Sam was the bonsai badass and that flying tornado kick was cool. When Daniel and Johnny were giving Sam advice with the styles I loved the combination with miyagi do and eagle fang.
This makes me miss my kung fu tournaments back in the day. Same format: demos, board breaking, forms and sparring. Such a wonderful experience to be a part of.

I used to hate Kreese, but when I saw this scene for the first time, he gained my mad respect for him. I respect both Danny and Johnny because they've learned to put their hatred for each other aside and work together! Good job y'all! Tori making sure Sam was okay was wonderful. Sam being respectful despite Tori hurting her was still kind and professional. And Danny wanting to have Johnny recognized as a two time champ has made me come to like him even more! Great job all y'all for working together!
Kreese and Tori were complete sociopaths throughout Season 3. At Season 4, they started becoming "Good" Characters. A little stretching of believability.

He really does care for Johnny and Tory. Kreese just has demons to battle. He also has a soft spot for Kim.
There's nothing unusual about four dudes in their sixties and seventies battling out their differences by having two teenaged broad's fight in a karate tournament. Happens all the time.

Johnny said Tory should've gotten a point deduction. When Daniel crane-kicked Johnny in the face, he got the win. So unless the rules changed, Tory didn't do anything illegal.

The most impressive thing about Sam is that she is the only one using karate. Without a doubt, Robby vs Eli was impressive, but they are just brawling.. Sam uses actual techniques and stances and I love that! That is kinda the Cobra Kai style, to just brawl. But I love seeing actual karate!
I've said a million times, Sam is easily the most SKILLED out of all kids. I think it gets forgotten that she has been doing Karate the longest. Hell she's the last person who learned from Mr. Miyagi. Yeah Tori is more ferocious and has skill but not to Samantha's level.

I actually gained a lot of respect for Kreece... he finally started to realize that he and Terry had just been abusive bullies their entire career... and decided to break the cycle of fighting and teaching dirty.
Thats pretty accurate, changing her style to aggression was smart for the first point. But its not her natural style while it is Tory's. out the gate they should have told her to change it up each point to keep Tory guessing. When I use to do fencing, this was pretty normal. something like come out aggressive for 2 points then slow it down because your oppenent expects you to be aggressive and it throws them off. She can't just beat tory at something she already excels at.

Bobby from the original karate kid movie, the one that hurt daniel larruso's leg he apologized over and over again in the movie and you can hear him yelling. "I didn't want to! I'm sorry". When Tori said, "I didn't mean to!" and asked if Sam was alright after she got kicked, they both were kids following orders from terrible teachers but niether of them meant to hurt anybody. Like Mr.Miyagi once said "there's no bad student, only bad teacher".

Cobra Kai in general has a lot of oversights when it comes to editing scenes. The mall fight, and the scenes of Hawk getting his hair cut by Cobra Kai are the most glaring examples.
My favorite character in cobra Kai is Terry Silver. It’s my best favorite one. He is always black belt. I know how his try to copy his movements call the quick bullet.
I see Tory wanted to win the right away instead of cheating and that’s when she became good , she should’ve told Sam that she won right away instead waiting the last minute that made her angry
Tory deserved a clean win but the writers are biased and refuse to ever risk Sam looking bad so they made it that Silver fixed it, so in reality Tory's win meant nothing after S5. Quite sad how Tory loses every big fight she's in.
Agreed. After all the dirty tactics she used she lost everytime even in the drinking competition. She also lost her boyfriend (Miguel). On top of that she has to care for her mother and brother supporting them with a job and taking care of the house. Not getting a single win is too sad. Just makes me feel worse for her.
Kreese really grew as a character within this show. His biggest mistake was calling Silver. Cause Sliver had a taste of money, and that's all he saw or cared about. This show should have 20 fuckin seasons because it is that fuckin good! 😂❤
Watching this and knowing how it went... Man, Tory deserves better. I really, really hope Tory gets her good ending out of all of this. She's kind of the last one out. The last one who needs to find herself in all this.
In season 2 episode 10 they weren't fighting in the tournament in plus Tory scratch her hand with bracelet she did that to defend herself and she did it in the tournament to becaus she make the fight personal.
She kicked her in the face more than 1 time in s2 E10 bcz she does the spinning kick and kicks her in the face and says:"is that the only way you know how to fight,dirty?" And then a second time when she kicks Tory over and then at the Tournament 😅
One of the best things about this season was Kreese's character progression. He seemed to have turned a corner into being a better mentor to his students, then Silver screwed him over.
Look hawk won All valley but we all know that miguel is better than hawk. But that championship he deserves more than miguel. Same is the case with tory and sam.

Just saw The Rise last night. It was probably the best episode of Cobra Kai I've seen yet. 😄 On a couple of levels, it's fitting that All-Valley ended with Sam and Tory. They're both the most experienced with martial arts among the kids (as all of the other kids only started karate a year prior at most), and it's looking like their rivalry is at least starting to come to a head.

the only thing I don't like about this fight is that Tori genuinely won her fight against Sam, but because Silver had to be a complete kill joy, that sense of victory is stolen from her. It isn't fair. She genuinely defeated Sam, but that's stolen because of something she didn't even know happened.

I see Tory wanted to win the right away instead of cheating and that’s when she became good , she should’ve told Sam that she won right away instead waiting the last minute that made her angry
Tory deserved a clean win but the writers are biased and refuse to ever risk Sam looking bad so they made it that Silver fixed it, so in reality Tory's win meant nothing after S5. Quite sad how Tory loses every big fight she's in.

Agreed. After all the dirty tactics she used she lost everytime even in the drinking competition. She also lost her boyfriend (Miguel). On top of that she has to care for her mother and brother supporting them with a job and taking care of the house. Not getting a single win is too sad. Just makes me feel worse for her.

Kreese really grew as a character within this show. His biggest mistake was calling Silver. Cause Sliver had a taste of money, and that's all he saw or cared about. This show should have 20 fuckin seasons because it is that fuckin good! 😂❤

Sam kicked Tory in the face twice, first, s2 ep10, when she kicks her off the stairs and in the face, and now her just slamming her foot in her head
In season 2 episode 10 they weren't fighting in the tournament in plus Tory scratch her hand with bracelet she did that to defend herself and she did it in the tournament to becaus she make the fight personal.
She kicked her in the face more than 1 time in s2 E10 bcz she does the spinning kick and kicks her in the face and says:"is that the only way you know how to fight,dirty?"
And then a second time when she kicks Tory over and then at the Tournament 😅
One of the best things about this season was Kreese's character progression. He seemed to have turned a corner into being a better mentor to his students, then Silver screwed him over.
Tory destroyed sam with that crucial good kick at the end 🥶🔥👏 and said hey you alright respect for female champion 🏆

Just saw The Rise last night. It was probably the best episode of Cobra Kai I've seen yet. 😄
On a couple of levels, it's fitting that All-Valley ended with Sam and Tory. They're both the most experienced with martial arts among the kids (as all of the other kids only started karate a year prior at most), and it's looking like their rivalry is at least starting to come to a head.

You know it’s funny. Terry Silver knows it’s useful which is why he was terrified when Daniel started using Kata against Mike Barnes in sudden death.

the only thing I don't like about this fight is that Tori genuinely won her fight against Sam, but because Silver had to be a complete kill joy, that sense of victory is stolen from her. It isn't fair. She genuinely defeated Sam, but that's stolen because of something she didn't even know happened.
Sam won, Tory fought well but won only because the referee was payed.
@lexie chan I don't agree, though if I am honest I am biased against Sam and towards Tori. Sam gets everything handed to her on a silver platter and never loses. That's why her loss should not have been the result of some skeezy douche paying off an official.
