Lovely reaction.. you are so right about the bass line which was very common in their music.. big hit in the 1980s ..so many groups and so many hits in this decade
Back in 1986 my then gf was a HUGE Tina Turner fan and she bought concert tickets for us. I was somewhat ambivalent but was optimistic. Turns out, Level 42 opened for them and they were fantastic!! Tina was really good too, though. Nice react Elok, new sub.
Hi E ♥Continue experimenting with Rock and find your voice Beautiful, I'm glad to be along for the ride and wondered by your progression like my own in Music ♥
Verry Verry good bass player, MARK KING. He actualy wanted to be a drummer, but became one of the best bass players ever. Nice band, with some good songs. I mostly listen to the bass, love it. Tried to play the bass a couple of times, when i was playing in a rockband as a rithme guitar player. It's really hard to play an interesting bassline. Not a verry good bassist here 🤣 Nice reaction Elok ❤😁👊
Elok, truly enjoyed your reaction to this song, when this came out I was so floored by it, back in the 80's, there was so much innovation, groups emerging, new wave, punk, techno, electronic, but so many groups incorporated a touch of jazz, soul, even big band from the 1940's, using horns again like bands in the 70's, from the 1960's, 1970's, into the 80's the innovation continued, this group to me had that mix of funk too, it's the baseline, like the Brothers Johnson (do check them out!, Strawberry Letter 23, Stomp!, "Aint We Funkin' Now,..do keep going, enjoy,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
LEVEL 42. They also have another great song, "Running in the Family." The lyrics are so, so cool, like a story, and the beat, wonderful. Enjoyed your video. Peace from the USA.
This song has long been a favorite of mine and I’m glad to see people still reacting to it… But I just wonder one thing. WHY DOES EVERYTHING YOU SAY SOUND LIKE A QUESTION?
You are so awesome and I can’t believe you reacted to this song… I have been following you for a long time. Sometimes when I get to know especially a girl the song comes to my mind because I always want to say there is something about you!!! So right…,’ Doesn’t always turn out to be the case but. You are an awesome person and a great human being. I appreciate how you always talk about humanity and against war and suffering. Such a young person wise beyond your years I’m very proud of you Always a song that’s stuck in my mind. Thank you for listening to great music and I am a huge rush fan of course but
