Fighter jets, helicopter, sheep, rainbows, wind, some really nice shots, some unlucky putts, great attitude….what’s not to love about this video. Enjoyable viewing over a hot tea here in Canada. Cheers/way to go buddy!
Hats off to you James! Ive been watching you for a couple of years now. Sometimes I put your videos on because they are somehow soothing to me in the background. As an avid golfer myself I applaud your dedication! Cheers from Texas!
11:37, good thing that's in the cup or it looked like it could've been another 10 ft past! Yeah, whoo! Putting very well this round. (little did I know /HOW WELL./ holy toledo what a back nine of putting!.)
Always love the videos! I feel like when it's heavy wind or the insane amount of noise from the airport (we have one near us) - feel free to do voice over. I love your analysis over each shot. Voice over >> wind/choppers.
Another round of very good golf James, your putting was excellent, the putt on the 10th hole was awesome. You did well to concentrate with all that distraction. Keep the content coming, do you have a new camera? The definition is superb and your videos are very well edited, just the right length.
yes played on there a few times James my mate had a caravan on the campsite, the sheep are a pain the chopper does training there a lot and it is a pain too. But I really enjoy that course.
I played on the Falkland Islands golf course which was well covered with rocks, mortar craters and sheep. I did hit one too with a driver, I mean the shot not the club. It was a Baa'd shot.
I'm 50 and I carry. To be honest I find that carrying is less physical effort than a trolley on anything more than a flat course, any topography and I'm carrying for sure, it's just less effort and also I don't have to zig zag around greens or walk extra distance because of trolleys not being allowed near greens usually. I build club holding toppers for my bags that hold the clubs in silence when I carry rather than rattling like a bag of spanners.
@@robertcourt8593 my trolley is a pull trolley and I think the twisting it makes me do is problematic, I'd think that push trolleys would be better on the body. Carrying suits me anyway, I certainly have to walk less distance overall, especially around greens. Whatever it takes to keep us golfing hey Robert, all the best :]
"Somewhere over the rainbow," . . . . . . That helicopter is bloody annoying,so much for the tranquillity of the links and communicating with nature! Love the course otherwise and great video, thanks.
Nice round James. To answer your question, I’ve travelled across the River Tamar into Devon and played Tavistock Golf Club a couple of times, where there are plenty of sheep and the famous Dartmoor ponies. A local rule gives free relief from droppings, so that’s ok, but it’s almost impossible to avoid picking up loads of droppings on shoes and trolley wheels - difficult to clean off and even when shoes and wheels are bagged up, it still makes for a smelly trip back to Cornwall ! See you on the next one. ⛳️🐑🏌🏼♂️
I like your description, sounds like a neat place to go. Question, you mentioned the river, and someone else said fishing……. do you fish, and what kind? I’m a Canadian, in Canada,…just curious ,…and about the area.
@ Hi there - Tavistock is a lovely heathland course and it’s a challenge, especially when the wind blows as it’s quite open up on Dartmoor. The river Tamar forms a natural border between most of Cornwall and Devon, the two most southwestern counties in England. I don’t fish as golf takes most of my free time, but most of the fishing in these parts is sea fishing either from small boats and the shore. Both counties also have commercial fishing fleets, but nowhere near the scale that they used to be.
@@PadsDad thanks for the reply. Sounds like a nice area for sure. I don’t fish as much as I used to, but here in Nova Scotia we have some excellent salmon rivers ( and some incredible golf courses too!). I met a couple lads from Scotland few years ago who came over to fish. They were astounded by how cheap it was for a salmon license for an out of province guest, said the season pass here was what you would pay for one day in Scotland. And yes commercial fishing even is not as plentiful as it used to be. Hope you are enjoying your golf, I really like this guy….doesn’t swear of get upset, seems to really enjoy himself. Cheers from Canada sir!

In my opinion this is the best golf channel out there.
No frills , relatable golf.

Really nice to see how you play the game. Calm demeaner and smooth swings really have helped me in my game. Thank you, James!
This round had a lot going on. Great round, James!

I'd be in all kinds of trouble with those short par 4 holes😂😂. Going for it is my curse! Nice putting! 👍👴🏌♂️⛳️🇺🇸🦅
Great video and great golf in challenging conditions 💪
The noise of your drives was like a jet engine! 😂

Looking forward to playing here, next season, have you played Llanfairfechan Golf Club, a challenging Par3 course, highly recommend.
He has a couple of videos from Llanfairfechan on channel
Well played. Playing Unico tomorrow😄⛳
Good video. Have you tried Gaviscon for your wind problems?
I played on the Falkland Islands golf course which was well covered with rocks, mortar craters and sheep. I did hit one too with a driver, I mean the shot not the club. It was a Baa'd shot.
i do envy you so many cracking courses at very resonable prices,
great video
10 over par then splits the harp on his Guinness. Nobody does it like James.

I used to caryy but suffered back and hip problems on the back 9. Since I started pushing a trolley I've not had any issues.

@@LeeHobbiesyeah, I avoided trolleys for years because I'd only ever tried pulling.
Be lucky mate.
I'd like to see you put up the hole index
He did! 21:12
It’s on the hole map/sign he shows before every hole bud.
Ten pints of Guinness, ten pints of anything is a bellyfull, I love Guinness! He might not have eaten for a week after that.

Golf is a difficult enough game without the RAF trolling you.
When will you be here?
