The private island is on "Cowichan Lake." The nearby town is called "Lake Cowichan."
If a small portable power system I invented ever sells, I would like to have a small island with a home similar to that on it! You are SOOOOOOOO blessed!
I believe you find at the end of the video the Realtors contact details to find out price and details. Peter Nash Realty Victoria. The closest town with shops etc is Lake Cowichan, Gordon Bay is really a Campground recreation area, Youbou very small town. Park at Marina 15 to 20 mins by boat from there.

It can be very cold and snowy in winter, and the winds blow down the lake in the mid afternoon.

One question. Where does your sewage go as you drink from the lake ?
Hey Henry - These guys had a full self-contained sewage treatment plant on-island. They were completely off-grid from a hydro, water and sewage perspective. They boated in food & supplies. Very neat escape.
Uhm, I did skip thru a bit as its way too long, but where do you park your car ?, marina cost for keeping boat ?, how long of a walk carrying all the supplies from dock to cottage ?, did I miss selling price ? PS, I know this is the island by the 'Caribbean' ... oh and Stacey nearest town is Youbou or Gordon's Bay, not the Town....

It's worth mentioning that this "Property" is on the unseated territory of the Fs'uubaa-asatx First Nation AKA Lake Cowichan First Nation. Guy from England buys this place from a logging company then "develops the property" and likely profits from it. Does anyone else see a problem with this?
