I snagged a baby tortum for $7 on Palmstreet last week! I also found a ring of fire, and maranta silver band locally for cheap. I guess what I’m learning is that patience pays off! 😄 💚🍀🌿🍃🌱🐢🦖🌳

I have seen the Philo tortum in the big box store. I got my ring of fire from Wal-Mart and it's still doing well. They are all over the big box store and even were for clearance prices at my local Wal-Mart they were selling them for $7. I also found some marble PPP's and I scored a giant hanging basket of the silver band maranta that I had to get even though I already had a basket of her. I just couldn't pass her up. I definitely felt surprised when I saw it in Lowes when I bought the first basket. I have a gorgeous sarawak cream something something I forgot the specific name but she is amazing. I really want the dinner plate that's my dream hoya. I had two booby cacti's and I killed both of them and I'm sooo sad. The last one I had I bought with a pen!s cactus and when we moved in October a lot of my plants went down hill and most of them died because we were traveling halfway across the US and it wasn't the best travel for the plants.💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Just found a lot of what looks like tissue cultured snowdrift philos at a local grocery store for under $10. Prices are definitely come down across the board for most things.
Philodendron, especially because they tend to be pretty easy to TC!

The most I spent on a game plant was my Thai con and now growtropicals a uk great seller is giving them away when you send over £150 just a baby one but still! I am very lucky was given a Florida beauty cutting as a present it’s very green hopefully as it matures it will go more variegated as it’s a beautiful plant
I do agree with your list. I have several of them, however here we have very little that I have seen at either Home Depot or Lowe’s. I do have a Florida Green that I got from the local Home Depot, for about 22.00, which was a sale price because it did not look good. Now it is about 6 feet tall. I would really like to find a variegated version. Thanks and turn on the air now lol 🤟🏽
Your Thai is adorable. I have three. I did have nine at one stage but although I love them. I don’t have the room for all of them, including all the other plants I love lol
The Thai constellations aren’t in my Woolworths and Coles yet but they are at my Bunnings regularly (like only a couple at a time but still)

I have a now huge tortum that I got from our local ish greenhouse as a plug for about $10 I think. It has grown like a champ! I also have a fing of fire and I picked him up at Walmart for like $6 on clearance lol. It's now putting out a new leaf in my care and could be happier! 🌿😍

I just recently saw Florida Beuty and Strawberry shake available at a grocery store called HEB in Texas. They have also had Thai cons available multiple times this year. I got my ppp and ring of fire from walmart and a squamiferum and snow drift from Kroger (both on clearance) this year.
Yea, but no one ever tells me who is growing them. It's gotta be a local Texas grower. Don't have those anywhere else.

I was just at a local nursery today that was having a houseplant event. They had good sized Thai Cons for $50. It even tempted me and I don't really want a Monstera Deliciosa. For me, they take up too much space that I'd rather devote to smaller plants. It is hard to not get "bitten by the bug" when a plant hits and is super popular. I try to keep Phil Pink Princess in mind when I feel myself drawn into the hype. I bought a PPP at what I felt was a decent price ($32), but really only because of the hype -- not because I was really in to the look of that plant. And then I hated it. It grew janky and its leaves were forever getting stuck. It just wasn't my thing. I gave it to someone who would appreciate it. All that said, I just bought my third Anthurium today, which I probably wouldn't have done had I not heard so much about them on UA-cam. So, there's that.
Oh I haven’t seen the Sarawak in big box stores hut the ones here in Oregon have next to no house plants. Mostly it’s outdoors plants.

I have the Philo Ring of Fire (fast grower from Publix supermarket) and an Aurea rescue (leaves getting bigger no new growth from Walmart)🤷🏽♀️. I was screaming don't you remember the drowning tortums in HD??....lol. I wanted a tortum so bad, but I looked up the mature plant and I don't think I have the room for those big beautiful leaves, same reason I don't have a monstera, they're all gorgeous but mature forms are way too big for my space, so I will love them from afar 💚🪴💚.Tfs your knowledge💚🌍 🍏🥗🪴🐍🍃🌱🍀🍵🌿💚
