I love your videos! Can you do one on lights for a flocked tree? I only like incandescent, and want to add lights to my tree. Can I use the green stand lights if I pre flock them? I’ve seen videos where they use zip ties to permanently place them on the tree. I need help!
If the tree is prelit running lights through the middle will give you that extra glow. If you are pre flocking lights, I wanna see it! That's big energy! xo
I have been so inspired by your trees and decorating! I want to try some of your techniques, but I have an 8 year old, a 6 year old and a 2 year old. Do you have any tree advice for people with toddlers? Or kids who want to hang their own ornaments? Last year I had to barricade our tree behind our coffee table when my son was crawling, but he can climb now and that won't work anymore!
Buy a Tiny tree for baby with their own cheap shatterproof ornaments. Mommy has her tree that kids don’t touch. Best thing I’ve ever done.
I often add a basket of shatterproof ornaments around the back for the kids :) They feel included and can be taught to respect mom's pretty things
Could you please show a close up of how you placed the wire on the ornaments? Is it around the area where the organza ribbon was placed or around the neck of the ornament, or what??? How did you place the wire... How do you wire up the bigger stuff??? where does the wire go on those objects?

How do you undecorate? I think I may have placed my ribbon and ornaments too deep in the tree because it was very difficult to remove them all.
My trees come down in 20 min or less..... One twist, One drection for one and the same for off.

Yes, the dripping ornaments can spin :))) U have never actually used a spinner but for sure they can!

Yes! Remember the branches you're going to be working with can't withstand the same weights as an artificial tree, but YES! xo

Yeah, lots of good tips in the video! The ornament I was asking about was the one with all the little pearls. We don’t have a home goods in the U.K. unfortunately!
What does the heart of the tree mean in regards to hanging an ornament. Is that the MAIN stem of the branch? Or are you twisting them onto the stems that branch off the main branch, but at the base of them? It’s hard to know what you mean since you didn’t zoom in. I’m totally a visual learner 🤔🤣
If it's a statement heavy item the heart is nearest the "trunk". For an ornament it's that base of the "branch" in the heart of that strarbust the branches make. I'll do a slow-mo zoom for next season... we were racing to keep up this year. It killed Kyle he didn't have time for his favorite zooms.
