make it through if he lost the only father figure he had in his life. This shows that Cabe truly did love Walter and cared for him like a father should have.
Paige, Toby and Happy are justified. Sylvester was not. Walter lied about the show being cancelled and the proceeded to go with someone who he's had kissing dreams about, and then still didn't tell her after having so many opportunities to do so. It looks super shady and I would have been mad too. He made it worse because she had to find out for herself. If he would have just told her, everyone wouldn't have spiraled like it did. Toby and Happy literally told him exactly what would happen many many times and he just didn't listen. Walter deserved that.
What happens now Walter? You become a more effective and efficient team with the most intellignet people in it now without all the drama and distractions that the others who left brought. Good riddance to those who left I say.

Really can't stand Florence. A terrible character and unnecessary. I don't know why they introduced her. It would have been better to have utilised someone like Linda who Walter maybe goes out with unintentionally. She was at least likeable (and hot). It also seems highly unlikely that Sylvester would want to date ANYONE after Meghan, and if he was going to, he would pick someone who was more like Meghan, not a selfish person like Florence who displays no affectionate qualities. It seems highly unlikely also that Walter would regress so badly when the show demonstrated genuine character development (e.g. making a song for Paige, trying to learn about social etiquette). To have built up Walter and Paige and then throw it all away seems like very poor writing. I also admire Cabe for sticking with Walter. I really think the problem is the unnecessary introduction of Florence who should at best have been a one off character - maybe some irritating official for that sea garbage episode and that's it. If anyone should have been introduced as someone Walter shouldn't be seeing on the sly - it's someone like Linda (who is hot and they used to date), or perhaps someone who looks like Paige but is a scientist that warrants Paige's concern as to why the hell Walter would want to spend time with someone else. I don't think this was a good season ending, because it pretty much negates the entire development of Season 4 itself and the whole series. I really liked this show and wish it was never cancelled. But they should have let Walter and Paige be. If anything they should have made the "drama" about whether they were going to get married, have a child etc.

i see a lot of people complainig about the finale, what you got to understand is that this was supposed to be the season finale, not the series finale, the cast and crew did not know that the show was not going to be renewed.
True, but when they saw how bad ratings were, they should have had an idea that the series wasn't going to come back for another season and they should've gave it a better ending. Either that or make a television film like they did with CSI.
Mitchell Ries cbs hadn't cancelled a fully owned show in its 3/4/5/6 season for years, but they wouldn't lower their asking price for Scorpion to syndicators. Had they compromised and got a deal, the live ratings wouldn't have mattered as much because of the backend profit. This is on cbs not the writers.

Scorpion S5? I mean, it is a possible chance that they will EVER make a comeback. But as CBS said, the show got cancelled for falling viewership. It was worth watching up until you get to S4, the rest of the seasons are alr, but S4 was a total bust. I thought Paige and Walter gets married, Toby and Happy have a baby together, or at least adopt one. And Sly finally gets together with Florence. "Scorpion Season 5 cast" is what I saw, I thought it was a fake, but I suggest looking for yourself. It looks like a total bust and a fake, just for us to get hyped up, but so far nothing. What I saw is Walter (Elyes Gabel), Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick), and some other guy named as "David Fabrizio". And I was like, huh? Is this real? Is Scorpion coming back? Because I saw Sly, Walter, Cabe, and some other dude in the section of related searches in the title "Scorpion Season 5 Cast" but it totally looks fake, is it? Please tell me if it is real or not. Because if it is real, then S5 is coming soon, but if it is fake, then f*** those people who made that section just to hype us up for nothing.

Should have brought back Linda instead of Florence. Ratings were probably hit because of the change of schedule rather than the show itself. Such a shame this didn't start off on Netflix earlier. A better ending would have been the episode a couple of episodes back where Walter is at the table with Paige and Ralph and says (regarding Toby) ' "He should know how great it all turns out to be."

@@Mysterio1412 actually this is Walter’s fault too. If he just listened to Happy and told Paige the truth, it would never have blown up in his face. Even Happy knew that Walter holding out on her was flat out wrong. And this is coming from a person who put up walls on people because she jumped around foster homes and faced rejection her whole life. Her loving Toby and marrying him was the biggest step she took to healing: loving and trusting another person again. Paige was slowly dumping Walter with her last set of words and Walter knew it. The look in his eyes said it all, that he knew he screwed up, and you could tell his mind was racing and he was panicking.

Personally I really think Walter should have told Paige that he went with Florence to that seminar and let her know that nothing happened. But Paige has known that IQ wise she can’t keep up with the others and I’m sure Walter knew pretty well this was something that Paige has always been sensitive about. And just like Happy knew would happen, everything blew up in his face. Walter has to be right about everything. This time his 197 IQ hasn’t done him any favors. It’s true Sylvester could have asked Florence out earlier, but Walter crossed the line when he messed with Sylvester’s grieving. I’m married and I can’t even imagine losing my spouse, let alone remarrying. I bet Walter was using his so called “logic” and IQ as a crutch, so that he would avoid telling Paige the truth. Paige has every right to be angry. If I was dating and my bf went out with ANOTHER girl and didn’t tell me while everyone else knew, I would be absolutely livid.
I used to watch this show with my mom when she was alive, forgot about it for years, and just decided to check up on how the show ended up doing only to find this... this was the first thing to come up when I looked for the finale.... It's official. Everything that gave me joy eventually rots away until the memory is depressing.

1. I am disappointed in Quintis (even though they are my favourites) because they really weren't effected by the situation but still decided to leave Walter when he needed support.
2. Sylvester I felt was overeating.I get if he was angry at first but he should of realised it's NOT HIS FAULT that. FLO had feeling for him. They both said terrible things but at the end of the day know they don't mean it.
3. The only problem with Paige is that she mixed personal with Professional. She could of had broken up with him and still decided that they could be work colleagues. She knew that she was the glue of Scorpion but she still decided leave. She might not have admitted but she know because people have told her on multiple occasions.
4. I understand Walter didn't mean harm but he messed up. The rest of the team know about Walter's low EQ and still abandoned him. That was shocking for me because based on my information Walter saw potential in the rest of Scorpion when no one else did. He picked up the pieces and helped them when he had no obligation to.Without him they would be dare I say nothing.
5 I feel sorry for Ralph as he became very attached to Walter (being his father figure) and then suddenly he gets ripped away from him.
5. I love Cabe for sticking with Walt despite everyone else walking away. This shows true loyalty ( even he wasn't included it that shares thing) and that he understands the situation.
6. I hate her for opening her big mouth. Maybe if she never moved next door everything would have been fine. I respect her for joining Scorpion 2.0 acknowledging that she know that it was her fault.

Khadiza Herondake Quintis had every right to be angry. They warned Walter countless times and he just brushed them off and ignored them. They were so patient with him and kept his secret. Toby explained it to him and told him he needs to tell Paige and Happy kept on telling him to aswell.

Sly also uses the fact that Walter told Flo about the dream against him, when that was something Toby told him to do, so not sure how they interpret that as Walter trying to seduce Flo. Walter was wrong in not telling Paige, even if he only had good intentions, but I feel that as a whole the group overreacted. Getting mad at him is fine, but breaking up with him and leaving the team in such a brutal way and basically saying it's all his fault? Bit much imo!

She told him that white lies were okay, told her that if knowing something would cause her pain she would prefer to remain ignorant and told him that lying to make someone feel good is okay. As for Sly, his little speech where he says Walter seduced Flo by inviting her to the team, taking her out and telling her about the dream is stupid. None of that was Walters plan. He invited Flo onto the team because Paige told him to give her a chance, took her to the lecture because Paige didn't want to go and everybody else had plans, and told her about the dream because Toby told him to.

I was totally hooked. When I watched that last episode, I was sitting waiting for the next ep to start then it went to the home screen and I was furious 😂

First episode and I fell in love with these misfit geniuses, and I'm still hoping for this show to be saved. I loved every character, their pun-intended jokes, oh god, Walter and Paige !!!! So bummed. 😭😭 This show may not be a moneymaker, but it's very informative, in a fun way. And what do we get from tv shows nowadays? Mediocre romance, sexy couple stuff, some common teen dramas? One thing's certain IMO, this show did not make it, NOT because it's hard to understand, but because people are too lazy to open their minds to understand.

I’m struggling to see how any of this is truly Walter’s fault. I have never seen people gaslight the f*** out of someone (who also can’t defend himself correctly).
1. Last time I checked people are only responsible for their own actions. Why is it Walter’s fault that Florence caught feeling? Why is it Walter’s fault that Sly had no balls for so long and just kept chickening out? How in the hottest of h*lls is it Walter’s fault Happy and Toby can’t mind their own business and gossip like 16 year olds?
2. Paige is the literal definition of “I’m insecure about my own self and others so I’m gonna take it out on you”. You hear 20 times that he has no feelings for Florence yet trusts him so little that she blows up like this. And what he’s not allowed to go out with friends. Same as how she’s tired of him hanging around her friends and feeling like it’s torture, I’m sure he doesn’t like hearing your comments and complaining about his lectures and intellectual stuff. The fact that he can swallow it for your happiness and you can’t do the same for his says a lot about that character. The FACT that he does all this changing and improving to accommodate her yet she does nothing but b*tch and moan tells me she’s a terrible partner with no ability to compromise.
3. IF TOBY AND HAPPY DON’T MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS FOR ONCE…UUUGGGHHH! If I say something over and over and keep getting asked I’m smacking the f*ck outta you every time I’m asked from then on. If I say such and such situation is not of your concern and that I don’t need the flip floppy shrink and his melodramatic overzealous traumatized but make it your problem wife. You are on point with your comments. The ending was essentially a repeat of the Strife On Mars Episode except the roles were reversed. Amazing how people forget what happened in their life. Walter comes to learn during his hypoxia experience the truth of what happened has been hidden. Ashamed, embarrassed and hurt that the entire team hid this information. He lashes out and fires Paige, holding her responsible. He takes the time to privately do this. On the flip side Paige doesn't want to hear him out privately. Now, I do believe the writers did this purposely hoping for a Season 5.
To this day all I feel is pain gonna rewatch this masterpiece
Why am I the only one who's struck by the hypocrisy here? In S3, Paige and the team knowingly lie to Walter for months, constantly stomp on his heart and his feelings, insert a man that made him miserable into his everyday life and when he reacts badly, they crap on him and make him the villain, then walk out. When he lies at Paige's request, Toby's convoluded advice and ends up failing in an area he already struggles in over a completely innocent and platonic event, they also crap on him, make him the villain and walk out. Walter was dealt a shitty hand. He's better off without them. Cabe shows true loyalty, as opposed to Walter's "Friends" who owe everything to him. Now they'll have to do it on their own while Walter and Cabe rest their backs from carrying Centipede's sorry, unprofessional asses. Good riddance. Definitely hoped to see S5.
I didn't get to see the whole show, just saw it recently (about four months ago) on 16Mystery. If this is how they ended Scorpion, THAT SUCKED OUTRIGHT! Shame on the shows producers and staff for not writing a different ending. Didn't see the writing on the wall here?
For Paige to have said she brought Walt this far, and 16 is as far as he could go, was below the belt and uncalled for.

It was only in the last episode of season 3 when they become a couple so that lacks the full. Story line and syleverst quit over something that Walter couldnt prevent. It wasn't his fault. She only went with Walter to the lectures because she wanted to attend them as well, Walter and Florence have a lot in common academic wise, Walter was flirting with Florence, he wasn't hitting on her, she looked at him and liked what she saw in him and wasn't going to change, change is inevitable but the kind of change Paige is for in Walter she can't get, for a high IQ that means walter's brain shows more activity which even suppresses his EQ side, he can tap on it but can't constantly maintain it, that's why his better fit is Florence, she understands him and will love him for who he is not what he'll be. Last point, Walter should partner up with Elia in his company.

Okay so up front, while I always liked him, Sylvester annoyed me the most in this scene. I get it, it was probably hard for him to want to move on after Megan, but how exactly was it Walt's fault Flo caught feelings for him. Basically, while Walter was harsh, he had a point. Sylvester needed to put on his big boy pants and ask her out! He's pissed that he missed his chance and taking it out on Walter
Also everyone just sucks here except Walter if I was honest. Legit I've seen episodes where Walter goes out of his way to be a good boyfreind for Paige so she should know how he truly feels about her (seriously, that Valentine's day episode where he tried to make love song for her dismissed it as stupid was really sweet). And yet, she blows up about going to a lecture with Flo (one she turned down by the way). The kiss dream, if Toby (you know the behaviorist and psychologist) said it didn't mean anything then why are they pissy.
Not to mention, hasn't Walter literally put his butt on the line to help all of them?
Bro, if you rewatch S1, you find out that he literally gave them everything. He basically adopted Sylvester at 16 years old. He repeatedly declined offers to stay with them and repeatedly got their asses out of trouble, and asked for nothing in return. I could go on for hours on why Walter is the SOLE VICTIM of this show.
One of the most heartbreaking things about this is that after everything they’ve been thru, this fight is so small. If we had gotten another season everyone would’ve hashed by the end of the first episode. Sure Walter and Paige probably wouldn’t have gotten back together until later on that season, but still #damnyouCBSnetwork

I don’t think this situation was fair 🤔. Everyone in the team has had off days , but they still managed to pull through. Yes, it was Walters fault, but the way everyone left him was terrible. This was a terrible season finale.

The episode before we saw how the only reason he kept the secret was because he thought that having pain because of the secret was better than releaving his conscience by telling Paige but then she would be in pain.

To have built up Walter and Paige and then throw it all away seems like very poor writing. I also admire Cabe for sticking with Walter. I really think the problem is the unnecessary introduction of Florence who should at best have been a one off character - maybe some irritating official for that sea garbage episode and that's it. If anyone should have been introduced as someone Walter shouldn't be seeing on the sly - it's someone like Linda (who is hot and they used to date), or perhaps someone who looks like Paige but is a scientist that warrants Paige's concern as to why the hell Walter would want to spend time with someone else. I don't think this was a good season ending, because it pretty much negates the entire development of Season 4 itself and the whole series. I really liked this show and wish it was never cancelled. But they should have let Walter and Paige be. If anything they should have made the "drama" about whether they were going to get married, have a child etc.

IMO he definetly didn't "try to make Flo fall in love with him consciously", but there was still something, that lead him to ask her, knowing that it'll hurt Paige... I think Walter needs to realize that him having an IQ of 197 doesn't mean that he needs to talk about science non stop and that he is more than just a "genius"... in 2x24 Toby said something like "you're a genetic miracle, so what it doesn't matter" and it's true... that's not what life is about, but he makes every moment about it and like that his relationship with Paige won't work!
It is sad that Walter saved all of them. He gave them a purpose. Then they all turned on him in the end. He sat through all of her relationships. Then she is the one that doesn't trust him. I loved the show, but the last episode sucked.

Even at the end at the Gettleman pitch he couldn’t even be professional to his now opposing team because all he could think about was that they “left” him for his terrible attitude. A high IQ does not entitle you to treat people like dirt. If he really was sorry for hurting Paige, not listening to his team mates when they told Walter to tell Paige that he went with Florence to that seminar, he would have tried to be nicer. Walter’s EQ may still be dangerously low, but a high IQ should be able to figure out what nice thing to say, even if it’s for the sake of common courtesy

I mean, not many people would learn an instrument for absolutely no reason other than to make their partner a song.

Walter trusted Toby with his dream and the next episode, the entire garage knows about it including Ralph. If they hadn't messed with Walter's head then he wouldn't have felt like Paige's feelings could get hurt and would have been upfront with her.
3- If I give up all opprutunities of achieving my goals and dreams just so that you can have a job, a family and a life, and years later, you leave me in my moment of greatest need for some BS reason, start a compamy in my very line of work, with a name that is basically a giant middle finger to me (Centipedes are the natural enemy of Scorpions), and go after the very client that i am going after in an attempt to bankrupt me to get back at me, then you DESERVE to be treated like dirt. The show portrays Walter as if he doesn't care about anyone, and people fall for it in their first time watching the show, but the second and third time when you watch it more objectively, you realize that all he cares about is his team's wellbeing, and they are the ones that actually don't care about him.

If they don't make a television film to give it a better ending, than maybe they should do a small crossover with MacGyver. It would be great to see two geniuses working together. Maybe Cabe Gallo should ask the Pheonix Foundation to help track down Mark Collins and the two teams (Scorpion 2.0 and Centipede) must be forced to work together along with MacGyver and his team to track them down. While doing that, MacGyver helps Walter, Paige, and the others work things out and go back to being a team.

Toby and Happy were assholes. When YES, they owe a lot to Walter. Sly owes him a lot as well. Bringing up his sister was a trash move. He still acts like he was the only one affected by that. Where to even start with Paige. She is surprised he went to the lecture that she didn't want to go with someone. After she was telling him about white lies like he was supposed to get it. He has no feelings for Flow. Sly blaming Walter for Flo falling for him was BS as well. Paige knew exactly what she was getting into dating him. She has ben a huge bitch to him all the time. To be honest I never wanted to see them together because I knew she would do something like this. Granted in the final scene Walter was being an ass, Paige couldn't help but dig the knife in saying they got the job. Why they couldn't give them 2 or 3 more episodes to finish the series is complete BS. My only hope is that they knew Collins was watching and it was a ploy. Otherwise the greatest character in the whole show Gabe needs to put his foot in all 4 of those traitors asses. It's 2024 and I just binged the whole show. Had I known that was the end I never would have watched.

The first time I watched it, I was playing Video Games when my parents finished the show without me. And now today, me finishing it and actually watching the ending, made me feel sad. Made me feel miserable, made me make a twitter account, an instagram account, and a facebook account just to see what the cast crew said about leaving. (Btw I followed them as well lol).

Can'tSpell Britt why should they have been worried about ratings? CBS hadn't cancelled a fully owned show in its 3/4/5/6 season for years, but they wouldn't lower their asking price for Scorpion to syndicators. Had they compromised and got a deal, the live ratings wouldn't have mattered as much because of the backend profit. This is on cbs not the writers.

very late comment but if you’re very upset about this just do what I did and end it after you watch the Christmas episode in season 4!! Whenever I rewatch Scorpion, I always end it at the Christmas episode where Walter dreamt that everyone wasn’t a team because thats a really good episode ending in a happy note :)

Paige and Sylvester were acting like petty teenagers. I was a bit annoyed at Walter but that evaporated immediately, when I saw this.
Paige’s EQ isn’t nearly as high as she thinks. Nearly every conversation she has with Walter is her complaining about him, nagging. Why are you dating him then? Why are you friends?
Sylvester needs to turn his brain back on. Walter can be friends with Flo, it’s no one’s fault she fell for him.

I don’t believe SCORPION was canceled from low ratings! Numbers can be manipulated. Somehow the triangle between Catharine McPhee, Elyes Gabel and David Foster played a part in it. This end sucks: Florence and Walter had gone to a conference. Florence isn't pregnant of Walter, so Paige has no right to be jealous. Walter didn't want to seduce Florence, so Sylvester has no right to be jealous as well. Everything is wrong. Which girl will break up with her boyfriend because he had gone to a conference with an other girl?? It doesn't make sense.

The ending of the show is heartbreaking, and it also makes me (bleep) mad! The show wasn't supposed to end like this, they should have made a season 5 for a PROPER ending and not some "BAD" ending ffs. Walter and Paige split made me think that a s5 is coming, but oh well guess not since the producers and CBS "CANCELLED" Scorpion... smh. So I'm 4 seasons in and on the series finale. I had a feeling about what was going to happen so I had to see it here. Now I can't even watch the final episode. Bummer. There should be a petition to continue the series to 1: Reunite Scorpion, 2. Florence and Sly dating, 3. Walt and Paige back together, and 4. Collins captured.
I need to rant as I just finished and I am the only person who watched in my family... unpopular opinion. I hate Paige. Yes she is good for the team but for all her EQ she has non when it comes to Walter. It's like because he constantly said he has no feeling in the beginning everyone is holding him to that no matter how much he changes.
1.Walter tried to express himself at the crash site but didn't have time, then at the hospital but they weren't alone and he was loopy and she said she was staying so yay I can tell her later. Paige kisses him on the hospital bed but was the first person to deny having any feelings and it being a fluke but then passes the baton like Walter is supposed to confess his love regardless of her saying your not the one.
2.Paige acted jealous anytime he made a move to try to improve on his EQ with someone other than her while keeping him at arms length. She constantly showed that she cared but whenever she wanted to she would non-verbally be like Walter your showing you care too much.
3. When Tim showed up the few time he attempted to confess his feelings to her everyone in the scorpion told him not to because he wasn't ready, he wasn't right for her, she constantly threw their relationship in his face pretending like she didn't know he cared for her. Yes Walter was a little petty a few time during the Tim situation but it was okay for Tim to talk to Walter any kind of way but Walter retaliates. Then he becomes the worst person in world and everything is his fault.
4. When anyone else is hurt it's a big deal. Walter is the devil because he did react a certain way or say the word they want him to say when they want him to say it but let Walter be hurt. Oh he is still the devil but only now its his fault that he is sad. Paige can do no wrong. Find out Walter is heart broken... it's okay Paige it wasn't intentional. Walter fired Paige because of the space incident. Oh Walter come on quit being a baby and grow a pair and confess. Walter doesn't get treated with kindness if he is hurt by anybody. They repeatedly tell him to get over it and always see his wrong but no one else's.
5. Paige never once fully chose Walter. She never had to sit and stew in her feelings for him because he never had anyone serious in his life from the moment they met. Bomb girl doesn't count because even with them dating it was quickly dissolved because it wasn't real. She never had to think about confessing and having real fear he didn't feel the same. On her end everything was smooth sailing except for the road blocks she created. Drew, her denial of feeling, Tim, her failure to find what they enjoy together and not worrying about mirroring their relationship after every relationship she's had in the past and/or see her friend having.
6. Walter really needed his moment to have a blow up or an outburst on how unfair everyone was to him when it comes to his feelings. Was he given some grace? Yes but he did not get nearly as much as they rest of the group got regardless of the situation and especially when it's his feels vs someone else in the groups feelings.
7.Toby can pretend like he is this great doctor and that may be true in some regards but he doesn't take any accountability for when his advice blows situations up. While him and happy was sitting over their pretending they just have it all figured out. They didn't once jump in to help the situation. Walter didn't think he did anything wrong taking Flo until they brought it up at the baseball game and after that is when he started feeling bad and showing guilt markers. Nobody thought to bring that up. Toby told him to tell Flo about the dream. Hell everyone was in the dream but Flo was only in the beginning and never showed up again. Didn't bring that up to Sly. If happy hadn't blown it up getting everyone involved it wouldn't have exploded because she could have told him to tell then and if they didn't bring up the dream again he would have told her quicker. She also went straight to believing the worst of the person they all believe have so little feelings that he is always in the wrong.
8. Paige didn't surprise me with her harsh words. She has been harsh when it comes to her dealings with her feelings for Walter from the beginning. All she could ever see was herself and her feelings. Even when dealing with Happy going everywhere with them earlier in the season. All she saw was her feelings she didn't take Happy aside and see why she was going everywhere and try to get her to understand they wanted some alone time. She went straight for the kill. If it had been Walter he would have been the worst person on the planet.
9. With a change in emotion and feelings you get angry, you feel attacked, you have outburst. We've seen Walter have these moment. When his sister died and a few others. This situation needed it. Even if it wasn't as clear as I would explain it. They could have written a fact filled statement pertaining to Walter himself that allowed him to thoroughly tell every single one of them about themselves. And their disregard for how he has changed and the feelings he is feeling more actively even if he doesn't have the words for them all yet.

I don’t think someone like Walter will have Ray on Scorpion, especially someone who doesn’t have his IQ and is quirky. Walter would tolerate Allie because she’s Cabe’s significant other. He hates Tim because he feels he “stole” Paige from her. He flat out told Tim that he would never have a place in Scorpion. That’s a pretty jerk move on Walter’s part. And his 197 IQ should never be the reason he treats people that way. For Walter, he just needs Mark and Florence. Cabe can be out of the picture. Walter is nothing without Cabe’s connection to Homeland.

Walter deserved what he did for. Hey lied(which himself said there's no reason to lie on previous episodes) when he went out with flo. He put tobis and Happy's life in danger and didn't care multiple times. He also cold shouldered his own father figure when cape was going to jail. Paige helped him thru alot with his emotions even tho most of the times he was dick to her and made her feel stupid. Alotta people saying oh he belived in the team and gave them better life but not really, he always made them feel unimportant because of his ego.they can be happier in Paige's new team.
He lied because he was made to believe it was the best course of action. If he hadn't been told to lie, he wouldn't have lied. Happy and Toby are thirty something year-old adults who agreed to this dangerous job when they signed their homeland contracts, and they put their own lives at risk and Walter always saves them. He cold shouldered Cabe because he was afraid. Many people react like that in these situations, it was normal. Also Walter had put both his company and garage as collateral to get him out of jail when the others just dove into savings or sold unneccesary belongings. Walter has never been a dick to Paige unless she deserved it. She's been a bitch to him for most of the show when he didn't deserve it, and she stopped actually helping Walter somewhere around S2 and just made it into a game of "Make the android human." He makes them feel unimportant because when he tries to be nice, they take advantage of that to slack out on jobs and piss him off, make fun of him and say things like "Paige you have made a monster" or "Walter apologizing is a sign of the apocalypse" or "Being nice isn't your nature and you're gonna snap like a rubber band". Paige's new team is a sinking ship. They all make fun of her because she's not a genius, and she treats them like children because they're not normal, and they all can't function without Walter and Cabe. Walter could hire new members and he's fine. Hell, he was shown multiple times to do their jobs nearly as well as them when they're not here. And i'm sure there are plenty of people more qualified to help Walter with his EQ than a waiteress with an autistic son. Dr. Rizzuto is an example. Quincy Berksted is another. The only reason she actually has a job on Scorpion is due to Toby's incompetence. Walter definitely deserved better than them.

Plus, if Toby and Happy had never interfered and said anything to Walter, Walter would have just told her nonchalantly because he knows he hasn't done anything wrong, and she wouldn't be as mad because of his tone. I obviously agree, Walter makes many mistakes towards everyone, but he always owns up to them afterwards. I would love to see anyone own up to the mistakes they made towards Walter instead of always making it his fault. Also, when you watch the show more than once like I did, you come to realize that he is the only one on the team who is capable of being financially stable and comfortable on his own AND looking out for other people. Toby gambled until he met Walter. Happy had no life and no stability. Walter took care of Sly shortly after he found him. Paige barely made it with Ralph (Although the skills she gained would make her better off if she quit) and Cabe has always worked for the government. If we talk logically: they need him. He doesn't need them. Only Scorpion and the world does. And if, despite his efforts to be better, they're content to make fun of him for everything that he is, he should be content to tell them how useless they are.
This series deserves an ending, it is not possible that they have not yet released a fifth season if or if there has to be sooner or later.

Walter helps them at their worse and now just over a girl next door they're just gonna abandon him. If it wasn't for Walter, Sly would have live in that dark apartment and hacking all alone and doesn't end up marrying her sister. For Toby if it wasn't for Walter he would have gotten out of his addiction to gambling and wouldn't have married Happy. And for Happy she wouldn't have a family and married Toby. And as for Paige if she hadn't met Walter, she wouldn't have understand his genius son. I love all of them. But the four of them quiting because of that, I know it's complicated when things like this happened in real life, partners misunderstood but they should have fix it, rebuild it and communicate. Walter was just guilty and doesn't know what to do because its his first time in that situation. Four of them suck for leaving Walter behind. Good thing Cabe stick with him. If it wasn't for Walter they wouldn't have gotten to meet each other. For Sly, Toby, Happy and Paige. I hope you realize that.

Sly was a broke-homeless kid hacking banks who was about to be arrested and end up in jail or kill himself to prevent that from happening. Toby was about to be killed by the people he owes debts to if it weren't for Walter. Happy was going to keep moving from one place to another, scraping for a living if it werent for Walter, and Paige was going to keep working two dead-end jobs to provide for Ralph if it weren't for Walter. Literally everything good that they have in their lives they owe to Walter. And he never holds it above their heads. What happened in the end of S4 was nothing short of treachery.
Paige isn’t the only person Walter lost…he just lost his entire team, and he still doesn’t get it. He still doesn’t understand the hurt and damage he caused. He may be choosing not to because people with 197 IQ don’t need to waste time on stuff like that. Well if he keeps that jerk attitude up, he just might lose Cabe too. You can make the choices you want Walter. But no one said they wouldn’t have a cost.
I would think over time, the 2 teams realize they need each other. They both fumble over problems and end up realizing the strengths of what each brought. Walter never reflects in the moment he takes time to reflect. Remember Megan's death? So he would realize his mistakes. But the end actually doesn't make sense:
1. At his core Walter is a fact and truth teller. So he would've come clean with Paige right after he realized his mistake.
2. Why is it that Walter who is this genius IQ leaves evidence for all these things that create issues. (Text messages on his phone about Tahoe, now the tickets.) A proficient hacker never leaves traces hence he wouldn't leave traces.
See how pathetic the ending is. Toby and Happy would've used facts not a make believe scenario to explain him telling Paige. Hey Walt remember what happened in space and what did you do when you found out. How do you think Paige will react if she finds out. Tell her. Shows are to entertain not insult the audience. Writers insulted the audience.
To the producers/makers of Scorpion:
Please bring them back together.

Walter can’t be the dad Ralph needs. Ralph is a genius too yes, but he’s a child and he does have more emotions than Walter that Walter can’t be caring and nurturing towards. He’s going to hurt Ralph deeply. There was a time in the show where Walter yelled at Ralph and hurt Ralph’s feelings and Paige got so upset like any mother would. He can’t keep doing that to Ralph.

This EQ/IQ thing was terribly overplayed and they killed the character of Walter because of it. People do evolve in real life but highly intelligent people do not suffer fools. To make Walter a constant roller coaster mentally is pathetic.
As for someone who thinks only of himself, consider in season 1 and 2, even parts of season 3 - Walter was a selfless guy. If he only thought of himself - he doesn't rescue Sylvester from a hotel room (instead he would've turned him in getting credit). He doesn't attempt to save his sister's life (failed but he tried). Tobi from a life of certain death unable to pay his gambling debts. Happy from a life of alone. He doesn't jump on and grab onto a train to save others. The same guy doesn't say "Guarantee life for Paige and Ralph". He is also the same guy who tells Paige to swim to the boat after he essentially sacrifices himself to the sharks. Same guy who helps Ray resolve his inner turmoil because he blamed himself for killing his partner. He doesn't volunteer himself up to go into a tar pit to save someone else's wife. From Season 3 they made Walter an unsympathetic victim. Newsflash parents yell at their kids. There are so many times Walter demonstrates care/love and compassion for others. The difference is he isn't conscious of it. One of the streaming networks should reboot the series with a 5-7 part season for closure.
At least give us a freaking finale season to end this series on a good note, still hoping that this is possible but I seriously doubt it.

The writers went bat shit crazy about Happy and Toby's baby which told me they were trashing the show so knew something was up. Then came the almighty implosion of a finale. But did CBS move the show to 10pm before the ratings started turning to shit or after? I know in Australia the good shit is finished by 9.30 during the week. Most are hitting the sack after that. So how would moving the show to a 10pm slot fix it??
Scott Barker cbs moved it to 10 to expand their Monday comedy block, and ratings nosedived from there. Not that that would have mattered had cbs negotiated with syndicators instead of refusing to budge from their asking price.

Amazing that Happy and Toby love to know-it-alls about walter's business but cant diagnose Paige's jealousy clouding her judgment, Sly using Megan as a crutch and missing his chance with a woman and the obvious overreaction on both that caused the company to break up.

Honestly as much as I love them together I don't think Walt is ready yet, in a relationship you have to share your life and for that find activities that both can understand/are interested in... and Walt's entire life revolves around biology/physics/...

The first 3 seasons of scorpion were great, but this last season, especially the last 10 episodes were just so stupid, and this last seen is just so stupid and pathetic, first of all, none of them have any legitimate reason to really be angry with water, the dumbest was Sylvester, he's really gonna say that "he made her fall in love with him", how stupid is that, Sylvester is just jealous that Florence got feelings for Walter, and now he's ready to fight, that's so stupid and not even how they would act, and page is the one who told Walter that he should practice "white lies" knowing that he really doesn't understand, and all he did was take a friend to the lecture, it was completely innocent on Walter's part, page should have understood that, so that's not even realistic, and toby and happy don't have any reason to be angry at Walter, their just jumping on the anti-walter bandwagon, so they all quit scorpion, when none of them have any good reason to be angry at Walter, and they show disloyalty to Walter, because walter gave up a great paying job, for them, the team, so Walter just got crapped on, and it's not really in line with how the characters would act, it's would have been perfect if they ended the series with season 3, but this is just so out of line and unrealistic

@Jennifer Walter is a selfish (not intentionally) person. Quintis always looked out for him and he did not always appreciate their concerns. He was also very mean to Sly during the Megan situation and during the last episode.
My Point is, he did his bit to push all the wrong buttons of his team mates, so at a certain point in time, it got too much for everyone to cope up with it.
Though I agree on the fact that seeing that as the canonical ending of Scorpion is just sad.

Happy and Toby are just being selfish, Sylvester's reaction was stupid and illogical and the worst was Paige because she made it out like Walter cheated on her when he didn't. Yes he had two tickets and he wanted to take her to the science lecture but dammit she clearly said that she'd rather go back to being in the swamp with the alligator instead of attending a lecture with her 'boyfriend'. Dramatic much? C'mon! He took someone who clearly enjoyed the show much more than she would and besides, he knew she would be hurt, that's why he was feeling guilty and not caring about how hurt he was when she made that alligator statement.
Atleast Cabe stuck with him because he knew that Walter wouldn't be able to make it through if he lost the only father figure he had in his life. This shows that Cabe truly did love Walter and cared for him like a father should have.

Walter lied about the show being cancelled and the proceeded to go with someone who he's had kissing dreams about, and then still didn't tell her after having so many opportunities to do so. It looks super shady and I would have been mad too. He made it worse because she had to find out for herself. If he would have just told her, everyone wouldn't have spiraled like it did.
Toby and Happy literally told him exactly what would happen many many times and he just didn't listen. Walter deserved that.
