They obviously appreciate what a great performance it is, but we know that it is so much more than that. You sensed how Angelina is channeling a mother's cry out to her husband and children whom she longs to be with but can't if she is to remain true to her beliefs. When I first saw Angelina sing this and it was introduced as honoring a cause, I searched the internet to find out more about it. I read the committee's press release and associated articles and was sad when so many passed it off as just another great concert. I'm so glad you reacted to this version. I wasn't on camera when I listened to this, so I just let the tears flow freely because I FELT the emotions that Angelina so expertly conveyed in her performance. What's cool was after she finished, she apologized for making us cry, then added, "We'll cry together...." And to think that she was 17 years old and graduated from high school just a few months before. Truly a gift to our generation.

I am obviously biased, but for only the most sincere of reasons, I feel ALL reactors should have been reacting to this Version - the Nobel Peace Prize Tribute Angelina Jordan STORY. For some things CONTEXT is Everything. Of course Angelina will deliver a performance to behold every time, but knowing the backstory - particularly for the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize - brings ANGELINA's performance into a new Dimension. I pains me every time I see another reactor having reacted to the "Official" Unofficial version - nearly all of them "Don't get It" - not that I am blaming them, not at all, more so I am sad that they didn't really know the Foundation supporting the Stage ANGELINA stood Upon.

They totally ignore the brief backstage introduction to her family, Angelina introducing herself by telling us how old she is, where she's from, what she wants to be when she grows up, her performance, and the remaining 0:51 seconds which includes the judge's comments AFTER she leaves the stage and more backstage footage! If you listen to the words it’s as though Narges Mohammadi is talking to her twins in the audience through Angelina..it’s chilling in a way but utterly perfect and beyond moving..each time I see her clasp her heart and look at the twins I’m gone, tears! Thank you for this 🙏
And sadly she was sentenced to 15 more months today for refusing to wear a hijab for her much needed visit the hospital, just heartbreaking. Let us all pray for Narges ❤😢
