Another year later and I've noticed some new things. Sesshomaru seemed to have always showed Inuyasha some form of demon brotherly love. At the beginning, he helped inuyasha use the tetsaiga by threatening Kagome. Then, he helped inuyasha unlock the wind scar by blinding him and forcing him to use his other senses. Then, as he develops, it becomes more and more apparent and obvious that he's kinda helping, in his own way.
I have always loved the fact that Toga knew exactly what both his sons needed and planned accordingly, down to giving Inukimi the meido stone which helped Sesshomaru greatly. The irony of Sesshomaru marrying Rin, a human and following in Toga's footsteps (with Izayoi) is why his character arc has always been my fav. Sesshomaru literally came full circle and we love to see it 👏🏼👏🏼
I can understand why sesshomaru let Rin in being that he disdained humans and humans rejected Rin, but I think it's a bit too much artistic liberty to make him open up for others in general especially humans.
Thats just having knowledge. I would bet, that if Toga didn't die, he knew that there was a chance his wife could (and his sons) and so he let himself perish to give them a chance to escape.
I've been watching Inuyasha since I was in elementary school I'm 28 now. Along the way I got one of my brothers and both of my parents into Inuyasha. My dad's favorite character was Sesshomaru. I even got him a Sesshomaru thermos for his birthday one time, he loved it. My dad passed away in 2018 and I just wish that he was around to see this new Yashahime, him and my mom (she passed away 9 months later). I know he would have enjoyed it because it focused on Sesshomaru and his daughters more ❤️

Sesshomaru was my "It's complicated' awakening. I wanted him for me, but I also wanted him for Kagura. But also I wanted to be Rin and grow up to marry him. So, yeah, I swear I grew up fine.
It's kind of sick to want to be a child to 'grow up' and marry him. 🙃 like it's unhealthy. She literally worshipped him. He was her savior and protector. Nah not cool.
Frfr the fact that he pretty much adopted and raised her since she was a child and still went on to marry and have kids with her really rubs me the wrong way
Although they often fought and sometimes were after killing each other, I think someway and especially in the Final Arc it became apparent that there’s also some form of sibling love going on between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru was hurt in battle because he protected all of the group and especially his brother. Inuyasha on the other hand was worried for Sesshomaru well-being. The of course can’t articulate those feelings, but I believe they grew to be throughout the series.
Sesshomaru was my favorite character in the anime of Inuyasha at first Sesshomaru started out as cold hearted person over time spending time with Rin, Sesshomaru begin to learn how to love and sadness but most of all complications at first Sesshomaru believe his father he favored his younger brother now he understand his father was trying to teach his oldest son power was not everything by protecting the person he love most and Toga wanted Sesshomaru to have complication in his heart not just for his younger brother but for the person he will someday fall in love with.
Compassion, kindness, and love are something that Sesshomaru already had even before the start of the series. For starters he was kind enough to let Jacken follow him, and he doesn’t really treat him like a slave, but a loyal servant, and he always protects him. He even gave him that staff. The final moment with his father, he was not only there for the inheritance, but also for his final words “who are you trying to protect?” After Inu Taisho’s death, who is capable of secretly protecting them from the 2 worlds, who hates them? Now when Izayoi died leaving a very young orphaned half demon boy, who do you think stayed to protect him? None other than Sesshomaru, who else Totosai, Miyoga? Don’t think so. Sesshomaru wants play the bad guy, but he had been compassionate, kind and loving.
I like this theory. There is also an episode/ova/arc about Sesshomaru asking/needing Inuyasha's help, but he was not able to help him out, resulting the loss of their side and death of many of their father's vassal. This is when Inuyasha is simping so hard for Kikyo at that time, shortly before his almost eternal sleep. I can't remember it clearly since its been years, I'm not sure it it was in the anime or the movie or it was a filler since i never read the manga.
Omg!!! I saw Sesshomaru's name and i was like, wait, i need to see this right away. Inu Yasha being the main character and a cute hanyou was nice and i liked him too but my favorite character was Sesshomaru. Thank you for the video, it's really nice!!😆😆😆✨✨
I agree that learning the meaning of loss was pivotal in Sesshomaru's development and the importance of these characters in the process. Although I always had the impression that he learned to respect humans mostly because he got to know InuYasha's human friends, especially Kagome. She gained his respect, for sure. Also, I believe that being a witness to Sango and Miroku's incredible strength and courage, also helped change his way to look at humans.
This was an amazingggg synopsis! It was because of Sesshomaru being as stoic as he is/was that makes him such an impactful character in the anime community as a whole. Every time he appears it was never for long but it was so powerful nonetheless. Knowing someone like him having daughters with someone like Rin who inevitable changed his life, makes for a interesting story in Yashashime too.
Great job. It was fascinating how a powerful demon like Sesshomaru changed throughout the series through such growth. Rin taught him a lot, even the Kagura and Sara Asano and had little hand in it.
I will admit I was hesitant to watch this video, but I really ended up liking this discussion. It was nice to be reminded of what was shown to us and how each one did make an impact on Sesshomaru's development. While Rin was the biggest influence, it's hard not to say that others didn't affect him as well.
Also there is an interesting coincidence. Kagura’s destiny was tied to Tokijin. It was she who told Sesshomaru where is the sword and that Tokijin which was made of her brother fangs would be his. It looked like she granted him that sword. And when he knew about her death - he broke Tokijin and never thought about repair the sword. It looks pretty symbolical.
I was just 23 back in January of 2003 when I first watched Inuyasha on AdultSwim, the 2nd episode I watched was "The Aristocratic Assassin: Sesshomaru", and needless to say I immediately became a fan; it's hard to believe that it's been 18 years since that day and although I am still kind of bummed that we didn't get a show about Toga's early years or Sesshomaru becoming stronger after The Final Act, it's still good to see new episodes of one of my favorite anime.
I enjoyed this video very much, thank you for choosing to do a Sesshomaru focused story. He is often only seen as the ruthless bad-ass from the earlier episodes. I like him a lot more when he starts to form bonds and show emotion. He grows as a character more than anyone and I too believe Kagura and Sara contributed to this but Rin was the main reason.
Axel, loved the video especially being about Sesshomaru, I thought it was nice of you to tell everyone about his growth in the show, because some do not understand him still. So I loved it and thought it was amazing! Wish I could be here more right now but job has had me working like crazy first day off in in 8 days, I hate missing the updates you post. Well love and peace to you my good man and more on Lord Sesshomaru please and thank you.
Its so sad now that I think about it . Sesshomaru has lost two women that cared about him . He is scared now that he might lose Rin . He has not had it easy when it comes to love .
This was beautifully explained. Funny thing is people tried to make it look like Sesshy cried when he lost rin in the underworld, editing tears on his image so well (embrace scene), I almost fell for it thinking I missed something LOL.
Axelbeats, do you think your next Inuyasha video can focus on the relationship/rivalry between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru? I do think that by the end of the original Inuyasha series, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha at least tolerate each other.
Sessho has always look up to Toga as a God his whole life but because of that he never believed in his own strong always rely on others not just Tessaiga but others demons power as well. It been shows several times that Sesshomaru that despite being one of the strongest demon in the anime he doesn't have faith in his own power. When his arm was cut off by tessaiga instead of regenerating his arm back he decided to find another arm because thought his old arm was to weak, when tessaiga was broken by Goshinki while Ino take one his fangs to created to new Tessaiga, Sessho take Goshinki fangs and created Tokijin. That shows how different Sessho and Inu are if Inu could use his own fangs to create a sword by didn't Sessho used his own fangs to simple he doesn't think his strong is enough to beat his father. Only when Sessho was fighting a truly strong enemy is when overcome his complex. Almost all the enemies he had were just to weak or he had to used others powers like the Tokikin, Tessagia, or the even the Tenseiga. When he was facing Magatsuhi since he thrown away his other swords he was left unarm this is the first time he was in a life or death battle and that when Sessho hidden power manifested into his own sword Bakusaiga. We watch Sesshomaru actually grow up and gain true confidence in himself instead of depending on others.
Yer I was alway confused why he didn't just regenerate his arm. He could have done it long before the final act. Shoots he even could have gone to his mother for help. He even healed his wounds on his other arm using share will (according to the Jaken).
while some will say that his methods were a bit cruel at times (giving Tensegia an offensive ability, only to require Sesshomaru give it to Inuyasha in the end, as well as having Rin die twice to teach Sesshomaru mortality & the value of life)I have always loved the fact that Toga knew exactly what both his sons needed and planned accordingly based on their personalities
I see Sesshomaru as someone with Schizoid personality traits. In real life people like that usually have a history of childhood shaped by cold and distant parents. As a result, schizoid types feel uncomfortable and avoid relationships where displays of love and affection are expected or demanded from them, because they never learned to do that. Thinking about him as a neurodiverse character is interesting to me. Sesshomaru's mother clearly acts cold and uncaring, she doesn't even know her son. Inutaisho, his father, was at the very least absent. It makes me curious about how his upbringing led him to place utmost importance in power and nobility over relationships and life itself. Since there is no therapy he could do in medieval fantasy Japan, the whole road during the series was his therapy, and that includes being humbled by InuYasha, meeting Rin, Kagura, letting go of his obsession with his father, etc. Some think schizoid types do not like company, but that is not true - they are glad to have company and even intimacy as long as the company just lets them be and does not expect recurrent displays of affection or emotion. Sesshomaru got attached to Rin because she showed him kindness even though he treated her with coldness and even rudeness. Rin did not care about that, and still cared for him and tagged along without asking for anything back. He could just be, and still enjoy her company. Jaken, similarly, follows Sesshomaru without questioning him or demanding affection in return. Kagura, Sara, and Kohaku as well, all accepted and respected him, without requiring displays of affection, chitchat and all those things most neurotypical people enjoy. The road ended up helping him realize he did not need to be alone to feel comfortable with himself. Or at least, those are my thoughts on his growth.
Best Video on your channel so far!!! You go, man!! :DDD by the way: the scene with the flute was kind of funny to me, because I watched it in german (native speaker) and the voice actor just gave Sesshomaru a sassy kinda bitchy touch when he was saying: "Spiel deine Flöte im Jenseits weiter" = "Play your flute in the afterlife". But the sound of it is not tragic, its hilarious! Like "oh well you're dead now, just keep playin' this shit in underworld, have good times, you loser". I was very confused watching the scene in japanese with the "same" words, but with a different voice acting and meaning.
Sara was a filler episode character so I am not sure if she should have been included. Rin had the biggest influence on him, teaching him compassion, sorrow and how to be a protector and most importantly love. At this point, I don't mean romantic love, as she is still a child when she travelled with him. Kagura taught him pity and sympathy and he feels great anger on her behalf. But I think we sometimes forget that Inuyasha and his group also teaches Sesshōmaru a lot too. He's been humbled multiple times by Inuyasha but he also witnessed how much stronger Inuyasha becomes because of his friends. Not just because they help him fight but also because Inuyasha's strength grows enormously when he needs to protect his friends. Sesshōmaru eventually realizes the value of having bonds of friendship and love and this ultimately leads him to marry Rin and start a family.
Completely agree with this video, Both Kagura and Sara had an affect in changing him, But Rin was the one that impacted him the most. Thus becoming the reason he married her as she got older; he felt pure love for the first time. The reason people think its weird(which in part I agree) is because He met Rin as a little girl and became her guardian protector, and of course there was that connection with Kohaku(which sesshomaru also watched over). My theory for Rin being in the tree of ages(and possible season 2 prediction) is that Rin was close to death again and zero tricked her into tying their lives together thinking she will be saved, so sesshomaru made a deal with the tree of ages to keep her alive and have setsuna's dreams maintain her alive (thus the dream butterfly) but sesshomaru now is aware that you can't always escape Death and it always comes when it is time to go, especially for humans. So sesshomaru comes to understand that Rin might either sacrifice herself to save setsuna or towa, or Die to take out Zero. I believe Rin's spirit will probably turn into a dream butterfly, and fly over their twin daugthers and jaken, while he balls out in sadness, and then lands on sessohmaru while he smiles for the first time and she flys away and the memory of rin saying "do not forget me Lord Sesshomaru"(from "forever with lord sesshomaru) crosses his mind and he sheds tears while he accepts that death is a precious part of life and walks away. Thus Sesshomaru doing a full growth as Daiyoukai with a big heart and compassion which is what his father wanted him to learn.
He is one incredible character I would say that in reality is he's a powerful one I mean of course we know who the main protagonist in the story is but you can never put a blind eye to him he's just that type of character.
@@pyroplays2017 Not true that he raised her. She spent 6 months to 1 year as his ward. She lived in the village with Kaede for years after Naraku's defeat. I understand it felt like years that she spent traveling with Sesshomaru and Jaken, as the show ran for years. The ending is clear that Sesshomaru left Rin in the village to live with humans and to grow so any decision she makes in the future, is her own.
@@LadyUmi He did, for some months but he did raise her. And we know that he still brings to her clothes and he always protects her whenever she's in danger, we can see it in the first episode of Hanyo no Yashahime so yeah, in some way he has a provider role for Rin even when she's with Kaede.
@@Blue-Sea84 I am in agreement that he did give her gifts while she stayed in the village, that doesn't mean Sesshomaru raised her. My relatives helped our family out growing up doesn't mean they are all my mom and dad's and that they raised me. Her own parents and Kaede were the ones who raised her. A recent interview confirmed that he didn't visit her often.
@@Blue-Sea84 He didn't really raise Rin though as a daughter she was more simply a tag along Rin was literally just some random dead girl that he took pity on and bought her back to life and she then decided to just follow him around he even tried a few times to get rid of her and she had the choice even when she was small to leave but she stayed. And then at the end he decides to leave her in a human village to grow up and be with other humans for her sake while on small occassions dropping by to check in. So it is not like their pairing is father daughter like in any type of way she was just a random village girl who tagged along and just happend to stick.
Yessss, thank you! I really hate when people disregard Kagura and Sara's impact on Sesshomaru's development. It's an excellent bit of character writing that I love so much and is important to his story as a whole. I'm a big sessrin fan, but I wish people could take their shipping goggles off and learn to understand what the character's and their stories are about at their core. There's so much more to Inuyasha than shipping.
No one should disregard the impact they had on Sesshomaru, but the problem comes when people try to say that kagura had a bigger impact on his development or saying that kagura was the first person to change him which is also false. That’s usually when shippers speak up because those statements are just false
@@JMoonJ it's honestly semantics at that point. It doesn't matter who changed him first or had the most impact, they both changed him and are important to his character. Sometimes you can just let people be wrong and not bother to start anything. Sometimes you need to be the bigger person and just let it go. That's not admitting defeat or admitting they're right. Its self-care.
I think another element that changed Sesshomaru includes that one episode in the Band of Seven arc, when Suikotsu was killed. Sure he was just standing there, third-wheeling the whole Kikyo and Suikotsu final moments sentiment, but the very fact he chose to let them have that moment was quite interesting to me. Something about Suikotsu's story and Kikyo's persistent kindness seemed to move something in Sesshomaru and I would love to see a better analysis of that episode, but I don't think I'm up for the job. 😂
I think this was the moment when Sess started to be more accepting of Inuyasha and the gang. This was the moment when he realized he alone couldn’t save Rin sometimes, and he might need others’s help.
riin is the one who changed seshomaru. since he was a child, riin has been oppressed by the world. he grew up completely orphaned. when he saw that seshomaru was wounded he didn't hesitate to approach him and give him something to eat. because of its innocent smile he was able to transform the dreaded demon evil. seshomaru always saves him when he's in danger and looks for him with jaken. for maybe to seshomaru riin is a very important jewel so he will always protect it. so even in the afterlife he tries to revive it when it is killed by wolves. and when he sees it crying because he will leave. he immediately leaves jaken so he won't be sad.
God the art! Some of the more important aspects of an exceptional anime for me is the art, ost, and setting (and story, but that’s a given) Inuyasha is basically perfect lol It’s just the plot/story for me that’s a little wonky
I watched Inuyasha when I was 15/16, now I am 36😅, my favorite character is Seshomaru too, I liked him simply because he is handsome when I was a teenager. But now from an adult perspective, I like his spirit growth to become a great demon. The story between him and Rin is touching. I pick it up again because just accidentally knew he and Rin have daughters, how wonderful! It brings a middle age woman back to a teenage girl 😂
Ya know who doesn't get enough credit? Jaken. Total bro and his relationship and acceptance of everything serves an important role in Sesshomaru's little found family arc. The mom of the group funny enough.
I'm sure Inuyasha was his first reason/first step into the development arc. Although it's indirect, he must've taught him about acceptance/tolerance and protection for humans and to any creatures with human traits (half-breed/half-demons if you will). Kagome was also one of those reasons whenever Inuyasha interacts and sometimes yells at her in front of Sesshomaru indirectly showing him off that human/half-demons aren't that bad cause otherwise Sesshomaru would've not had Rin in his life.
Poor kagura before she dies here only wish was to see sesshomaru for one last rime and she dies with a pretty smile 🤧🤧🤧😭😭😭🥰😍😍 I wish she come back in yashahime for no reason i just want to see her again 😔 😢 🤧🤧🤧😓💔❣
This is just my opinion, but Kagome also helped with Sesshomaru's character development too although indirectly. I really don't think Sesshomaru would have even considered letting Rin get close to him if he didn't see the interaction with Inuyasha and Kagome. All he's ever known is his father dying because he loved a human, and what happened to Inuyasha with Kikko. Both had tragic endings so to speak. He later watches the interactions with Inuyasha and Kagome and sees something entirely different. He sees how much Inuyasha has changed and become stronger with his relationship with Kagome. And in the end Kagome did show Sesshomaru love; the love one has for an older sibling.
I’m annoyed at shippers at times. They will pair people up contrary to canon, defend their ships excessively if someone states their ships are non canon, use insults and foul language to do defend their ships, and more. Why can’t they just accept what is canon? That rant out of the way, Rin was apparently the best thing to have ever happened to Fluffy. Fluffy can answer his father about having someone he needs to protect. He kind of failed a few times, yet that’s not going to stop him.
Let's not forget ...he WANTED to save kagura but her wounds were so severe that even he couldn't save her. So he just stayed with her so she didn't die alone.

I’ve personally always shipped Sesshomaru with Rin. Because I know, and this applies to the both of them, that they would NEVER EVER love somebody else. But I’m not saying I ship him with her even though she’s just a kid. I’m saying I’ve always looked forward to when Rin grew up, and they had their love story, that they would end up together. Kagura, and all the other ladies had some sort of impact on him, but nobody did more then Rin. Kagura loved him for his power. Sara loved him for his looks. But Rin, loves him because it’s him. Kagura taught Sesshomaru sympathy. But Rin taught him the importance of a life, love, and last but not least Sesshomaru himself. No matter how I look at it, Rin is just more suitable with Sesshomaru. And I couldn’t be happier that they actually ended up together 😭❤️

Frfr the fact that he pretty much adopted and raised her since she was a child and still went on to marry and have kids with her really rubs me the wrong way
That's why sesshomaru is one of my favorite characters
I will say his first impact was kagome when she had pulled that sword. 🤣🤣🤣 He was piss
LOL and then Sango with her Nobility lol
🔥🔥😝😜
Steph Flowers Sango did it not until later
Love it🤣
Hax to be a humbling experience. Even if just a little.
I love how much Rin changed him
Although they often fought and sometimes were after killing each other, I think someway and especially in the Final Arc it became apparent that there’s also some form of sibling love going on between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru was hurt in battle because he protected all of the group and especially his brother. Inuyasha on the other hand was worried for Sesshomaru well-being. The of course can’t articulate those feelings, but I believe they grew to be throughout the series.
Also we got that brief image of them sitting across from each other at that table eating. 😂😂
Pls, I need to know did Sesshomaru really helped Inuyasha as a little boy or it's just an assumption? 🤯🤯
@@hannahbalcera6839 It's in the anime I just can't remember the ep, I think it's about 43 or something
@@hannahbalcera6839
It was a filler in the series. Episode where they had to fight the cat demon tribe.
Omg!!! I saw Sesshomaru's name and i was like, wait, i need to see this right away. Inu Yasha being the main character and a cute hanyou was nice and i liked him too but my favorite character was Sesshomaru. Thank you for the video, it's really nice!!😆😆😆✨✨
i still feel bad for Kagura. Her and Itachi’s story lines are tragic.
The fact Fluffy mourned Kagura after she died in the anime shows how far he came as a character.
Yeah. Even in the Manga Totosai mentioned, that Tenseiga felt a big pain, which he heard and remade Tenseiga for Sesshomaru to make Meidou Zangetsuha.
im wondering why they never had sesshomaru decide if kagura died in vain or not
@@moyuuteann9312 Kagura was part of Naraku. She and the other encarnations didn't understand that the moment Naraku dies, they all die.
@@tureytayno3154 not unless they were given their hearts
I agree that learning the meaning of loss was pivotal in Sesshomaru's development and the importance of these characters in the process. Although I always had the impression that he learned to respect humans mostly because he got to know InuYasha's human friends, especially Kagome. She gained his respect, for sure. Also, I believe that being a witness to Sango and Miroku's incredible strength and courage, also helped change his way to look at humans.
I saw my mans name and came running 🤣🤣🤣
Glad I’m not the only one 😂
LMAOOOO SAME-
Same!
Hahaha!! Same 😩
Back off he’s mine 😡
I've always loved the connection between Sesshomaru and Rin despite them being complete opposites in basically every aspect.
I wish Kagura could have survived she lived such a tragic life and Sesshomaru was the only good thing. But her death was needed to further Sesshomaru.
🤯🤯
Rin is Sesshōmarus emotional support human
Yes, they stopped trying to kill each other.
And their relationship gets even better in The Final Act
And nobody even knows how exactly do Sesshomaru and Inuyasha met and were they close or rival siblings beforehand of the series
Interesting point of view
Sesshomaru was hung up on his father. He didn't understand him but he wanted his power.
Yer I was alway confused why he didn't just regenerate his arm. He could have done it long before the final act. Shoots he even could have gone to his mother for help. He even healed his wounds on his other arm using share will (according to the Jaken).
Wow didn't even mention jaken in the title
Jaken is the one that loves Sesshomaru the most 😂
You did a good job 👍. This was a nice study of Sesshomaru 😍
Tbh It doesn't matter what character end up with sesshomaru cause They all change him
Sesshomaru is my favorite character thank you for making this video
while some will say that his methods were a bit cruel at times (giving Tensegia an offensive ability, only to require Sesshomaru give it to Inuyasha in the end, as well as having Rin die twice to teach Sesshomaru mortality & the value of life)I have always loved the fact that Toga knew exactly what both his sons needed and planned accordingly based on their personalities
I think that's what true strength close is letting people inside your heart
He shows respect to the girls who loved him, this makes him more charming
Rin had the biggest heart
U could even say inuyasha ( his brother) helped him develop as well in my opinion
I can see that
yessss
And I believe Kagome is part of his development too as to why he sometimes protected her throughout the series and in the 3rd Inuyasha movie
I wish they did a series just about sesshomaru and his life.
He is one incredible character I would say that in reality is he's a powerful one I mean of course we know who the main protagonist in the story is but you can never put a blind eye to him he's just that type of character.
Basically great job on showing as well as explaining his character growth.
Oh goodness, this is such a good video and character analysus.
I can't help but happily agree with it
I like Sesshomaru and the ship it's really doesn't bother me because it is What it is.
Mean yah but she was like a daughter to him he took care of her raised her from a little child to a adult saw mean it just feels weird to me
@@pyroplays2017 Not true that he raised her.
So it is not like their pairing is father daughter like in any type of way she was just a random village girl who tagged along and just happend to stick.
best video ever
I like sesshumaru s caracter so much
Axelbeats! Thank you for making me want to re-watch this show. It is still one of my favorites.
These takes are underrated. Excellent
You forgot to add Jaken in the tittle 😂
Coming back to this video and it still hits hard
Sesshomaru has always been my favorite character in InuYasha and in anime in general. His development in the story had made me love him even more.
Another good Video as always
Yessss, thank you! I really hate when people disregard Kagura and Sara's impact on Sesshomaru's development. It's an excellent bit of character writing that I love so much and is important to his story as a whole. I'm a big sessrin fan, but I wish people could take their shipping goggles off and learn to understand what the character's and their stories are about at their core. There's so much more to Inuyasha than shipping.
YO FINALLY DAWG!! I totally agree man. Inuyasha is not a romance only anime and shipping isn't everything. Spot on comment!
@@JMoonJ Facts.
No one understands Sesshomaru but we do understand that he's GORGEOUS!!!
true😀
Has kid I always wanted Kagura to be and Seshumaru to be together but sadly it doesn’t work that way

@Ape2020 xxx truth, you can't question the ses/rin ship cause you get attacked but then people go overboard with a fantasy pairing smh.
I would have liked him with Sara, kagura or that one in the video game, but I have learned to accept it but not a big fan of sess/rin
riin is the one who changed seshomaru. since he was a child, riin has been oppressed by the world. he grew up completely orphaned. when he saw that seshomaru was wounded he didn't hesitate to approach him and give him something to eat. because of its innocent smile he was able to transform the dreaded demon evil. seshomaru always saves him when he's in danger and looks for him with jaken. for maybe to seshomaru riin is a very important jewel so he will always protect it. so even in the afterlife he tries to revive it when it is killed by wolves. and when he sees it crying because he will leave. he immediately leaves jaken so he won't be sad.
didnt know rin was a guy
who's riin and "he?'
God the art! Some of the more important aspects of an exceptional anime for me is the art, ost, and setting (and story, but that’s a given)
Inuyasha is basically perfect lol
It’s just the plot/story for me that’s a little wonky
Very well done Axel. I enjoyed this very much.
Love this video idea!
the love of my life. I realised I was age at age 10 when I first watched Inuyasha and was ... intrigued by my feeling for lord sesshomaru.
Strangely I wonder what the old Sesshomaru and the Sesshomaru with growth conversation would be like. Interesting none the less eh?🤔🤔🤔
Thanks 😊🙏, a wonderful video, like always ❤
I watched Inuyasha when I was 15/16, now I am 36😅, my favorite character is Seshomaru too, I liked him simply because he is handsome when I was a teenager. But now from an adult perspective, I like his spirit growth to become a great demon. The story between him and Rin is touching. I pick it up again because just accidentally knew he and Rin have daughters, how wonderful! It brings a middle age woman back to a teenage girl 😂
Well said 👏
Great video as always
Sesshomaru is just simply a chad
Only seen the intro but already gave a like. I know this is gonna be great!
Poor kagura before she dies here only wish was to see sesshomaru for one last rime and she dies with a pretty smile 🤧🤧🤧😭😭😭🥰😍😍
I wish she come back in yashahime for no reason i just want to see her again 😔 😢 🤧🤧🤧😓💔❣
Inuyasha, not a girl but differently had an impact on Sesshomarus growth as well.
Good video and breakdown
Rin is the only human who defeat demon without even knew it😂😂😂
Great video boss
Great video!
That bamboo fight between inuyasha and sesshomaru is just top tier🥰🥰
This is just my opinion, but Kagome also helped with Sesshomaru's character development too although indirectly. I really don't think Sesshomaru would have even considered letting Rin get close to him if he didn't see the interaction with Inuyasha and Kagome. All he's ever known is his father dying because he loved a human, and what happened to Inuyasha with Kikko. Both had tragic endings so to speak. He later watches the interactions with Inuyasha and Kagome and sees something entirely different. He sees how much Inuyasha has changed and become stronger with his relationship with Kagome. And in the end Kagome did show Sesshomaru love; the love one has for an older sibling.
great video as usual. Bullseye :-)
That’s why I love him!
Back then I thought Kagura and Sesshomaru were pure evil when I watched this series
He's by far my favorite character in the show
I’m annoyed at shippers at times.
Welp that's what I get for procrastinating all these months. XD... I was gonna upload the same video. Guess i'll do it anyways. Good video bro. 👍
I wondered about that as well... I finally understoood
Do you have a vid tackling on crescent symbol in their forehead
The sword could be seen as a physical representation of his growth in some way.
Let's not forget ...he WANTED to save kagura but her wounds were so severe that even he couldn't save her. So he just stayed with her so she didn't die alone.
really good video

Hi Alex I hope you do Fruit Basket season 2 Recap and Review and Seek peak and same goes for Fruit basket season 3 the final episode I hope you watch Fruit basket season 3 the final episode
I loved this video
