most of mine are drilled through with holes that I use for the wire but any that aren't need to be secured and hot glue is a great suggestion. I typically just punch holes in them because I don't need to use them with ornament hangers in the future, I use all mine for these different projects.
A few people tagged me on Instagram to show me theirs attached to their bannisters and balconies so I think it should be great! Just use something more gentle to attach like zip ties over ribbon so you don't damage the wood.
@@Sullivan_Owen love it...I was.curious how you did this on a larger scale. IE your front door. I absolutely love it. This year I'm going to hang the balls from velvet ribbon. Next year I may attempt something like you've done. For our house and the twin attached....if they let me. Lol!!
@@gurskia I wish I could say there's some magic trick but it's really just making lots of strands of ornaments and winding them around a support like the conduit, wire, garland, greenery etc. I basically sit and make strands of 25-50 ornaments on wire and then just start putting them on the support 😊
She never really explained how to put on the other ornaments except for the first. Had to look very closely to see her put another one on. Way to much talking. Took my focus and interest away and I left in mid video:(
Yours is the BEST ball garland tutorial on the internet! Thank you!❤
Wow, thank you!
I find these caps on top of the Joe manners can come off! I hot glue caps on top of ornaments because they will come off if much pressure is applied!!

Thanks so much for the tutorial. I’m going to use your method then attach the strands to my stairway banister garland. Have you ever done this?

what size ornament? Like the idea of twisting the ornament.
I have all sizes from 1" to 16" so it's going to depend on the piece you want to make and budget since they do add up. Thanks for watching!
Amazing work! Where did you wind up putting this?
i think it makes an appearance in the holiday mantel video, i put it in a wooden vessel on our coffee table
