Finding Angelina is like discovering a time capsule that once it's opened, out flows a roller coaster like ride through musicality that spans over 90 years, and we owe it all to a young Norwegian girl that was able to compartmentalize all the nuance and intricate aspects of oh so many genres of music, over more than a decade of her life.

Burt Bacharach and Hal David are two of my favourites all the way since the sixties. Hal Davids rhymes are sometimes brilliant, for instance "You get enough germs to catch pneumonia. After you do, he'll never phone you." I have got almost all of Dionne Warwicks LPs with Bacharach songs and even saw her in concert in Stockholm in the nineties.
Angelina Jordan's version sounds happy and full of joy, they do make a beyond fabulous duo, they definitely need to do a EP together that's for sure, they compliment each other perfectly, I pray they do get to do some songs and/or EP together, they make magic moments for us fans to thoroughly enjoy to the fullest 🙏 one more thing, I actually liked the punk version 😊
I remember watching the Perry Como show and this song on our Black and white 17” tv at age 7. This is a seldom seen AJ clip. The two did a couple of others out side that day. Nice work yet again!
Speaking of Burt and Hal, I've always longed to hear Angelina sing " Anyone Who Had a Heart". Even when l write it, l hear it in my head! Dionne was my jam in my preadolescence. Thanks,, Alan, this was a unique curve ball. AJ always dominates.
Though I would not call myself a fan, when Bing started singing the voice recognition was almost instant. A very distinctive voice for me, whereas Perry Como always had a generic feel to me. Always a thought provoking voice tour...thanks Alan!
Thanks you always seem to take us back to a special place in time. Interesting how sometimes you can pick up on the earlier artists that influenced the great singers when Perry Como sings magic moments I think I can hear that he was influenced by Rudy Valley not a criticism though because I think all great singers are influenced by the great ones that came before them.
George and Ira Gershwin are in my top five! Of course, Angelina, covering, Summertime, brought George back to the limelight. (Porgy, and Bess). I remember Perry Como‘s version most, because of his television show. Thank you for sharing all of these memories, Alan. 😇🌺
Every time I hear this song, I always think of Perry Como. My mom and dad would listen to him a lot and that voice was always familiar to me. I also remember the different specials he would have on tv and how our family would always gather around to watch. It's nice to see someone like Angelina listen and keep this music alive....
Excellent presentation. I couldn't imagine that a masterpiece of a song s interpretation would become greater than it is within the frame of a series of different interpretations of the same song in the past. The last minutes of this video filled our hearts with such a warmth that no artist can ever achieve it so far to such a depth as Angelina always does. When I first read the caption ( quickly ) I thought it said ' This Magic Moment ' by Jay and The Americans lol...And I thought 'WHOA, Angelina gonna give that a try '? lol....But WOW, Angelina's version of ' Magic Moments ' is so sweet and beautiful.. Does Republic Records still want Angelina as one of their artists? They had minimal to no publicity or push on her EP. She and her team has not said anything. This total silence is a concern. Thanks.

Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special.
