I remember reading in a Horror Hound, an idea for a cross over/ versus movie wish list and it was Pumpkinhead v The Creeper ( Jeepers Creepers ), where the sister of the first movies main character calls upon Pumpkinhead to take on The Creeper. I don't know why they don't cross over these movies. It's B to C grade horror and I think it be schlocky fun.

To answer the question about what happened with the Pumpkinhead 2 suit, KNB was a little distracted with partying on set and the suit wasnt designed nor cared for as the first one was. They actually ripped once of the shoulder pieces off because the director bet that he could rip it off...yay for professionalism. They admitted to this in the documentary Nightmare Factory.
Dear Decker, I've been watching a lot of your videos since I found them about a year ago, the first ones being Kamen Rider The First & The Next. As a Japanese college kid, it was fun and satisfying to watch someone FINALLY critique the damn things. I must say, I absolutely LOVE THEM!!!
Ykno what be an interesting twist of the story for a pumpkinhead sequel? Where what happens after pumpkin head is done. In the first film, it explains that once all the marked souls are killed, it'll go after the summoner. So why not have that be a story? Like say the main character wanted to get vengeance on someone and they summon the beast, only for their target to die before pumpkin head has a chance to do so, and so the film will be a thriller and chase as the main character tries to get away from the vengeful creature as it tries to hunt them down, destroying and killing anyone in his path. It also would give a new spin on how vengeance always has a price, and one that's literally haunting and hunting you down would make for a pretty terrifying film.
As to the question about the suits: I read that the redesign was intentional. Sacrificing look and fluid of movement for a suit that would hold up better for more action friendly movement. The first suit looked and moved more like I would imagine a demon to move. The second prototype was more wire-work and the third and fourth were the finished products. Meant to face up to more damage and as such. You'll be happy to know that there is a reboot/remake in the works.

I think the worst part about all these Pumpkinhead sequels is that none have shown the outcome of Pumpkinhead actually accomplishing his mission. What happens then actually? Summoner goes straight to hell? Or turns into a new Pumpkinhead while the one he summoned dies? This could've actually be really interesting. But nope - same conclusion all the way through: before he can kill his last victim summoner either offs himself or lets someone kill him, Pumpkinhead dies, Lance Henriksen gets his paycheck, the end.

Pumpkinhead is one of my all-time favorite movies. I saw it 7 times at the theater and bought it on dvd when it came out. I hope the reboot does it justice.
I know this is two years late, but holy shit, the audio quality from your mic is far better than the one from the movie. The film audio is on the peak of clipping. It's almost painful. Anyone else really want to see pumkinhead actually get full vengeance? Instead of the summoner or in that one case summoners being killed? It would be a nice change to see it actually finish its job and see what happens instead of just hearing what would happen

I'd say that on the whole, I can't get into the Pumpkin Head Movies. Ultimately, I see the movies as having no one I can really identify with. There's always one person who suffers some tragedy at the beginning and wants to seek revenge; so I guess I could sympathize there. But that sympathy is abandoned once you they summon a demonic spirit to kill all of their would-be enemies, losing their soul to it, AND has to DIE in order to stop it. The teenagers or the other miscellaneous characters who make up the body-count are what I'd expect to sympathize with; but they all basically deserve it in one way or another.
Damn it now I want to know what happens if you want it to kill you like would it or like would it kill you and itself or would it like not ever need to be summoned

Good review Decker. Yeah, the Pumpkinhead franchise has a lot of flaws, but usually the monster is the highlight of any of the movies. I think the series was supposed to be and anthology, with differing legends ands such starting with Blood Wings. But it looks like for the most part the studios just make them anymore to retain the rights. Kinda hurts to watch the sequels after the second film.
Decker I'm not on much feuds like this feud in the movie but I've read a book about two ancient armies and their feud was really hard to break so I say no they should not reason with each other

Good review Decker. Yeah, the Pumpkinhead franchise has a lot of flaws, but usually the monster is the highlight of any of the movies. I think the series was supposed to be and anthology, with differing legends ands such starting with Blood Wings. But it looks like for the most part the studios just make them anymore to retain the rights. Kinda hurts to watch the sequels after the second film.

Decker I'm not on much feuds like this feud in the movie but I've read a book about two ancient armies and their feud was really hard to break so I say no they should not reason with each other
