In western logic *Asia= China, japan, korea*
Sometime india got noticed too, mostly in food video
just a random pasenger passes by lmao 😂

There's no point in making a video about food around *Asia* when you're just gonna include the same four countries everytime.
This is my favourite comment😂
Facts 😂
Bro chill their just showing food I was really happy to know how to make the hk street food cuz I always eat it
they probably dont have like producers from some countries (as its mainly the obvious once which get to come to the USA), thats why i rarely see them from Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, etc..
i guess they dont include middle asia because they're arent any employees from there and when they see people from other countries they're gonna complain
Wouldn't it be a plot twist if one of them said "it's horrible"
Pretty much
Your name is mildly disturbing
I would make a Ćevap and say its horrible
Or if it had oil or cinnamon
@@defunctaccount9803 Haha, that's what I was thinking the whole time watching the video!

“Around Asia” to Tasty only ever means 3 East Asian countries and India, never anything from the South East or South other than India.. just saying
AND NEPAL
Usually Korea, China, Japan and India
True.. like there are so many countries... there
True, but maybe it's because the ones showing these recipes are their own buzzfeed producers coming from asia. It's not like they have hundreds of producers lol

This is not jalebi I don’t know what he did,
orginal colour is golden and what he did
Exactly!
@Mahima Romanoffsallymw cough cough colour golden though
Yeah it did look weird I never would’ve used all purpose flower srsly and do not put turmeric in there I recommend Safran
@Mahima Romanoffsallymw No one's spreading hate here. This DOES NOT look like jalebi. And when you are representing something, it needs to be a proper representation. Here the "jalebi" looks like some western sugar cookie (or some interpretation of pretzels).
Ah yes, Tasty picked the countries in Asia that people think of usually.
(Side note: I'm Indo-Canadian and I have had real jalebi before, but what in the hell did that guy make, it wasn't jalebi.)
I’ve noticed Indians living in America are way most whitewashed than Indians living in Canada, here you can embrace your culture and everyone speaks their native language at home. All my cousins in America don’t know our native language
@@Abcdefg-rk8jk yep tru
It was jalebi but he was not able to make proper shape of jalebi and fried it a little extra that's why it turned brown
@@sairask9275 The jalebi batter isnt made of normal flour, it is made of some kind of lentil flour (Arhar dal we call it in WB) which gives a natural tang to it. You dont need to add lemon juice for it.
@@sudippaul2876 yeah there are diffrent ways of making jalebi in different places some ppl do add lemon to chaasni
Guys please don't put turmeric if you wanna add colour, it's gonna tAste weird! You can add saffron milk may be
Isn’t saffron expensive
Little bit
I think commerical turmeric will add the weird flavour. Pure ground turmeric (you know the ones that are always around during Pongal in South India) will give you only the colour.
On the other hand, Kasturi turmeric won't give you any color, so if you want to use turmeric for cosmetic purposes but want to avoid the stain, use this turmeric. :)
I shouted "NO' when he said turmeric, you can add saffron milk, its soo good and I get it cheaply for 30 cents
or food colouring
Asian street food is the undisputed best. Sad how we don't have night markets or street stalls here in the US. And if you want something, it's significantly more expensive as well. Thanks for the video (even though I'm probably not going to make any of this)
weasel IKR? Seems no matter what country it is, we always have a night street market. You could tell you've entered one by the smell coming at you of fried, grilled, and steamed foods, like....damn.
weasel fr and how in Korea the rest areas are also so much better ! In America you get lucky if you somehow find a vending machine (it could be different in other parts of the US but everywhere I’ve to, it’s been the same.)
weasel I
You can actually find a few in America like in California ,which has a high Vietnamese population compared to other states, there's a Vietnamese night market where you can get food, clothes, etc.
Mi Nguyen Lucky... I live in St. Louis (middle of nowhere) and there's absolutely nothing here.

Did you know, there is a place called Korea in India also🤣.. It's in chattisgarh state I think.
Across Asia!? They didn't even include Middle East, West Asia and South East Asia.
The concept of Asian for Tasty somehow limited only the East Asian countries and India
India is in South Asia
Do you want them to bring you the whole Asia in a dish.
Biche I wanna simple video not a whole coke book.
SToP bEiNg KarEn.
ma ria i don’t think they meant having a dish from every single country in Asia, just maybe one from a large area, like a recipe from a country in east Asia, another recipe from Southeast Asia, west Asia, Central Asia, just more diversity in the regions of Asia, especially since east Asia is pretty popular in western culture already.
@@itzjelly5005 well that's what I mean.

Well said
I live in Asia and I love noodles. Okay when I was little, there was a brand of instant noodles called Maggi. So , whenever I see someone named Maggi, I would just laugh like crazy
I don't know where you live, but in India we still have maggi and basically disliking maggi is a crime here😂
maggie's sleeves were giving me anxiety
Seriously...whole time i was like stretch them up girl!
Exactly😂
I have to stretch my sleeves up to my shoulders because I know they're gonna fall off again and people ask me if I'm going in the kitchen or for a war😂
Jalebis actually look sooooo....... much more better than what he has prepared. It's like an art. These jalebis look horrifying.
Romil K I remember eating them for the first time from an Indian co-worker and they tasted so good. But I forgot how they were called and thanks to this I not only have a name but also a recipe :D Love love love them
And the way he pronounced it ughhhh
Pinkie Pride OMG RIGHT! man my brown soul is cringing with all her might
Farah Farahway I KNOW. It’s pronounced “JUH le bee” not JAAAA LEBIII
Omg 😂. You should see mine.
Surprised my parents didn’t disown me
jalebi was overfried (uf that's even a word) . It is more on like bright orange but yours looked brown

Vanditta Diwakar
This is probably why they do the same things over and over. People beg them to make something from India or someplace else, but when they do it, everybody complains that they got it all wrong.
I'm an Indian and I absolutely love jalebis !
Shreya Pattnaik hate 'em. 😝

I'm from Syria but i was born in Kuwait and I tried this yummy Indian treat so many times and they are delicious!

I still remember the first time I ate them when I was a child and I felt very happy!
In the eastern part of India(i.e. West Bengal), Jalebis are made slightly different and little more crunchier.

we also have something similar to kkwabaeggi here in southern philippines (mindanao) it's called 'tabid-tabid' which means tangled in tausug (native dialect) but instead of putting sugar, we melt the sugar then coat it
In the Philippines we have something exactly like Kkwabaegi, we call it bicho-bicho and it's one of my favorites.
There's also carioca, which is like a rice-flour doughnut drizzled with caramel. It's very sticky but it tastes really good.
I love kkwabaegi! I'm not from Korea but when I visited (beautiful county by the way) I tried kkwabaegi and it was really good

OMG 油条!!!! I am Hong Kong/Chinese and pretty much grew up there. I agree that each own stand has it's..unique type of 油条. Some are more oily, crispy, soft and so much more. I live in Beijing now, though, but I still it a LOT of 油条. Even the taste 豆浆 (soybean milk) can impact the taste of the 油条. If you ever go to China/Hong Kong, it's really common for breakfasts in many Chinese restaurants with warm porridge (粥) or hot soybean milk (豆浆).
The first one is also called ‘Shakoy’ in the Philippines. It's also sold in bakeries here. My grandmother cooked and sold them too. 😆
