Patrice O'neal makes me laugh, but the more I listen to his locker room insider strategy, I can definitely see why he hit a plateau.
He was that back of the bus crowd, but of the worst variety. That brand is like the types that dare you to say something, every day just *looking* to create drama. Not that they were so raw that you knew to keep your distance.
"I'm better than you!" but yet he's a man of the people. For all that pecking order bs, let it be for real animal kingdom, you think Patrice is the man to be slinging stones at lions and bears? That fat, buck toothed dude?
In my experience this was the kind of person that made me hate school more than I already did. If I didn't fear my father more than I than these hyenas- I wouldn't even have an education. Calculus was hard as balls, but man does it have its applications. Back them though, if they didn't think of it first or if its not about their world, irrelevant! What a bunch of sociopaths.
Most of the people I grew up with didn't have the patience to apply themselves and it shows. Patrice had so much talent, he could have had 3 season of Chappelle's show. Just stay linked up with other professionals, producers, engineers- you know, doing "man shit". He should've spent time collaborating with them like Chris Rock does and be worth millions.
Come to think of it, he spent a most of his time bitching on O&A about not having access to such things, which tells me two things. A.) he never left the back of the bus and every move is just him looking for what's familiar B.) everything he accomplished so far was him running off the fumes of his raw talent alone pretty much refusing to grow
