This one is fun, and glad you found it. 🤘 MTH alway maximum fun, a unique metal genre-bending style, mixing tempos completely in many of their songs, enough to leave you scratching your head. But always with tight musicianship and humour. Drummer Nao is the sister of lead guitarist Maximum the Ryo.
MTH do love to mix genres, and they do whatever they like! If you don't like the screaming, you might enjoy BabyMetal, the founders of the Kawaii-Metal genre, with pop vocals on metal music! Their most famous song would be "Gimme Chocolate", but I would avoid the official MV since it gets blocked, but you could do the Live at Legend 1997 show, that it has the same footage as the MV but it's live!
@@mickymoist I'm well aware that MTH existed way before BM... And could you tell me the name of bands that already existed that did Kawaii-Metal? I could be interested in knowing it, since I believed they were the first ones. And BTW, only the lead Singer SU was born in 1997, the other 2 in 1999
@@BlackArr0w I just meant there's not enough if a sound difference between what MtH was doing and what Baby Metal dies to make Baby Metal the founders of anything... I think they were just the biggest band doing it when the word was created. So yes... founding band if the genre. But silly to say it was any different or original in my opinion. When Baby Metal and Lady Baby blew up I was ranting about how they were cheap rip off's of MtH. Since then they've grown on me. I agree the genre should have its own name, I just think MtH and High and Mighty should be acknowledged as the founders of the sound
@WelpHereWeAreOnUA-cam it's marked as 1 year ago and the comments, including my own, all say 1 year ago. My memory indeed socks ass but... I swear to God it was more than a year ago. Did I smoke too much weed or..? Maybe it's the weed...
@WelpHereWeAreOnUA-cam I see the date of posting too. I was slightly over a year ago... I think I'm remembering the first batch of recommendations I had you react to 2 years ago. I did two stints a year a part. They blend together.

MtH was around 10 years before Baby Metal... as was High and Mighty Color by a couple years.
1997 was the year they were born... so they were like 2 years old when MtH formed.
I never understood why they made it it's own genre when some bands already like that exist... but I guess that's common with most new music genres.
