So this is my channel that I created years ago, and don't have access to anymore. I've tried to recover the account but I ditched the email account I used a long time ago. LOL. I had no idea that there were this many views and questions until my stepson stumbled across this video. Needless to say the truck has had quite a transformation since this video aired. It was wrecked and the original 1972 frame was bent so I eneded up finding a 1969 C10 frame and built the truck back up from there. Lots of metal work and rust repair. The truck in my profile pic is the truck while I was getting it back up to snuff. I'll have to make a new video someday soon describing the truck and what I have done.
for the love of god, please do not over-cam your engine and have a dog at low rpm...no need to go this high in duration unless you have 11:1 compression and good heads....stock engine a Crane 274HO6 will do you good. 106 lobe centers to get lope, 218@.050 to get you power under .450 lift.
Those are stock Chevy 1.94 heads. The springs used are "Z28" springs that allow more lift. The cam has .480 lift so not overly aggressive, but enough to make some power.
Awesome truck!! Hey what size stall are u running?! Cuz I have a 2400-2700 stall but everytime I put it in gear it turns off (stall to small) so I have to idle car at 1500rpm so when put in gear it won't turn off and even then it still wants to stall out it also jerks me when put in gear my mechanic said its to much cam and stall to small he said I should run a 3200 or 3500 stall at the most to prevent this to happen to it! Thanks
6800 RPM cam 1 5/8" headers Dual Plane 6000 RPM intake Flowmasters better for mid range Stock HEI ignition only good for 5200-5500RPM need at least 4:11 differential gears and 3000 RPM Stall convertor to make that cam work.
Flat top hyper pistons, ARP rod bolts, .030 overbore, roller tip rockers. We cleaned up the chambers on the heads and blended everything in. No real port work or anything as these heads really aren't "performance" heads.

how many cu.in. have it ?
is this a edelbrock rpm air gap manifold ???
Man nice tone dude! I'm not much for Chevy's but thats a NICE lopey idle you got going on there :)
cool truck sounds good. You my neck of woods I'm in tacoma wa
Are you running that 292 bracket master on the stock heads and valve springs in that 350?
Stock 1.94 heads. Z28 valve springs.
hey is your heads stock? U have a nice clean set up. N the bracket master 2 sounds badd ass
Does it still have good enough vacuum for braking?
I have a vacuum canister on there now, and it helps "a little". LOL
you put a 292 cam in an engine with a 5,500 rpm redline? a 268 might have been a better option...
74camaro4speed the 268 cam would that be a good cam for a stock 94 5.7 I'm wanting to get a cam
I would not go Comp, but yeah, the 268 is a good option for a 350. Look into a crane 274HO6....218@.050..good lope and power.

@@smalltownplaya712 yes and 106 is a.....gives it that lope
@@smalltownplaya712 that cam is 230 degrees duration @.050 tapped lift and a 109 LSA
Sounds awesome! Can you use this cam with stock heads and do you have to machine them?

Need more compression

Hey, Man. What's the name of your wheel? I love that style, but dont know what they are called. Thank you
Slots
Those are old slot mags made by ET Mag Company. They are from the late 1960's. They have a goofy "uni-lug" system for multiple size 5 lug patterns.

It now has a full MSD ignition system, 3,000 RPM stall, and 3.73's. 4.11's in the works...
Unfortunately you don't actually know what you are talking about.
whats ur tire setup
P245 60-15's up front and P275 60-15's out back.
What's the part# or Duration Of Your Lunati Cam
What else besides that cam did you do to the engine?
Flat top hyper pistons, ARP rod bolts, .030 overbore, roller tip rockers. We cleaned up the chambers on the heads and blended everything in. No real port work or anything as these heads really aren't "performance" heads.
The black widow race venom mufflers would sound so good with your chevy
what kinda rims are those?
Peter Wiebe they are called "slots"
Wow sounds good pretty similar to mine with single exhaust just see profile for videos
Everybody just naming there cams lmao
whats the compression ?
With these heads, just about 9:1
WTF is a snotty cam? Is it that you think it's slobbering all over? Idk what the hell your talking about here.
He meant to say its boogery, like boogers, or its phlemmy, or mucusy, slimmy
LMAO... just a lopey cam.
Seriously?
Mofo is loud af!
same cam im running in s10 with a 327 66 model with double hump heads check it out in my vid
Needs better exhaust, flowmasters with that cam sound like shit
What cam has
Huh?
