- Today I'm sharing how Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday went for my online boutique business. I am so excited because it was our best BFCM weekend yet! Even though it was our best BFCM weekend to date, I'll definitely be doing things differently next year. Watch the video to find out what those things are!

What I did on my boutique for cyber monday was 25% off sidewide, free US shipping over $25 and $10 shipping international, I forgot what I did for black friday, I think 35% off side wide. Also I give all my costumers hand written note with special coupon code for next purchase + a little gift. It was fun.
My biggest sale will be new year, I cant wait. bdw, I watch your videos before launch my boutique and you dont know, but you have helped me a lot. THANK YOU.

As you know, I rarely buy clothes except for occasional Levis online or underwear. (Yes, I wear Levis Mens 511 which fit me perfectly.) But I would pay any price rather than go into any store on Black Friday. Just can't deal with the crowds. I know a lot of people love the chaos and saving money, but it's just not worth it to me. As a business owner, I'm sure you're glad that most people aren't like me. These are great tips for store owners, though.

Hey Alli, I’m launching my boutique next month. Can you make a video talking getting a business loan. Maybe not the dirty details but at what point did you think it was a good idea? How long were you online only before opening up your store? Things of that sort. As of right now I’m using my own income. I plan on slowly paying myself back as I go but wondering when or if I should consider a loan.

Great video 💕 Would love advice on buying. When you buy something do you by it in 3's so that it goes to both stores & to the online store? How do you decide what goes where? 💖
When you purchase an item wholesale 99% of the time the item comes in a pack of 6. When I first started out I used to split the pack between the online store and my brick and mortar. Now I purchase many packs per style for my online store and usually 1-2 packs for my brick and mortar. 💕

Thank you for sharing all of that! I would love to hear your opinion or what you do about friends and family asking for discounts. How do you handle that?
Rachel Edwards I have a business and I just stand my ground. No discounts for anyone. Everyone pays the same price. I’m a dog groomer and not a boutique, but I always say that it’s no more or less work for me to groom friends dogs. You could use the same reason - inventory and all the behind the scenes work still costs you the same amount.
I started my online boutique over 2 years ago and no one in my family or friends asked me for discounts. I come from a family of entrepreneurs which may be why but people that I barely knew like from college would ask me and everyone knows, I don't do discounts lol just stand your ground like the previous person stated.

It's not to late to do those sales. You could do like 15 days until Christmas type sale where 1 day shoes 20% off ect.
