I would recommend to everyone with questions ,to read "Black Elk Speaks". Wally talks about native americans relationship to all their surroundings. It's about respecting everything around you, from the tiny ant ,to the mountains , birds, sky, mother nature etc. To understand them you have to understand yourself first. Unfortunately in this day and age, a lot of our youth no longer speak the language. Wally does a great job interpreting all these teachings. Our elders were able to summon the rains when needed, but we were told" the ways are too powerful" and we wouldn't be able to control them. So they took it with them. I've heard this from other tribes as well. When you understand yourself and deity, perhaps you'll understand the invisible senses. Blessings to everyone.

The only things that set me off are red wasps and love bugs... Ground hornets don't touch me. I can stand in a swarm of hornets and the leave me be, but one wasp see me and it attacks. Everything else has a function and even love bugs have a function as bothersome as they are to people outside.
I don't like love bugs because they get all over me and I don't want to squish them, much less breath one in.
What do the Navaho think about wasps because they would surely get into their dwellings?

Navajos main irritating bugs are mosquitos. We gather horseshit, mush them up and burn in a iron/steel container and place upwind so the smoke chases away the mosquits. We also have black tarantulas, brown spiders, daddy long legs and centipedes.

@@mjb1403 I think this may be a semantic issue. I've been thinking about the topic of "nothing" quite a bit lately. I think most people know there is such a thing as "nothing," even if only on an intuitive level. It's the absence of other things, the state of our universe if entropy goes on and on and on. It is the hopelessness and emptiness we have when things are destroyed, the increasing like of life and drive that plagues our world. Right now, I think we're coming to understand it better.
Right now it's more of a spiritual thing--a thing that we can see washing over the systems of our world, where chaos replaces order, injustice replaces justice, disorganization replaces organization, and things just fall apart more and more. Things we use to rely on have disappeared, replaced by emptiness; places we used to go to are are closed, things we took for granted for years or even generations have been swallowed up in inky darkness. I think we've been seeing more of it in the last few years. It's always been with us, an eternal night and day and night and day, back and forth struggle between these things. Right now though it seems like our world is just reaching a dusk, and the night is beginning to grow stronger after a relatively warm, long day of light and understanding. I think some people believe, even hope, an eternal night is about to arrive. I hope not.
Like I said, I've been thinking about "nothing" and such things lately. I'm reminded of "the nothing" from The Neverending Story. ua-cam.com/video/CrG-lsrXKRM/v-deo.html

But it's a spirit gift to cherish kindness, too. It's so painful that people hurt other beings. In prayer, when I'm upset at cruelty, I just ask "render them harmless". Once I was out there for a while I started being able to predict things by observation knowing when I needed to persever, strength, and willpower. I learned when to be humble and brave when bears and coywolves were near. How and why the water flowed how it did so I could make light my shelter. Im probably way off base but I love being in nature. The news I interpret from it is more pure than watching weather reports and haring about presidents on TV. 1 day I hope to learn the true extra scenes.

Thank you for your teachings. I have been turned down by a local woman to native teachings because according to her I do not have enough Native blood in me. BUT, I am so drawn to nature & spirit & believe we are all connected. I have much respect for Native ways & wish to learn & understand.
With much, honor, respect & gratefulness, I thank you. ♥️

A good Friend of mine is a Souix Healer. He is a very wise and sage man. I consider him my mentor. I asked of him one evening while we were having supper, "What do you see in me"? He replied, "You're one of us". I am deeply Spiritual and have always respected the words of wisdom from our Elders, such as yourself. Many teachings and Native prophecies have either come true or are on the brink of coming true in the near future. When you have a Spirit Guide in your life, chances are we have many that come and go, you will find that many are Olde Natives that have long ago Crossed to Spirit. They are considered to be, "The Olde Wise Ones". Thank you for your Time and Wise words My Friend.

Getting past fear is a big one but it seems everything i have ever feared doesn't turn out near as scary as I thought it would be & i think finally at the age of 62 I'm calming down & not letting fear have power over me. To do this i talk out loud to myself while experiencing fear & say I'm going to be on time, I'm going to find the right address, it's going to be easy, etc etc & it really helps me a lot.

I have recently discovered that through some miracle of God that I have become a Big Foot whisper. I didn't go seeking them they actual found me. Being a very spiritual person whose always been kind hearted from the moment I could both talk and walk. Which at one time I thought was a weakness in my character; and not a major strength that it truly is. It was my strong character, integrity and excellent work ethic which made me a magnet for other people who shared the same good values that I did. It's this genuine goodness that attracted the big Foot mindset to me. Despite not word ever being spoken between us. they feel comfortable enough to share their very secret world with me and others who think and feel like the same way that I do. It's like being a member of special elite club where only 50% of humanity are actually aware of their true existence in the world today; while rest of the world continues to be completely skeptical about the subject.

These talks help me feel so much more grounded and safe. I had an incident happen to me and my family when we were driving through the SW, near the painted desert. This was when I was very young, I was 6 or 7 yrs old (1968/69? ) this interaction with a indigenous elder woman. I know some may not believe or give much thought to a interaction, but many strange coincidences have happened to me and my family afterwards. I hope spirit remembers I didn't agree with my parents actions, and I tried to stop it. They bought a turquoise marquee shaped silver ring from her. Something was odd about the whole interaction with this elder, my parents didn't seem themselves. I hope I have done enough to try to heal this, I cannot do anymore, I have struggled with my health and finances for a very long time. Thank you for listening 🙏
